Tucker pulled his punches

Original Article

I watched what I thought was a serious journalist blow the first night of the supposed big J6 tape release. But I couldn't help noticing that he picked stuff we already knew -- and he was WEAK. Where was the video of fed provocateurs and violence coordinators? Capitol Police flash bang and rubber bullet/baton attacks on an unarmed citizen crowd? The deceptions about the barricades? The beatings of unarmed women and lots of unarmed mem, one, Roseann Boyland who died? What was so hard about demonstrating to the public that the J6 was a Reichstag Fire scam?

I had hope that Tucker would take the biggest story of his career and run with it. Alas, he did not. Now, we will be swamped by the state media with a hodgepodge of conflicting videos, perspectives, and narratives so confusing that all but the most discerning will throw their hands up in dispair and surrender. Once again we will have to rely on the intrepid online citizen jounalists for the truth.

Spot on article. Tucker Carlson is a blowhard coward. As Thomas Paine once said "These are the times that try Men's Souls" and Tucker has made his choice. He could have been a true Patriot instead he has revealed himself to be just another phony stooge who is part of the whole rotten Swamp. We keep tuning in every night hoping to see all the Federal Agents and BLM plants who fomented the violence, waiting to see how Pelosi, McConnell, Pence orchestrated what happened but nothing. Just like Hannity, Levin, and the rest of the so-called conservative Fox hosts. Well to look at the positive side Carlson has now revealed his true self. No more Carlson. By the way why aren't Gaetz, Jordan, Marjorie Taylor Green demanding of Speaker McCarthy to release every single minute of the tapes to all of us? Where are they now? Silence of course. We are being played again.

Omg, relax. He's got 40000 hours of tape to go through and turn into consumable tv show. If I was him I'd do the easy stuff, too, to get people interested and believing and then work my way up to the things the sheep never heard before. If he started off with all the heavy hitting stuff he'd have been dismissed already. This is now the number one topic across the country. It's been very effective. If he stops and declares "that's all, folks!" then there is something to complain about. Stop shooting from the hip.

EVERY commissar EVERY diplomat EVERY gov scientist and doctor EVERY cop EVERY Federal Bureau of Intimidation agent. EVERY "news" talking head EVERY avenue of information. Our lives are lived in a cattle herd, driven by forces that don't answer to us. We PLEAD for honesty and fairness and all we get is the shaft. WHEN is this going to stop? HOW is this going to stop? ALL the games (elections) are rigged, and even if the candidate you wanted gets in, he/she is a lying cheat. WE must end this....

I noticed that Tucker Carlson came on strong about the released tapes, but what we saw were a few seconds of a guy in the hallway parading in a Viking costume and a hi-lighted view of officer Sicknick in apparent good health...these scenes endlessly repeated. Thousands of hours of tape and we get only two minutes? Oh, the Viking costume? Vikings did not wear helmets with horns jutting out like Hagar the Horrible or a Vikings football mascot. That was the idea of a German opera costume designer in the 1840s. FJB .

This is more of a statement about Fox news than it is Tucker Carlson. Carlson bowed to pressure from Murdoch and the deep state so he could keep his great gig at Fox. Now we know...nobody at Fox will be allowed to keep their journalistic integrity intact if it threatens the democrat/Communist/Deep State cabal. This incident only reinforces my decision to stop watching any Fox programs since they helped enable the 2020 election steal.

I don't see it that way at all...IF he had done what some suggest he would have been painted as rabidly/radically pandering to violence....instead he should calming, calm, peaceful, and even friendly bits of interaction, as a 1st tranch of the 40,000 hours. His veiwership numbers demonstrate that was the correct choice. Message means nothing if no one ever hears/sees it. He WAS going to get attacked by the left no matter what, having them attack him over innocuous stuff makes THEM look partisan, petty, and dishonest....reducing the publics confidence in them, opening more peoples minds to alternative News/Views...having a larger potential audience/commentary support base going forward. He came across/comes across as amiable for the most part...They come across as mean/angry/demanding/despots.

Tucker is a showman. He is starting with the less controversial video and building up to the serious government illegalities. He is probably putting the best of it together for one of his pay-to-see podcasts. I too expected better since he was awarded the exclusive. That stupid laugh of his has got to go.

One additional comment. The author and posters can comment all they want from the sidelines but I am looking at it from a different angle. How about asking a J6 prisoner how he feels about Kevin McCarthy or Tucker Carlson. Some of these prisoners are now putting their "plea" deals on hold. It is easy to criticize, berate, belittle Kevin McCarthy or Tucker Carson as long as you are on the other side of the prison cell. I have a feeling the J6 prisoners are THANKFUL for any effort coming from Kevin McCarthy or Tucker Carlson.

41,000 hours of video, and all we get is about five minutes of it. Most of which we've already seen. I like Tucker, but I was left with, "Is that it?" while watching the program. All Tucker did was reinforce the notion that those who think Fox News is no better than MSNBC or CNN might be right.

Tucker got the whole country talking. He was strategic, and he probably knew he might be stopped so he started with topics that will set off a slow burn. Maybe the way to bring a fortress down when in fact your megaphone is the legal property of others, is what he did, and not try to assault every square inch at the same time. We would be wiser to think about his strategy, than advise each other and others that those who have given all their credibility to our cause, are cowards and traitors, and nothing is pure except a disorganized run on everything at once. p.s., # 11, Ray Epps, is that you? Nothing is good enough, everybody is rotten and weak and what would purify the nation is a futile mass run on everything at once?

Good for McCarthy for giving the videos to Tucker. Good for Tucker for giving us a sampling of what happened on January 6, and good for McCarthy for now saying that he will give them to others as well. Maybe that was their strategy. Unless you are privy to everything that Tucker is experiencing because of his courage to show what he did, you really can't make a judgment. Put yourself in his shoes.

Tucker and Fox News have huge legal complications, if they issue something incorrectly, especially with their incomplete knowledge of what is occurring on the tapes, and the necessity of releasing only segments in a program like Tucker Carlson. McCarthy should recognize this, and release all the tapes to the public, for the public to form their own opinions. J6 lawyers should have access to all the tapes to defend their clients.

It’s a bit early to jump to conclusions, imo. There may be things going on behind the scenes that will become clearer in a timely manner. Some of US were already aware of the content shown this week. Many others were not. New tapes were released by McCarthy. There is a process involved in airing a program. This has already shown itself to be a hard battle against an entrenched evil. This time in our country is a time for fervent prayer to our Omniscient, Omnipresent, Omnipotent God, & encouragement & support for those who are in positions to do the most good for the country. Letting expectations be known is necessary. Being wary is paramount. But, is attacking those who are trying to help, without fully understanding circumstances of what is happening and why, really beneficial to the cause? What has been seen of the full force of power used against DJT, as well as what we may not know of it, should provide reason for some patience, at least. There have been some among us here who have begun to be harshly critical of Trump, even after how hard he fights for US & seeing what he and his family have endured because of it. Can’t we rally to include encouragement and support along with the criticism if we perceive what we believe to be weakness in the ones on the front lines of this vital battle? May God continue to reveal true enemies and help US to defeat them. Pray without ceasing.

If this was a 'to be continued' situation, there would have been a declaration of his intent to continue. At the very least, I expected him to offer an explanation for the change in programming. Instead, silence. Is he trying to make up his mind about how far he will go in the face of the threats? Holding his cards close to the vest to keep the opposition guessing? Is he looking for a soft place to land or a way to continue if he exposes more tape and gets fired? Is he sorry he started down this road and hoping we will all be satisfied with what was seen so far? Or, maybe hoping we will all just forget? Is he just another Fox News host pretending to be conservative for the ratings but backing away from any danger of the mask coming off? I suspect in the next week or two we will see the real Tucker Carlson.

Frankly, I was disappointed with Tucker’s presentation and hoped that there would be a series coming out, but evidently that’s it. If this is the best he has, then let’s not waste our time with more. If for some other reason Carlson is biding his time to release the rest, I would understand but would be disappointed. We can handle it. The American people are strong and we are not snowflakes, we can handle the truth. We just need to see what went on that day and the government wants that hidden. Tucker had a golden opportunity to set the record straight and I would think the journalist in him would compel him to stand up for truth especially in the face of this oppressive government. Democrats are serious though. They will hurt you any way they can physically, financially, and any other way they can think of. Look how they have treated the J6 political prisoners. Schumer was right they do have six ways to Sunday to get back at you. Is that Tucker’s concern? Does he fear being cancelled? Fired? Harassed? He has seen personally what they will do. #18, I am right there with you regarding that laugh. The biggest beef I have is with Tucker’s maniacal laugh. He can be discussing the most serious subject and he goes off and that laugh sounds like someone in an insane asylum. It just thoroughly squashes the seriousness of the discussion. It drives me crazy. We are in the most desperate and worrisome political era I have ever witnessed and every show Tucker cracks up over something when a smile or a small chuckle would be appropriate, but no, we get full blown crazy. I love to laugh as much as anyone, but when you are trying to come across as a serious journalist taking on the most serious stories in modern history, let’s tone the laugh down a bit. It is distracting and frankly, inappropriate.

Love him or hate him, Tucker Carlson has become the most important political analyst of our era. (snip) Last night, he began his top-rated hour-long program with the following startling statement: “You’re going to get a hot war with Russia – and China – whether you want one or not.” He followed with analysis of the Black Sea drone incident and the calls for retaliation and escalation from Lindsey Graham and “his friends in the war party” that would likely lead to outright war. And wartime, he noted at the end of the segment, leads to extraordinary suppression of political dissent.

One tries to read widely on the state of the Ukraine war, though it’s extremely difficult to cut through the fog of propaganda and obvious lies. But slowly, the picture of a determined, slow-moving, grinding, painful Russian victory emerges. Ukrainian casualties are almost certainly at unbearable, unsustainable levels. Closest guesses are in the range of 250,000 KIA, orders of magnitude greater than Russia’s, which draws from a vastly larger population. Ukraine is losing a generation of its male youth, all to prop up a declining US planetary hegemony.

Kamala Harris's verbal utterances are bizarre, repetitive, and often not completed. So, they make up an ending to the story and then perhaps flip into a semantically weird ending. Harris often simply repeats her first sentence. But no one at the emotional meeting - where residents burst into song and begged to be made 'whole' - asked how the struggling, debt-addled city might pay for it. After months of near-silence and innuendo, Florida Gov. and GOP presidential hopeful Ron DeSantis decided to speak about Ukraine, removing all doubt about his position. While his statement on Tucker Carlson’s Fox News show makes a handful of valid points, it is ridden with a fundamental misunderstanding of the war and US geopolitical interests. First, the good. DeSantis is correct to criticize the Biden administration’s lack of clear objectives in its support for “as long as it takes,” which is a recipe for a long and intractable conflict — which Americans would be right to reject.

On Tuesday, Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) appeared on FNC’s “Hannity” to react to the alleged Russian jet-U.S. drone collision near Crimea over the Black Sea earlier in the day. The South Carolina U.S. Senator asked how former President Ronald Reagan would have handled it and suggested the United States take a more forceful approach with its response.“They shot down our drone. What should our answer be?” host Sean Hannity asked.“Well, we should hold them accountable and say that if you ever get near another U.S. flying in international waters, your airplane would be shot down,” Graham responded. “What would Ronald Reagan do right now? He would start shooting Russian planes down

Some electric vehicle (EV) manufacturers are scrapping the AM radio from their cars, claiming safety concerns. Although conservative talk radio dominates AM radio ratings, it is also considered a critical safety tool, as it is one of the primary ways that federal, state, and local officials communicate with the public during natural disasters and other emergencies. Automakers such as Ford and Tesla have ditched the AM radio from their newer EV models, arguing that the motors on EVs interfere with AM frequencies, creating buzzing and signal fading, according to a report by the Wall Street Journal.

Greta “Damien” Thunberg was forced to delete a tweet predicting the world could no longer be saved in 2023. So why did she delete this tweet? Because we’re already a quarter of the way through 2023, and if the world can no longer be saved, if it’s too late to reverse climate change (which is a hoax), Greta and her fascist agenda are no longer relevant. After all, if it’s too late to save the world, we might as well party on, right? Here’s what happened… In June of 2018, the high school dropout tweeted a quote from an article predicting, “climate change [which is a hoax] will wipe out all of humanity

On March 7, a draft research report was released, co-authored by Sean Kirkpatrick, director of the Pentagon’s All-Domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO), and Abraham Loeb, chairman of Harvard University’s astronomy department. The report discusses the physical limitations of unidentified aerial phenomena and suggests that aliens may be visiting our solar system and deploying smaller probes similar to NASA’s planetary exploration missions. Dr. Kirkpatrick is a highly experienced expert in scientific and technical intelligence.

Amid the litany of weather reports and coverage of a U.S. drone being downed in the Black Sea after colliding with a Russian jet and recent woke banks going under, Wednesday’s CBS Mornings made it interesting when they spent a few minutes fawning over San Francisco moving closer to offering $5 million, guaranteed incomes of $97,000, and homes for the price of $1 to Black residents as reparations. This was despite the fact that, as they admitted, a Hoover Institution estimate found it could cost San Franciscans of other races (and presumably those in poverty) $600,000 in new taxes. Talk about a case of mass racial arson.

Pentagon officials said in a draft document last week that aliens could be visiting our solar system and releasing smaller probes like missions conducted by NASA when studying other planets. A draft research report authored by Sean Kirkpatrick, the director of the Pentagon’s All-Domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO), and Abraham Loeb, chairman of Harvard University’s astronomy department was released on March 7 and focuses on the physical constraints of unidentified aerial phenomena. “…An artificial interstellar object could potentially be a parent craft that releases many small probes during its close passage to Earth, an operational construct not too dissimilar from NASA missions,” the report read.

Last month a Vermont Christian high school forfeited a girls basketball game after they were scheduled to compete against a team that included a boy who identifies as a girl. Now that school has been banned from competing in any other competitions. Townhall reported on the incident that involved a scheduled tournament game against Long Trail School on February 21. “We withdrew from the tournament because we believe playing against an opponent with a biological male jeopardizes the fairness of the game and the safety of our players,” Vicky Fogg, the head of MVCS, said in a statement.

In a joint press conference with Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin on Wednesday, General Mark Milley, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, attempted to deescalate when asked if Russia’s downing of a U.S. drone was an act of war. Both Austin and Milley committed to continue flying and operating wherever international law allows, calling upon Russian leaders to operate their military aircraft in a safe, professional, and nonaggressive manner. The incident Tuesday involved a Russian Su-27 aircraft striking the propeller of a U.S. MQ-9 Reaper drone, which U.S. officials said was on a routine mission in international airspace when two Russian jets attempted to intercept it. The unmanned drone was diverted

On Monday, the official POTUS account on Twitter posted a photo of a note allegedly written by a child — rife with grammatical and spelling errors for full effect — who was concerned about the alleged gender pay gap.“Dear Presitent Biden,” the letter begins. “I just wanted to tell something not fair to ladies. Men are getting more money then girls. I think you should fix this since you’re the presitent. Even I’m a child and I think we should do something.” (Emphasis in the original.) And it was signed, “From: Charlotte.” Whichever Biden staffer posted the picture of the letter tweeted along with it, “Charlotte, I couldn’t agree more.

New York Attorney General Letitia James (D) will host a drag queen story hour for children in Manhattan this month, along with several other locally-elected Democrats. According to the New York Post, the event on March 19 is co-sponsored by Drag Story Hour NYC, a nonprofit organization that receives federal funding that “enables them to send drag performers to public schools and libraries to interact with children as young as 3.” On Instagram, James boasted that she is “proud” to host the four-hour long event.
