Chicago’s Brandon Johnson: ‘Wicked,’
‘Unconscionable’ for Texas to Send
Border Crossers to Sanctuary Cities

Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson (D) says it is “wicked” and “unconscionable” for Texas to bus thousands of border crossers and illegal aliens to the sanctuary city. This week, on his first official day as mayor, Johnson visited border crossers and illegal aliens who are living inside city police stations on the ground. During the visit, Johnson said politicians “that are using the lives of individuals as a way to score some political points with a certain segment of the population in this country,” in a veiled attack on Texas Gov. Greg Abbott (R), who has bused thousands of border crossers and illegal aliens to Chicago and other sanctuary cities since mid-2022.

Once again here is an official list from the state of Illinois: List of Community Service Agencies Serving Immigrants https://www.dhs.state.il.us/page.aspx?item=117419 Many, if not most, of these groups have Chicago addresses. When you invite them and when you fund them you are “... using the lives of individuals as a way to score some political points with a certain segment of the population in this country,” Yes, you want to score points with your "segment of the population in this country,” And you are using people in a “wicked” and “unconscionable” manner for your political benefit. While passing the costs onto red states. Embrace the suck. You earned it.

Easy to be magnanimous until it affects you, right Mr. Mayor? Certainly you had ideas about how El Paso or Laredo or Brownsville would absorb the newcomers so just do the same thing in Chicago. After all, you have more resources than those small towns. It should be a cinch. And certainly when you advertised Chi-town as a friendly sanctuary city you knew that illegal immigrants would flock to your town. Isn’t that what you wanted? This is one heck of a time to reveal to your citizens that it was all just talk and you have no idea what to do with this invading mass of humanity.

Actions and elections both have consequences. Declaring Chicago a sanctuary city then refusing to back up your words is rather hypocritical of you Mayor. But then you are the party of hypocrisy, right?

I thought that was the purpose of a sanctuary city. I agree with the posters, send more to Chicago. In fact, send them all. The mayor's problem is that his black residents don't want anything to do with them.

FBI whistleblowers have detailed how politicized the bureau has become, and some of them testified on Thursday during a hearing of the House Weaponization Committee. Add that to the incredible revelations in the Durham Report—and we knew we are in deep trouble with how they have been operating. But information released on Friday shows it’s even worse than most people knew.
