Alvin Bragg openly admitted during his election campaign that he would make it a priority, if elected, to prosecute Donald Trump, albeit without bothering to select a law that’s been broken. Bragg is only the next batter up to try and make party politics a crime. He steps to the plate way down in the order following such heavy hitters as the FBI, Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer, Adam Schiff, Leticia James and Merrick Garland.

WASHINGTON — House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer on Friday demanded that Biden family business associate Rob Walker submit to questioning about his role in distributing more than $1 million from China to at least three of President Biden’s relatives.
Subpoenaed bank records indicate Walker, an ex-Clinton administration official, distributed Chinese funds in early 2017 to President Biden’s brother James Biden, son Hunter Biden and daughter-in-law Hallie Biden — with $70,000 going to an unidentified Biden whose first name was not specified.

Idaho Gov. Brad Little signed legislation into law on Friday that added firing squads as an alternative method of execution for the state’s death-row inmates.
The bill—dubbed House Bill 186—stipulates that the form of capital punishment will only be used if the state is unable to obtain the drugs needed to perform lethal injections.
“I have not given up on the state’s ability to require the chemicals,” Little wrote in a transmittal letter (pdf) after signing the bill. “And, I believe the bill I signed into law last year helped expand options that would not have been available without it.”

The parent claims that the Bible violates a Utah law passed in 2022 to ban any books containing “pornographic or indecent” content from Utah school. The leftist filed the compliant in anger over actual pornographic books with cartoon depictions of sex acts being removed for Utah schools.
