Fifth Circuit appellate judge Stuart Kyle Duncan, who was shouted down by Stanford Law School students as administrators looked on in silence, says the protesters behaved like "dogshit."
Now, in an interview with the Washington Free Beacon, Duncan is calling on the school to discipline the students who disrupted his talk and to fire the school’s associate dean of diversity, equity, and inclusion, who stepped in during the event to chastise him and deliver what the judge described as a "bizarre therapy session from hell."

FTA: "Update, 3/10/23, 10:00 PM: Shortly after the publication of this story, the dean of Stanford Law School, Jenny Martinez, said in a statement that the disruption was "not aligned with our institutional commitment to freedom of speech," adding that "the school is reviewing what transpired." She did not indicate whether the students involved in the disruption would be disciplined."
If in fact Jenny had a modicum of integrity, this would have NEVER happened! Ergo her statement is only CYA!

That whole "Yelling FIRE! in a crowded theater" trope...should actually be Yelling ANYTHING in a crowded theater, that deprives others of their rights, of speech, assembly,opinion/thought, safety, property,

He was referring to the way other students were treated. "Don’t feel sorry for me," he said. "I’m a life-tenured federal judge. What outrages me is that these kids are being treated like dogshit by fellow students and administrators."

These people need to be hospitalized. They are not well.
FTA:
Other posters berated Duncan for opposing same-sex marriage, denying "Black Americans the right to vote," and denying "trans people the right to self-determination in court"—an apparent reference to a 2020 opinion in which Duncan referred to a male-to-female child pornographer using he/him pronouns.
Duncan used the wrong pronouns for a "Pornographer" and they have a problem with the Pronouns?? Not the fact the dude is a CHILD pornographer?
As Duncan said, these "law students" will be entering our law system and the Country is going to be in big trouble. We need to get a handle on this NOW.

Good description, IMO. These jerks were symbolically relieving themselves in public just like a dog.
Judge probably doesn't like being challenged, but he is justified in this case. These brainless savages have no business challenging anyone.
Judge better be careful though. Those same brainless savages will call him racist, have him canceled, and removed from office. These people have a fake authority that too many believe is real.

Stanford University was started by a rich old lady and a lunatic who collected fish and preached about the value of Eugenics and sterilization of minorities and people with mental problems. You students have absolutely no room to shout anybody down given your horrible history.

It won’t be long before the elitist schools law grads will not be hirable due to their intolerance. Employers or judges hiring clerks or clients will just hire an attorney who isn’t on a mission. Same with anyone filling out a job app and stating preferred pronouns other than he or she. Why hire trouble?

The up-and-coming generation has a mindset that we over-60 Americans are not able to comprehend. I think about how big this unstoppable dirty snowball will be in 10 years from now. Our future is a dystopia of our own making. Goodbye America - nice while it lasted.

Stanford University people mentioned in the article:
Tirien Steinbach, Dean of Diversity
Jenny Martinez, Dean of Stanford Law School
Jory Steele, Associate Dean of Student Affairs
Holly Parish, Associate Director of Student Affairs
Megan Brown, Student Affairs Coordinator
And one guy who knows how to find the prostate
Not a very diverse group, in my opinion; and therefore, there is no diversity of thought.

truthfully...the Federalist Students were/are treated WORSE than dog shite, or human shite for that matter, both of which are welcome on the streets of the Bay Area instead of being reviled and removed, let alone protested against.

We will have a generation of lawyers and judges, that, in truth, do not practice law.
Shades of Atlas Shrugged.
Judge Duncan, may I introduce you to Judge Narragansett.

The dean's weak statement that the conduct was "not aligned with our commitment to freedom of speech" was pathetic. She should have chastised these students, the majority of whom will likely practice in California, that their conduct was in violation of the State Bar's Rule of Professional Conduct 8.2, the Comment to which notes: "To maintain the fair and independent administration of justice, lawyers should defend judges and courts unjustly criticized. Lawyers also are obligated to maintain the respect due to the courts of justice and judicial officers. (See Bus. & Prof. Code, § 6068, subd. (b).)"
Unfortunately, law students have seen the rude, contemptuous, and confrontational questioning by Democratic members of the Senate Judiciary Committee (made up of lawyers), particularly including Judge (now Justice) Brett Kavanaugh. Their uncivil treatment of him was a national disgrace, but "monkeys see, monkeys do."
