Brian Kilmeade, co-host of “Fox & Friends,” addressed the network’s firing of Fox News host Tucker Carlson on Monday night as he hosted Carlson’s former show during the 8 p.m. EST hour.
“As you probably have heard, Fox News and Tucker Carlson have agreed to part ways,” Kilmeade said. “I wish Tucker the best. I’m great friends with Tucker and always will be. But right now, it’s time for ‘Fox News Tonight,’ so let’s get started.”

I knew Tucker was a goner when he got the J6 video. It was just a matter of when. Fox keeps shooting itself in the foot. I stopped watching years ago.

Fox is going to feel severe pain over this and I will be proud to help. This makes them the Bud Light of the news business.

Never did care for Brian. He always seemed like a jock who thinks he’s a political insider. The fact that he needs to announce what great friends he is with Tucker makes me think he isn’t.

O’Reilly says the Board of Directors at Fox are facing personal lawsuits and cut Tucker. Huge decision, top draw both prime time and digital. More diarrhea from the Kilmeade types all through the day & night, now.

Looks like FoxNation got rid of Customer Service along with Tucker. I was "86" (AZ time) in line at 7 pm and waited to number 16 when suddenly no agents available. I have no regrets about getting rid of Fox News and Fox Nation...

Didn’t watch Fox tonight. Won be watching anymore. Murdoch is a fool and when I heard Chuck Schumer say he had a right to object to Tucker Carlson and have him removed from Fox, I actually screamed at the tv. Murdoch and Ryan, Fox News version of Mittens Romney.

Done with FOX. They've gone "Lefty" on us. Kilmeade? Please...he's a "company man."
No O'Reilly, No Rush (Limbaugh), and now no Tucker. The Deep State and the 5th Column continue to
threaten and conspire to remove White Conservative Constitutional Christian men from any platform IF they don't tow the line.. Will watch NEWSMAX from now on. Greg Kelley had "45" on tonight.

Fox News is having its Bud Light moment it appears. I agree with poster #1. Schumer and his fellow democrat scum pressured Fox to can Tucker after he had the balls to make public to J6 videos that had been hidden by Pelosi during her tenure as Speaker of the House. F Fox News!

In addition to all the above - we're expected to accept two-bit comedian Jimmy Failla as a serious news guy. Done with Fox News. I'll have to rely on Kudlow to get my Sandra Smith fix.

Maybe I am dreaming but wouldn’t it be nice if Kilmeade, Hegseth, Doocy, MacDonald, Bartiromo, Varney, Gutfeld and a few others of Fox News and Fox Business would unite and form their own network. At least they could look in the mirror with some self respect.

Kilmeade is like a substitute teacher....he fills in when needed and is adequate to the job but without the presence or depth of the person they're filling in for. He's a morning show kinda guy and I'll just leave it at that.

Of course, Kilmeade was told to read his opening statement regarding Tucker's departure straight from the teleprompter and to add absolutely nothing else as a condition of his continued employment.

Tucker’s removal the day before Biden’s taped “I am not too old to steal another election” video is a worrisome sign that FNC is joining the rest of the “news” media to help FJB. There will surely be less coverage of Biden’s demonic policies, his corruption and the multiple threats we face due to Biden.
Next question is who replaces Tucker in May? Perhaps Susan Rice, who was allegedly fired yesterday by White House. Or, in a bold move, Dylan Mulvaney of Bud Really Lite fame. Or even Paul Ryan, a Fox Director who managed to stay silent in his 90 minute “debate” with VP Biden in 2012

Why in God's name are posters going after Kilmeade, a decent man who was the SOLE person to proclaim his friendship with Carlson. He obviously used Tucker's script and people to do the show on Monday night...what was he supposed to do? Refuse to fill in? In a thankless job? Be fired himself? It is easy to talk tough (and not really read what was said by Klimeade, it appears, but to jump to conclusions) when you don't have your own job on the line. Such brave posters!!!!!!!!! Firing from behind the trees.

Remaining Fox people should have stood with Tucker but were unwilling to risk their lucrative gigs. Any of them could be next. A huge moneymaking enterprise like that can afford to pay some real salaries and must do that to keep people in New York City. That success will end shortly. Kilmeade is a good man but he's no Tucker Carlson.

I would like a number of hosts on Fox to leave because of the Tucker firing. By firing Tucker, it reduces the viewership of every Fox program. I turned on Sportscenter last night instead of watching anything Fox. It's been decades since I watched Sportscenter on ESPN. My 8pm nightly routine will now have to change because Tucker won't be on, and I'm not happy about that at all.

Brian ... and all other FOX on-air talent ,,, are going to read what the company gives them to read (or approves for them to read) on this issue. They know the same thing can happen to them.
Remember, Tucker got his show after Bill O'Reilly was canned. Everybody thought they could never replace BOR's ratings. Everybody was wrong.
This one stinks. It could have been held for a few weeks or months and done later. Now it sounds like Chuck Schumer and Dominion voting machines have the say on who FOX puts on the air. And that's stupid.

Oh, and let's remember -- this is standard procedure in business, be it broadcasting or a bakery.
I'm sure the folks at CNN got the same memo about the departure of Don Lemon. Wonder if he and Tucker will bump into each other at the unemployment office. Sorry, couldn't resist.

Kilmeade? A little history here so please bear with me. Picture it Norfolk VA 2002 me listening to AM talk radio faithfully. Before he retired in my area we had the great talk show host Neal Boortz come on at 10 to noon. Then of course the Great Maha Rushie took over at noon followed by the Black Avenger Ken Hamblin at 3. All awesome hosts. Now we have Brian Kilmeade, Clay Travis & Buck Sexton and Sean Hannity. Now I like Kilmeade when he's on Fox and Friends because it's a lightweight morning news show. His radio show however, is second rate as with the others behind him especially Hannity. Him doing a solo show at 8 isn't worth watching in my opinion. Speaking of Hannity, I'm surprised Paul Ryan and Lachlan Murdoch didn't offer him the primetime slot. It was said that he was jealous of Tucker and is known to be a boss butt kisser since the days of Roger Ailes and Bill Shine. Maybe his unwatchable show will finally be number one in the evening now that Tucker's gone. I doubt it and I won't be tuning in to find out as my days of watching FNC everyday just got close to nonexistent at this point.

If you still have Cable TV, you're wasting your money and time. I was a bit slow to move to streaming, but I very much prefer it. Get yourself a ROKU Express ($30 on Amazon, plugs into your HDMI port). Then sign up for FUBO. That should be all you need. Actually, I don't use FUBO much, I mostly use youtube and rumble. Then tell your cable provider to turn off cable and just keep your internet. Saves a ton of money.
