In the wake of the news that Tucker Carlson has left Fox News, many people are wondering why. “FOX News Media and Tucker Carlson have agreed to part ways. We thank him for his service to the network as a host and prior to that as a contributor,” the statement from the network explained. “Mr. Carlson’s last program was Friday April 21st. Fox News Tonight will air live at 8 PM/ET starting this evening as an interim show helmed by rotating FOX News personalities until a new host is named.”No other details were offered, leading to speculation that his departure may have been connected to the recent settlement

I don't think Tucker ever said nothing bad happened on J6 caused by "protestors." There was some damage, vandalism, and bluster (no weapons used by the "protestors," unlike officer Byrd who obviously picked up his gun from the restroom and shot an unarmed woman). But the media, Democrats, and inside-the-beltway establishment uniparty Republicans all sounded like it was a coup d'etat. Heck, it wasn't even a soup d'jour. The Democrats and their stooges like Lizzard Cheney all played up their side of the story. So Tucker does a little what I thought was underwhelming look at some of the less sensational coverage (and most of that 40,000 hours of tape, as I understand, was basically dead air -- most of it from congressional office buildings not involved in the "insurrection." I can't see Tucker ending up at CNN or one of the other networks. They'd muzzle him quicker than a pack of vicious pit bulls at a daycare center. This must have happened fast, because FNC was running his interview with Elon Musk at 9 pm central last night.

FTA: Democrats may have wanted Tucker out at Fox News, but wherever he ends up next, he could become an even bigger problem for them. One can only hope that Murdoch doing exactly what Schumer demanded will backfire on all of them.

Another "conspiracy theory" brought to light. Several wondered why Tucker abandoned reportage of the Jan. 6 tapes? Now we know . . . Rupert (as thought) put the Kai-bosh on them. I guess Chuckie Schumer has something over the Murdochs?

Tucker had become the only one worth watching on Fox News. Feel sympathy for the few on Fox Business like Elizabeth MacDonald, Maria Bartiromo, Varney, and a few others. They will have to live with the swamp creatures on Fox. Bye Bye Fox. This may just be the step which gives me the incentive to cut the Verizon cable.

This is a very dark turn of events. Clearly, it shows that the media sycophants listen and obey the democrat party. We are quickly becoming a government that punishes any speech it does not like. Democrats are doing a little clean up before they have to convince us, once again, that a corrupt incompetent depraved liar who campaigned from his basement received the most votes of any President in history. No one will speak ill of this administration or there will be dire consequences. Got it? Now go shut up and sit down. We’ll let you know when we want your opinion. Something deeply disturbing happened with the firing of Carlson. It matters not a bit if it was a mutual decision, the ramifications of this one decision will resonate with conservatives. He was either fired or his values would not allow him to stay. Regardless, the Democrat media threw the gauntlet down. Obey or you will be cancelled. We have the power and no one is safe. Will Americans accept this blatantly biased political decision or will they fight back and turn their backs on Fox News? These radical leftists are not playing. They are deadly serious about controlling speech. We either grow a spine and abandon them and every entity like them or they will completely control you. What’s it going to be? They are marching us into communism and we had better wake before it’s too late.

They cite "...speculation that his departure may have been connected to the recent settlement with Dominion Voting Systems..." Then they state that "individuals ... who were not authorized to speak...suggested that the decision...,was made directly by Rupert Murdoch...." You know, these two explanations are not incompatible. It was probably both. Rupert and Fox caved to intimidation when they had the resources and the moral high ground to resist it. They could have done something heroic: reaffirmed independent journalism and the public's right to know. They folded shamefully, doubling the tragedy.

So many possibilities. How much money did Dominion get in their lawsuit? If an employee cost you 10 million, would you fire them? Doubt it was just Carlson's call to go after Dominion though. If Carlson was pushed out over the 1/6 footage, it adds further proof we have a tyranny and not a government.

Hebrews 12:27 v.26 At that time His voice shook the earth, but now He has promised, “Once more I will shake not only the earth, but heaven as well.” v.27 The words “Once more” signify the removal of what can be shaken— that is, created things— so that the unshakable may remain. v.28 Therefore, since we are receiving an unshakable kingdom, let us be filled with gratitude, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe.… This is the shaking God has promised that would happen in the Last Days. Evil would become more evil, good would become more solid and there would be a great revelation of hidden corruption. And the Lord's remnant would grow stronger and closer to Jesus. We're praying for Tucker and have been. We know he's been the target of the Evil One for destruction. Also, praying for Charlie Kirk, Dan Bongino and Steve Bannon. They are also in the target range. As for Tucker taking care of his family financially; he has as the world would say, "he has f u money. But Tucker is also a thinking Christian with unshakeable faith and values. Therefore that man is hard to control. God bless him, protect him and use him for this nation's salvation!

The Patriots of America have cast aside Broadcast & Cable for lying to us for many years. But we know stuff and are getting really PO’ed that we have no recourse against the #JihadJunta and the entire Deep State Apparatus. The very lies that have been said about January 6th, the political prisoners taken, the sham lawsuits brought by the Deep State fraud tool Dominion, and the rest of the cheating infrastructure is cause for our anger. We are, America and Liberty loving people around the world, at a crossroad….

They got away with firing O'Reilly. But how many times do they think they can get rid of their stars? I was ambivalent about a lot of Tucker's views but he still made Fox News prime time worth watching. Who do they have to replace him? This has to be the stupidest move of all time by an apparently senile Rupert Murdoch.

Being in high demand, Carlson will earn big bucks wherever he lands, but his days on conventional broadcast television are over. House Republicans are out with a second version of their debt ceiling bill meant to win over GOP holdouts after repeatedly insisting they would not make changes to the legislation. Changes made during a Rules Committee hearing that went until the early hours of Wednesday morning were meant to win over some of the eight-plus holdouts whose votes are needed to get the Limit Save Grow Act through the House. The tweaked version includes changes to ethanol and work requirements provisions -- but in a last-minute dig at the former speaker the bill also now strips $200 in maintenance in Presidio park in San Francisco - Nancy Pelosi's district.

Hundreds of professors at the University of North Carolina signed a public letter Tuesday opposing legislation that would require university students to take courses on America's government and founding documents. The 673 UNC Chapel Hill professors revealed the public letter Tuesday, arguing the new courses and another bill in the North Carolina House of Representatives would constitute an infringement on the university's "academic freedom." The first piece of legislation, House Bill 96, would require students to take a 3 credit-hour course covering America's founding and history. Required reading for the course would include the U.S. Constitution, the Declaration of Independence, the Emancipation Proclamation,

PORTLAND, Ore. – Portland is about to be one of the first cities in the U.S. with blocks dedicated as a zero-emission delivery zone, thanks to a $2 million grant the city received. The Portland Bureau of Transportation announced Tuesday that the money will support creating a 16-block area in downtown where all deliveries must be made using zero-emission vehicles. These vehicles can include electric vans and trucks, cargo bikes or hydrogen-fueled vehicles. The goal is to reduce traffic from heavy trucks in the downtown area. According to PBOT, the pilot program of the zero-emission delivery zone will be located near

Tucker Carlson’s firing from Fox News came after he used vulgar language to describe a network executive, the Wall Street Journal reported. Carlson described a senior Fox News executive as a C-word in a text message obtained by lawyers as part of a defamation lawsuit between the network and Dominion Voting Systems, according to the Journal, which like Fox is part of the Murdoch media empire. In a case settled last week for $787.5m, Fox lawyers reportedly convinced the Delaware judge to redact the message from public filings. Carlson, however, was still reportedly furious the network was not doing enough to protect him.

The fact that Tucker Carlson’s program is ending so abruptly — no farewell show, no final chance to thank the viewers for tuning in, night after night – is an indication that this was not such an amiable separation and that Fox News did not trust their highest-rated host to appear on-air, even for one last time. (Snip) It is unlikely that networks like Fox News can afford to keep loose-cannon hosts anymore.

Yet another iconic brand has embraced the Dylan Mulvaney trend, making him the face of their advertising, and like the other companies, it is also facing a fierce backlash. Mulvaney has already caused consternation with his Bud Light advertisement, which led to a massive backlash and boycott of the company, leading to millions of dollars of lost revenue and the executive responsible for the ad being placed on leave. According to CBS News, Mulvaney has now partnered with the cosmetics giant Maybelline, in a video showing him applying the brand’s products to his face and “getting glam.” Unsurprisingly, this has led to a massive backlash against the company, and people are now calling

When it comes to cross-country travel, many electric vehicle owners have learned to take their vehicles’ range readings with a grain of salt — especially in cold weather. That’s a lesson one man learned the hard way last week when he tried to drive his Rivian electric pickup truck through a rural part of Wyoming — with disappointing results. Tow truck operator Jake Yeaman of Specialty Towing in Laramie shared the story on his Facebook page. “Towed my first EV Today,” he said. “A brand new $90,000 electric pickup from the rest area on South Pass to Rocksprings… “He had charged in Riverton enough to go 120 miles,

President Biden announced his reelection bid Tuesday morning, making “freedom” the focus of his announcement video. “When I ran for president four years ago, I said we’re in the battle for the soul of America. And we still are,” Biden says in the three-minute video. “The question we’re facing is whether in the years ahead we have more freedom or less freedom. More rights or fewer rights. I know what I want the answer to be, and I think you do, too. This is not a time to be complacent. That’s why I’m running for re-election."

Washington governor Jay Inslee signed three gun control bills on Tuesday, including a ban on AR-15s and dozens of other semiautomatic rifles. The new measures will go into effect immediately. In addition to the semiautomatic rifle ban, a ten-day waiting period for all gun purchases will be instituted. There is also a measure to enable the state attorney general or private citizens to sue gun manufacturers and dealers under public-nuisance laws if they negligently allow their guns to be sold to minors or straw purchasers, the Seattle Times reported. “These weapons of war, assault weapons, have no reason other than mass murder,” Inslee said at the signing ceremony.
