Biden administration targets a Catholic
hospital for daring to question its authority

Not content to harass just Catholic nuns , the successor administration to the Obama White House has taken up harassing Catholic hospitals. (snip) When it seemed clear the inspector was going to make an issue of the sanctuary lamp, hospital staff objected. In response, according to Windham, “The surveyor observed to Saint Francis personnel that other Catholic hospitals had complied and extinguished the living flame at their chapels, substituting it with an electric light.” (snip) The citation is even more ridiculous, considering the sanctuary lamp has been in use since Saint Francis’s founding in 1960. (snip) What generosity. What beneficence, offering a religious organization a government “waiver”

The administrations hatred for the Catholic Religion and any other religion is showing. Kind of stupid to pick on the hospital for a candle! If the candle was the welcome desk at the front door, it would be ok. But the candle is used to tell people that Christ is present in the form a Host in the tabernacle of the chapel. Can't have that. I hope the adminstration of the hospital does not back down.

How about instead of replacing the candle with an electric light, they replace it with a natural gas flame? /s off I understand the historic and religious significance of 'lighting a candle', just a gentle poke at the anti-nat gas insanity of the EcoNazis. I lit a number of candles in Eastern Orthodox and Armenian churches when I traveled there to pray for a niece's husband who was in combat operations then.

America's Commander-in-Chief just laid another egg. President Joe Biden wants all Pentagon vehicles to be electric by 2030 – in just six years and seven months. America’s fearless leader previewed this policy on Earth Day 2022. “We’re going to start the process where every vehicle in the United States military, every vehicle, is going to be climate-friendly — every vehicle,” Biden said in Seattle that April 22. “I mean it.” (snip) Those who have worn America’s uniform find this jaw-droppingly stupid. “Anyone who has even a little experience in military logistics recognizes Joe Biden’s E.V. mandate as a political farce,” House Armed Services Committee member Jim Banks (R-Indiana) told me.

Here’s another example of leftists being authoritarian under the guise of trying to protect marginalized groups. California has rolled out a program ostensibly designed to stop hate crimes and other acts of bigotry. How? By creating a hotline allowing residents to snitch on one another for engaging in “hateful” activity. The program, which is called “California vs Hate,” is “a non-emergency hate incident and hate crime reporting system to support individuals and communities targeted for hate,” according to its website. The state legislature provided funding to its Civil Rights Department to establish the initiative.

U.S. Air Force abandoned an experiment aimed at boosting pilot training graduation rates for women and minority pilots after the 2021 initiative failed to achieve the intended results and officers privately warned it could violate anti-discrimination policies, according to documents obtained by the Daily Caller News Foundation. As part of the larger military-wide effort to promote diversity in the service’s pilot ranks, the 19th Air Force command near San Antonio, Texas, “clustered” racial minorities and female trainees into one class, dubbed “America’s Class,” to find out if doing so would improve the pilots’ graduation rates.

Retired U.S. Navy Commander Julianna Vida slammed one Republican Party lawmaker’s criticism of the Navy officially using a drag queen to boost recruitment for the military branch. In a statement provided to Fox News Digital this week, Vida said that Sen. Tommy Tuberville’s assessment that the Navy has become "preoccupied with identity politics" is "destructive" and "undermines" the Navy’s methods of recruiting new members. Vida, who was in the Navy for over 30 years and currently servers on the Naval Academy Alumni Association Board of Trustees, defended the Navy’s use of drag queen recruiting ads as a "critical" method of welcoming "traditionally excluded segments of our population."

There is nothing more “narcissistic, degenerate and evil” than those who push abortion or argue against having children because of the supposed climate crisis, Dutch political commentator Eva Vlaardingerbroek said. A report from the Rotterdam-based paper Algemeen Dagblad claimed that the majority of young adults in The Netherlands are concerned about having children in response to the persistent Armageddon-like warnings around the climate, with some speaking to the paper saying that they had aborted their children over fears of the so-called crisis.

There was a lot of discourse around President Joe Biden turning down King Charles III’s invitation to the coronation. Even though a U.S. president has never attended a coronation, some critics felt like this was a snub against the royal family. First Lady Dr. Jill Biden and her granddaughter, Finnegan, went instead, but now, Twitter is calling foul on their less-than-ideal seating placement. Users of the social media platform are frustrated that coronation organizers wanted world leaders there, but when they got the first lady instead, they feel like King Charles didn’t treat her with the respect she deserves. Two weeks ago, President Joe Biden announced that he is running for reelection in 2024, promising to “finish the job”. What exactly does he want to finish, other than American exceptionalism as we know it? America is rapidly imploding on many fronts – financial and economic, cultural, safety, and our place in the world. Does finishing the job mean erasing every achievement of former President Donald Trump? Or is he completing former President Barack Obama’s 2008 campaign promise, "We are five days away from fundamentally transforming the United States of America"?

It will soon release a proposed rule targeting power plants with hugely expensive carbon capture mandates. This is just the tip of the spear.
