Democrats attempted to get journalist Matt Taibbi and Michael Shellenberger to reveal their sources on how they managed to get the Twitter Files during Thursday's hearing about the bias and malpractice of the social media site prior to billionaire Elon Musk buying it.During the hearing and on Twitter, Democrats such as Rep. Stacey Plaskett, who represents the U.S. Virgin Islands, and Rep. Sylvia Garcia (TX) denied they were trying to pressure the pair to reveal their sources, with Garcia saying Taibbi's refusal to say whether Musk was his primary source proved Musk was his source.

Cripes, where were all these folks when stuff like the Pentagon Papers and the CIA scandals were taking place in the 70s and 80s?
As usual, Democrats ask the question -- who do you believe, me or your lying eyes and ears? Problem is, there are a lot who answer , "you, of course."

Don't be surprised that Knotseez use "pressure" as one of their tactics. Attorney General Merrick "Gestapo" Garland has handed them the book.

Those two men were far more intelligent then the people questioning them.

Dems are desperate to change the subject from how the government agencies they control interacted with Twitter executives behind the scenes. Even though both Taibbi and Shellenberger are DEMOCRATS, they are professional journalists doing what they were trained to do. Corrupt agencies and politicians who participated in creating and controlling narratives favorable to the Dem party and the Biden administration are now caught in a scary position. Who could have predicted Elon Musk would step up, buy Twitter, and allow the American people to see what their "leaders" and a private company were doing to them behind their backs? Being able to read the emails for ourselves is a gift, and right on cue the Dems are smearing the messengers.

Oh yes they were. DWS insulted both Taibbi and Shellenberger. Bottom line, Democrats love journalists who reveal stuff they want to be made visible. They hate the contrary. We saw the tapes of the committee meetings DWS, Plaskett and Garcia. You all did your best impersonations of Roland Frieslar.

Democraps LIE then LIE to attempt to cover their LIE, then LIE again if they are called out, then they LIE.
We need a law where IF a politician LIES they are immediately removed from office, PERIOD!

It is a universal truth, if a democrats mouth is moving, he/she is lying. Same is true of some Republicans.

Some of these Dem women (including the brat rep from VI) need to brush up on procedure in meetings, and Mr. Jordan should insist that they do that before being allowed back in the room.

In her Twitter account header she refers to herself as "Rep." Stacey Plaskett. She's either too stupid to know, or too duplicitous to say, that she is a Delegate, not a Representative.

When Plaskett asked Matt a question then rudely turned and talked to her little helper Matt should have stopped talking and waited for her to notice. Then he should have said “ you asked me a question then didn’t listen to my response, that was rude and you owe me an apology “. These men do not have to sit there like they are in front of the school principal after a food fight. Combine all the brain power of those libs and they don’t stack up to those two men.

That Democrats would even assign these blithering idiots to this committee shows that they don’t take it seriously. They don’t believe that weaponizing the government is an issue as long as they’re the ones doing it.

It really doesn't matter at this point...WE have the facts and can make up our own minds as to who is the culprit when it comes to trying to destroy American instincts and knowhow ...WE are not stupid...WE see what happened and thank Elon Musk for his courage...watch your back Elon...they are coming for you...the FBI is going to try to take your records and phones with a 6:00am raid on your home to terrify your family and lead you handcuffed in your underwear to jail....it's their modus operandi....and cnn will accompany them...

There was some great material for Republican campaign ads made this past week thanks to Plaskett, Garcia, and Cori Bush. "Diversity over merit in action."
