A $787.5 million settlement has been reached in Dominion Voting Systems' $1.6billion defamation case against Fox News.
After an hours-long delay, Judge Eric Davis entered the courtroom just before 4pm and thanked the jurors as he dismissed them with the simple words, 'The parties have resolved their case.'
After the jury was dismissed attorneys for both parties thanked the court. Judge Davis in turn complimented their professionalism throughout. This brings an end to the contentious case that saw the voting machine company accuse the cable news network of 'giving life' to a 'manufactured storyline' about voter fraud after the 2020 election.

I don't know why they would settle. There was overwhelming evidence in places like Fulton County GA. that the machines had been accessed through the internet and votes were manipulated.

I’m sure the issue here was not the merits of the case but the discovery process. Dominion voting systems was going to be given access to every text message and email sent between every executive and on-air talent at Fox News. I’m sure they felt the content of those messages were worth a settlement regardless of Dominions clear election fraud.

The discovery process is a two way street. Over three quarters of a billion dollars is a lot of clarity.

Guess that they have already tabulated the published votes in the 2024 election. Why even bother to vote.

Every single county of New York State has Dominion machines except three that are totally dominated by Democrats. The evidence is there if you want to look for it.

They didn't want to roll the dice with the jury. They settled for 50%, their assessment of the risk.

I don't like it......but. what are the chances that a NEW YORK CITY jury would find in their favor?
If Fox mgmt was smart, they would re-locate their corporate offices to Jacksonville FL.

Looks like neither party wanted the "discovery" portion out in the public domain? We are so screwed!

Dominion products are very flexible, allowing human interference in many ways. As a result, partisan employees, and internet intruders can affect the security and integrity of an election.

A check that will never be written. By settling no discovery and with Fox throwing in the towel they can both keep rigging elections. This is all to hurt Trump.

It will be interesting to see what Giuliani, Powell and Lindell fork over to settle. This is not a good indicator of any truth to fraud claims relating to Dominion voting machines.

This smells like total cave-in and surrender from Fox. $787 million is a mountain of cash. I hope there is a solid explanation for it.

I asked the question above, "Who's next?" Well, Smartmatic is next; they're suing Faux as well. They're seeking 2.6 billion. Going woke isn't quite working out for Faux it seems.

They settled to save $, it is NOT an admission of guilt.
It is a known fact that Dominion's voting machines have software that allows lots of crooked vote manipulation that is masked as 'maintenance' of the machines...
I would have demanded discovery and forensic analysis of 100% of the Machines software, as well as dissecting numerous machines that WERE USED in 2020.
I'm sure what ever tracking logs that existed have been erased, but manfacturing a voting machine to allow manipulation of the votes for ANY REASON is CRIMINAL!
