LGBTQ+ lawmaker to GOP: ‘I’m literally

State Sen. Shevrin Jones can often be seen at the Florida Capitol greeting staff and colleagues with a smile or laugh, but when he’s alone it’s a different story. “The outward expression is to show God’s love. That’s what I was taught,” said Jones, a Democrat. But, he said, “I have enough tears in my car to fill a lake.” For Jones, who is gay, the past two years have been emotionally draining as Florida passed a flurry of anti-LGBTQ+ legislation.CORRECTION*

I'm a member of "the tribe". I have not been negatively affected by any of this legislation and in fact support all of it. Grooming children and normalizing transgender mental issues are non-starters. I also support the death penalty for pedophiles. So Jones needs to untwist his panties and put on his big boy pants.

For these mentally ill people, I suppose that their existence is difficult, but it is NOT anyone's problem, and se do NOT need to change our lives to somehow make these mentally deranged people's lives "better" or "easier" and certainly to NOT change ourselves to make their abnormality somehow "more normal". They are abnormal. They are messed up. It is THEIR problem, not mine. And my plan is to ignore them and shun them to the maximum degree possible in order that MY life will be as normal and sane as possible

I would sincerely like to get these people the help they need, for they are obviously mentally ill. Unfortunately, due to the demonrats using them as political pawns to advance the leftist agenda; that help is not available. Once the left no longer has a political use for them, they will be discarded in the manner of the africans-in-America. Leftists only care about one thing in this life, and that is POWER! Absolute power over everything and everyone. It is a sickness which they cannot find a cure. Universal subjugation is their only goal. Understand this fact and you will understand every completely insane action on the part of the leftists.

I’ve never heard of Shervin Jones before, but I know 2 things about him. Every quote in this piece is a lie (no elected Democrat has done otherwise in more than a generation), and he needs prayer (we all do). He isn’t distraught over any recent legislation in Florida, because no one has been harmed. When our children are safer from such deviance, we’re all better off. And unless he was actively grooming in our K-3 classrooms, nothing passed recently has limited Shervin Jones’ pursuits in any way. He’s showboating, nothing more. I do pray that he’d come to know Jesus before it’s too late, and that God will continue to bless FL and all of the USA.

Join the club, Senator. We’ve all cried a lake-full of tears over something in our lives. We’ve all been discriminated against, at one time or another, and we’ve all had to keep our heads up as legislation that did not favor us was passed. If you truly are moved to show God’s love, say your prayers in the back of the church, instead of marching to front to proclaim your suffering for all to see. #1, thank you for your contribution to this post. Decency comes from all corners of the earth.

Not judging - making an observation here - but if you're in a Master of Divinity program, raised with a strong religious background and have deep faith then you must KNOW that the Bible says that anything else aside from one man, one woman is an abomination before the Lord. Perhaps your 'strong faith' is one that puts YOUR desires BEFORE God's

These weepers ought to visit Key West (it's in Florida, Shevrin). We vacation in the Keys. There are multiple hotels and venues that advertise as *not for heterosexuals*, using other words, of course. Everyone we saw was calm and we saw no one doing a lap dance with a toddler. We saw no billboards from medical facilities seeking minors to mutilate. Leaving other people and their children alone could prevent LGBT tears.

Mr. Jones' problem is not the fact that he's gay; he's mentally "off". I'm pretty sure that most in the gay community do NOT feel "emotionally drained" by these laws. I suggest that AP contact Dave Rubin --- a new Florida resident --- for his thoughts. I bet they'd be quite a bit different. Or....Ric Grenell who performed with excellence each assignment he was given by President Trump. Both men are gay but oddly each is able to live his life quite well without making his orientation an issue. Neither mentions it every 5 seconds, either. And there are many more like them. Mr. Jones is in the minority in the LGBTQ+ community. Sadly, this minority is loud, proud, and obnoxious with no ability to realize how off-putting their shrillness is to the rest of us.

As the second term admin has been more aggressive about pursuing Supreme Court interventions, federal district judges are issuing frivolous rulings intended to barrage SCOTUS with a constant need to intervene. And that’s followed by complaints to the media that the Supreme Court is seizing too much power and undermining the judiciary.

You already know what’s happening. In Tennessee, the Legislature passed a bill that puts a stop to transgender surgeries for minors, and the Left went crazy. Not long after the bill passed, a biological female still living at home at 28 snapped, descending on a Christian school in a psychotic rage and killing three school staffers and three 9-year-olds before law enforcement gave her the suicide-by-cop she wanted. The shooter wrote a manifesto explaining the crime, which the police still refuse to release — a telltale sign that trans politics played a role. CORRECTION*
