Top Republicans remind FBI Director Chris Wray he must comply with a subpoena for a document allegedly linking Joe Biden to a cash-for-access 'criminal scheme' or else face 'consequences.'
'The FBI's delay in producing a single, unclassified record is unacceptable,' said House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer to Wray in a Friday evening letter marking nine days since the deadline passed.
'The FBI’s credibility is on the line, and their continued failure to cooperate will have long lasting consequences,' added Sen. Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa.

The House should invoke the Holman Rule and reduce the pay of very top member of the FBI and DOJ to $1 per year until they comply. The measure, created in 1876 by Rep. William Holman (R-In.), allows lawmakers the ability to cut salaries of individual federal employees through floor amendments. This bill was rescinded in 1983 but reinstated by the current Congress.

The FBI leadership know they can and will get away with thumbing their noses at congress, because the FBI has dirt on every single member of congress, their families, and their donors. They and the CIA have the ability to access any phone call, email, or text message sent by any person in the country. On top of that, who would dare to go in and try to arrest them? They *are* the law enforcement authority in America.

The GOP are beyond pathetic. The fact that no one, as in 0 living beings, expects the Republicans to take any kind of effective action is very telling. And sad. The Dems are laughing their behinds off.

Of course GOP haters will take the Daily Mail bait, which is predicated on lacking the knowledge of separation of powers and the Article I roll of the Legislature, all to encourage dissension within the party and lower conservative voter turnout. Cutting funding for the FBI deeply would assure that Wray and his trusted comrades would make cuts in things that matter, like terrorist surveillance and the apprehension of our worst criminals.

The only "consequences" for the FBI withholding information will be Republicans starting to cry, holding their breaths and threatening to run away. Republicans trying to act like policemen are always shown to be dickless Tracys.

Uhm…the resistance of the top law enforcement agency in the country to a request by Congress highly indicates that a coup has been committed on the United States of America and we are in the cleaning up phase. If the head of the DOJ had any loyalty to the oath he took, withholding documents would not be happening. He would understand the concept of separation of powers. All that is understood in that corrupt town is cover up and stonewall. Right now it appears we are living under only democrat power and the rest can go to hades. Checks and balances are a thing of the past. Looks like another failure for Republicans and win for the deep state. I am beginning to believe this is ALL Kabuki Theater, all the time and both sides have a part to play. We in the audience are there to watch and applaud. And the coup d’etat marches on…

Yeah...well the fbi is done as a credible law enforcement agency...just how far they will go should emphasize their game plan for the rats...it's been an eye opener for Americans....their funding should be dropped until they comply...hit them in the pocket books...money talks...another letter to these traitors won't help...they file them in the circular file...the only way to stop this nonsense is to win in 2024...it's the only way to take control....

Oooo! "Consequences". Scaaaawy. I'm certain that the hard core communist mafiosi who have seized control of the federal government are quaking with fear.
The one thing I have always admired about the tyrannical totalitarians is their single-minded pursuit of their goal. A more tenacious enemy you will not find. If you get in their way, they will jail you or kill you without so much as a thought.
On the other hand, the so-called "leaders" on our side collapse at the first whiff of resistance. Heavy sigh.

Fed up republicans. That's kind of their thing. Never do anything about it. Just get fed up. Oh, and whine about it too. In the meantime, do nothing more. They'll keep getting reelected, they'll keep enabling Democrats. But by golly, they will be fed up.

Might I suggest the House subpoena Wray and Garland. While they are on the Hot Seat together call the Capitol Police. Ask one more time and if they refuse, ARREST THEM for Withholding Criminal Evidence into an investigation, then throw them in the J6 Slammer. What are they going to do...boo hoo? The House has ALL the Power vested in the Constitution to oversee the FBI and DOJ. While they are stewing in their cells Subpoena the next in command and their Direct Subordinates and do the same thing. Sooner or later the DOJ and FBI will figure out WHO they actually work for. Once the documents are turned or or seized, leave all of them in the J6 prison until all the Supposed Insurrection prisoners are released and made whole! It's amazing how fast Bureaucrats Fold once they realize they have No Power that isn't overseen by Congress. Since they are NOT convicted, there is NO Pardon.
