A federal appeals judge appointed by Donald Trump has demanded an apology from Stanford Law School after he was invited to speak, only to be berated by a pious dean while woke students shouted abuse at him. Judge Kyle Duncan, from the fifth circuit of appeals, was ambushed by associate dean of equity, diversity and inclusion Tirien Steinbach during a discussion Thursday night. But she then launched into an impassioned six minute speech - which she had written down - condemning his life's work. Steinbach - a former ACLU lawyer who previously defended free speech - initially claimed Duncan had a right to express his views.

Former President Donald Trump has “no plans” to testify in the grand jury investigation into his involvement in the $130,000 hush payment made to former pornstar Stormy Daniels during the 2016 presidential election, according to his lawyer.
“We have no plans on participating in that proceeding,” Trump attorney Joe Tacopina told ABC News on Monday. “Decision needs to be made still. There’s been no deadline set, so we’ll wait and see.” (Snip) The case involves a payment that former Trump attorney Michael Cohen, who pled guilty to felony charges related to the payment, made to Daniels during the presidential race.
A program that will send $500 monthly to 305 families in Sonoma County, California, is set to begin in two days.
The Pathway to Income Equity pilot program selected 305 out of 6,450 applicants. To be eligible, applicants had to have at least one child under 6 years of age, be affected in some way by the COVID-19 pandemic, and have a household income of no more than 185% above the federal poverty level, according to the Sonoma County Administrator's Office. The program is partially an experiment to see how guaranteed income affects impoverished families.
