Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been knocked back after demanding the picture agency involved in a 'near catastrophic car chase' give them its pictures. Backgrid has rejected the couple's demands after the incident in New York on Tuesday night, telling them that Americans 'long ago rejected royal prerogative'. The letter, which the agency said it got from the pair's legal team on Thursday, reportedly said: 'We hereby demand that Backgrid immediately provide us with copies of all photos, videos, and/or films taken last night by the freelance photographers after the couple left their event and over the next several hours.'

Could not resist posting this article due to the superb response by Backgrid to the demands of Harry and Meghan, a response being applauded by the Brits. Continue reading the article for this noteworthy and enjoyable display of courage and straightforwardness of the American character that seems to be eroding as snowflakes attempt to commandeer the behavior of American citizens.

The Backgrid letter: FTA: “Backgrid said it had replied with a letter reading: 'In America, as I'm sure you know, property belongs to the owner of it: Third parties cannot just demand it be given to them, as perhaps Kings can do. 'Perhaps you should sit down with your client and advise them that his English rules of royal prerogative to demand that the citizenry hand over their property to the Crown were rejected by this country long ago. We stand by our founding fathers.'” The old adage of “If you find yourself in a hole, stop digging.” is something Meghan and Harry would do well to consider.

Perhaps you should sit down with your client and advise them that his English rules of royal prerogative to demand that the citizenry hand over their property to the Crown were rejected by this country long ago. EVERY single car ride, and certainly every plane flight is 'near catastrophic''; saved only from disaster by... a safe arrival.(which nearly all actually accomplish) Thus "Near Catastrophic" is actually just plain...Normal. Had they simply proceeded to their destination in their luxury/LimoSUVs. no issue of any kind would have occurred, IF the photos had broken Traffic laws, run red lights, been in an accident? That would be on them...and in the rearveiw mirror.

It's called "doubling down on dumb". If they (she) weren't dumb, arrogant, and entitled, they'd hunker down and just hope this entire publicity disaster would go away soon. The rest of us would be very happy if they did that and just stayed hunkered down and out of the news forever.

The Dukette is not the center of anything and nothing revolves around her. The very sad Duke, tethered to a being with an oversized ego . The very sad Dukette , actually believes her own press releases. Will Prince Harkle ever see the light? Will the Shrew of Sussex ever see the joke that she is? And what about the leverage kids Arkle and Larkle, will they ever be seen in public? For the answers to these and other meaningless questions, tune in tomorrow , next week or next year for another chapter of " The Unmerry Wife of Windsor",.............. desperately seeking privacy while appearing everywhere for cold had cash.

Chances are there are not such “Royal Prerogatives” that people must turn over their property to the Crown in the UK either, and that old prerogative has not existed there for a longtime if ever.

Because they have no means to support themselves, they are desperate to become "Someone". It seems the "We are Royal" has all dried up and the Book is probably already in the Dumpsters behind the Stores, so they need somehow to stay in the News. This Hoax of a Car Ride makes them look desperate. Harry has been whining about not wanting to pay for his own Security both in the States and In the UK, so maybe this whole Charade was to try and make it look like he NEEDS more Security. Unfortunately, most folks think if he needs more, he should PAY for it himself! They need to understand that the Grifts won't work anymore! Nobody cares about them! They are no longer Important to ANYONE! And they managed to do that to Themselves!

Well, to tell the truth I’ve never been chased by paparazzi but I have driven in NYC numerous times and I can’t figure out where these two airheads were headed that would have taken two hours to get to but it occurs to me that they could have stopped somewhere else, a restaurant or hotel with security, ducked inside and called the police. Or, better yet, they could stop paying fake paparazzi to chase them around and get real lives. And real jobs.

Practically dying of envy, the Sussex royals Harry and Me-again won't be truly satisfied, deep down, until they reach the same state as Diana and Dodi Fayed, even if said state is the state of decomposition. In the Big Apple they were looking unsuccessfully for a drunk French driver and a Mercedes Bends, and drove around for hours escorted by New York's finest. As is well known, they were in terrible danger every moment. One wrong turn at Central Park West, and it could have been all over for them. An ignorant moving van bound for Florida might have ambushed and pancaked them in their limo. Life's lesson: You're nothing until you've had a funeral with a solemn royal procession on worldwide television. It's something to look forward to for two drama queens. They'll be the center of attention yet ... after their Worldwide Privacy Tour ends.

First, it’s been my experience that many—if not most—casual poll watchers tend to pay selective attention to polls, not unlike Fox News or CNN viewers who watch various on-air personalities to be told what they want to hear. Second, we’ve seen candidates laud the results of a particular poll when its results favor them, then turn around and call the exact same polls “fake” when they don’t like the poll’s latest results. Third, while pre-primary polls conducted among likely voters of a single party might be lauded by various candidates and their followers, polls conducted among
