The purge of conservatives at Fox started last week when Bingino was dismissed. There are rumors that Bartiromo is next. I think Hegseth may be on the hit list. BTW, I think congresswoman Sandy Cortez was tipped off about the firing of Tucker Carlson. On Sunday, in a discussion with Psaki on MSNBC, Cortez made an authoritarian call for government regulations to take Carlson off the air. The next day Tucker was let go by Fox and Sandy took a victory lap. Does anyone think this chain of events was coincidental?

Tucker will survive, go it alone in the digital world and make Fox News the next MSNBC. Don't see Tucker running for any political office - why go into the world of snakes. He can view that world from the sideline and be free to report on it and criticize it as he sees fit. As a going away gift, McCarthy can give him the complete J6 videos and transcripts. The irony would be strong and AOC would go ape-shite. Sit tight. The real Tucker is about to be unleashed upon the world.

Exactly #5. We are about to see Tucker without the constraints of placating his overlords. I have noticed him ratcheting things up; I believe he controlled the process perhaps not necessarily the specific timing. He knew where the lines were and he crossed them one step at a time. His plan is in place, he knew exactly what he was doing. Fasten your seatbelts.

The truly frightening thing is that Fox News is willing to part with a huge chunk of revenue and forego their distinction of being the only network that features actual conservatives, guaranteeing their descent into CNN-world. This means that their income must stem from sources other than the subscribing public and advertising, ie billionaires and organizations bent on a new order. It will be interesting to see their future income sources.

Two can play at "Lawfare," as they shall soon find out. Tucker just retained some very powerful legal counsel and I keep hearing the names, Nick Sandman and Kyle Rittenhouse floating around inside my head. If Tucker was fired as a result of Congressional pressure (ILLEGAL) or as a result of the Dominion settlement (ILLEGAL, as he wasn't even mentioned in the initial court filing) then this firing is purely vindictive on the part of a few AND it harms the Shareholders of Fox, as he was their #1 draw! There will soon be a Class Action brought by the 85% shareholders of Fox stock for damages and to FIRE the Members of the Board who voted to fire him. This is going to blow up bigly. Keep your "nose up in the turn," Tucker!

Tucker does not have to worry about paying his bills - he's very fortunate in that regard. I will miss him because he gave a voice to Alex Berenson (in the early days of the covid scam), Glen Greenwald, Andy Ngo and others who don't fit into the mainstream idea of a journalist. When Fox signed up Karl Rove and Dana Perino years ago - that was a clear signal of their political direction.

There's an elephant in the room that nobody wants to talk about. Yes, the libs have managed to take down our spokespeople, one by one. But now they have successfully managed to destroy one of our most active venues---Fox News. Even is you detest Fox, you have to admit it served as a conservative meeting place of sorts, a lounge, a public square---a place for us to connect. Where are we supposed to go now? We enabled the libs to roll over us with their Divide and Conquer scheme and here is the result. Tucker gone, Fox destroyed. Where do we go for the song, after the singer is gone and the studio has been shut down? And, BTW, where's Hillary lately? When she's MIA, she's involved.

#18 makes very important points. Losing Fox is nothing to celebrate. For all the especially recent errors in judgement, Fox has been the ONLY news outlet, cable and otherwise, with the broad reach it developed and grew, that was a platform for conservative politicians, for people of Christian belief and allowed to speak about it openly, for military vets, for people of actual conservative political views. The other channels, ALL OF THEM do not allow, in fact, as we know, they ridicule conservatives and Christians and people of faith. The Murdoch sons and their wives are indeed chopping away at the foundations of the Channel upon which the broad successes have been built. They are phenomenally stupid and short-sighted. Fox was the only place where real debate could happen. None of the programs are like those on the other channels where setting abound for screeching hyenas who ridicule and lambaste, but never discuss one serious issue or one issue seriously. Fox did (and still does) try to offer hearing for all sides of issues. Are they successful all the time? Clinton complained about Fox because she got exposed. BO complained because Fox was not part of the big leftwing monolith. Same with Biden and vast majority of Dem/Left politicians. Reminds me of how these boobs and Billy Clinton, too, detested Rush because the airwaves were splintered by the dulcet tones from his Golden EIB microphone, and because he was intellectually effective and persuasive. To remain (or regain) relevance, Fox needs to do soul-searching (if the players are capable. Unfortunately, I rather doubt these new mostly wokesters are able to find their souls). Their relevance is only if they are an alternative where real debate and discussion happens, and conservatives (for lack of a better word) must be the majority of hosts because they are the ones who listen and challenge. Just some thoughts. I think firing Tucker was a colossal mistake in judgment. We might be able to find him elsewhere, but those screeching hyenas and rabid View wenches who shriek and laugh maniacally at the misfortunes of their competitors will have no counterpoint challenge.

With their decision to take Tucker Carlson’s show off the air, Fox News’s Rupert and Lachlan Murdoch have failed to account for media and political dynamics that have, over a period of years, shifted under their feet.
