White People Told They Are Not Welcome

White theatregoers in London were urged to stay away from a play about African American history so that black audience members could enjoy the performance “free from the white gaze”. The Theatre Royal Stratford East, in east London, has caused uproar after it told white people to stay away from a “Black Out” performance of the Tambo & Bones play on July 5. Although the theatre claimed that “no one is excluded”, it went on to make it abundantly clear that white people would not be welcome at the performance that tells the story of a pair of African Americans on a journey from mistrels to rappers,

Darn. I was so looking forward to seeing it. I was going to leave my teenage daughter in the unlocked car in a bikini, while having cash hanging out of my pockets inside. I even bought a Steppin Fetchit Tshrt so all the blacks would know I support them. Why would any white person want to go to such a thing? There are better ways to commit suicide.

Why didn't somebody think of this sooner? Have you been to a movie theater lately? Lots of talking and inappropriate laughter. "They" spoil the experience for everybody. A play is the same experience only it's live. I hope this catches on in our country.

I doubt you would feel welcome sitting through an hour and a half of vicious accusations against all people with white skin for all the sins of the dimokkkrap party- aiming pure hatred at you to distract from the fact that the dimokkkrap party committed the crimes. Like being a bank employee of a bank getting robbed and the robbers dropping evidence that you helped them plan it. Very unpleasant.

Two points. First, according to the article, excluding white people from theater performances was first launched on Broadway. Here is another example of our country poisoning the world with the toxicity of the racist Democrat Party. Second. Black people seem to be oblivious that their whining and open racism are turning the majority off. More and more non black people will decide to remove themselves from situations where black people are present.

I wonder if the play included the part where the slaves were sold to white people by other black people? Slavery in Africa started long before the whites even showed up to buy them. Blacks on campuses are always having events that are for "blacks only." Now tell me which race is the most racist. Glad to see that many blacks are not racist, but most of them are far more racist than whites.

Oh, I see. We're supposed to learn about the evils of segregation by demanding that people segregate. Just like we're supposed to learn why discrimination is wrong by teaching black students to discriminate against white students. Our society has gone completely whacko. I don't know if there's any hope.

Looks like blacks are fond of a little segregation. That is fine with me. I am uneasy in a majority black crowd not because of their skin tone but because they have shown themselves to be extremely violent with whites even when unprovoked. This is because of the content of their character not the color of their skin. The amount of melanin in your skin has nothing to do with it but the amount of hate in your heart sure does. This attitude by anyone is toxic because eventually the hate is unleashed. Thank Obama, he put us on this path and has been serving up divisiveness on a silver platter.

The White House on Thursday released a broad national strategy to fight antisemitism, describing the initiative as unprecedented in scope amid a surge in anti-Jewish crime. However, the White House evaded an increasingly contentious debate over how to define antisemitism, avoiding a clear endorsement of a mainstream, widely accepted definition while simultaneously welcoming an alternative pushed by progressives who argue the former doesn't allow sufficient space to criticize Israel, the world's only Jewish state. The 60-page document details four pillars that undergird the strategy: increasing awareness and understanding of antisemitism and appreciation of Jewish American heritage,

Whoopi Goldberg told her co-hosts Wednesday on ABC’s “The View” that Gov. Ron DeSantis’ (R-FL) presidential bid will have to deal with “gay folks” rising up and fighting for what they need. Discussing DeSantis’ presidential announcement, Goldberg said, “He has to work on, be articulate, so we know what you’re talking about. I don’t understand. I didn’t know what he was saying. Look, you know what, this idea of announcing on Twitter. I’m old and I’m okay being old, do that on television. Okay? I want to see you do it on television. I want to see you actually take real Americans’ questions. That’s what I want.

I was born in Minneapolis, graduated from the University of Minnesota and have lived in the Twin Cities essentially my entire life. So when I sold my business and took early retirement in 2017, planning to get away from the Minnesota winters, I always thought I'd remain a resident of the state I love that had provided me so much. (snip) The last reason I'm leaving Minnesota is because of a lack of hope. I'm a realist, and realism tells me there's nothing more I can do to help prevent Minnesota's decline.

Target has lost $9 billion in market value since angry social media users called for a boycott of the Minneapolis-based retailer over its rollout of the “PRIDE” collection featuring LGBTQ-friendly clothing for children. A week ago Wednesday before the controversy erupted, Target’s stock closed at $160.96 a share, giving the big-box chain a market capitalization of $74.3 billion. As of early trading on Thursday, however, shares of the company were trading off 1% at $141.76 — capping a weeklong tumble that has shrunk the “cheap chic” discount retailer’s value to $65.3 billion. That amounts to a 12% drop that has shaved a whopping $9 billion off the company’s market capitalization.

After working hard to keep Ron DeSantis from entering the presidential primary at all, Donald Trump now is trying to make the case that the Florida governor has no chance of winning. Trump might believe it – though his barrage of attacks against DeSantis suggests otherwise. But anyone who thinks that the Republican primaries are over long before they even get started needs a lesson in history. When news broke earlier this week about DeSantis’ plan to enter the race, Trump immediately posted a series of links

Sen. Tim Scott, R-S.C., and others including Rep. Byron Donalds, R-Fla., blasted "The View" co-host Joy Behar on Tuesday after she claimed Scott "doesn't get" racism while comparing him to Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas. "He’s one of these guys, like Clarence Thomas, Black Republican, who believes in pulling yourself up by your bootstraps, rather than understanding the systemic racism that African Americans face in this country and other minorities. He doesn’t get it. Neither does Clarence. That’s why they’re Republicans," she said Tuesday during "The View."
