Meeting Military Recruitment Goals

Original Article

Recently we’ve heard arguments that the failure of the military to meet its recruitment goals is a product of recruitment policy. Politics are also held to play a supporting role. But these only address the surface issues needing adjustment. The real cause is more complicated and rooted in the last thirty years of constant international strife. The 17-24-year-old populace is the focus in recruiting. This is traditionally where new military personnel are found. So what have these people been bombarded with their whole lives? Constant combat, bloody house-to-house fighting against a foe who seeks death as a reward, detailed accounts of every death, never-ending rotations through

And dont forget it was all for nothing. We have not defended this country since 1945, but we've been spending and defending and dying in lots of other peoples' countries since then; countries that hate us. Maybe today's kids caught onto the scam a lot quicker than we did.

When I was in, I encouraged young people I met to join. Now? No. America's military is designed to fight wars in other countries. Because the dirty little secret is that continental America is completely immune and safe from any sort of "invasion". America's shores can be defended by a handful of submarines and Reserve and National Guard formations. Nobody has the logistical ability to come and get us. We can be a big Switzerland, if we want. Or do you like sending off youngsters from Ohio or Georgia to die in wars that, whether we win or lose, have no impact on daily life in America whatsoever?

This sums it up starkly: “I spent 26+ years in green, so I know what the military can do for you and how it can help make you a better person. That military is gone.” Dead and buried. This is not a country to shed blood for anymore. There is no longer any honor in serving. Anyone who signs his life away joining is a fool. I write as a 76-year-old man whose great-grandfathers fought honorably in the Civil War. Whose two brothers served. One passed away. I couldn’t serve due to partial deafness, but wanted to join badly in ‘65. I loved this once-great country all my life. Now; I’m just counting the days to the end.

Nobody wants to look at the Obama purges that led to the advancement of lapdogs and yes men who have been running the military. The troops found out in a heartbeat who they could trust when it came to their safety and security when the lapdogs and yes men publicly went WOKE. Left behind troops, top notch military fighters discharged for not wanting to be lab rats. Worst of all has been the installation of so called diversity and equity "officers" who mimic the political officers of the USSR installed at unit levels to insure purity of thought. How's that working out over there and how is that working out in our military. Anyone really wanting an answer to recruitment need look no farther than the civilian base from which future troops are recruited. Far too many are snowflakes starting right in high school. They are already indoctrinated in anti-Americanism and wokeness.

Truthful article and very insightful posts. Anyone who has served in the military before the stupid and unnecessary Gulf Wars can easily see the difference. The followers of Mohammed have been at war with civilization for fourteen centuries. Every time they are almost eradicated, they surrender, repopulate and come back again, just like locusts. Peace is not possible when robots have been taught to kill everybody not exactly like them for no other reason. People who refuse to educate themselves on real history make the same mistakes over and over and over. Citizens of military age today have been coddled and spoiled to the point that their main concerns are safe spaces, no burden of responsibility, no respect for law and order and their country, no concern for others and no faith in God. Their lives are one big party. Why should they work or serve in the military when everything is given to them for free? When America is attacked by a real enemy all they have to do is raise a white flag and everything will be fine. We are at a point where we still have choices. We won't be there for long. The boxcars will be arriving soon.

With the cabal of misfit frauds fronting the Military Medals Milley and AA Austin I wouldn't put on a uniform and go to war for the likes of fraud Biden, Harris or Nancy Pelosi. I did it once because I was drafted, I loved my country and thought it was the right thing to do. I still love this country but not the government as it stands today. Good people were thrown out of the military for not being vaxxed, some just for being Trump supporters or tossed for CRT racist move. Now we see other people killed for Joe Biden and other warmongers who enjoy sending other people's children to war. Send Hunter Biden first we'll see how that works out. FJB

One way to end the warmongering is if young men wake up and realize our corrupt government is using them for political purposes totally unrelated to keeping Americans safe. I think this has already occurred to a great degree, so that what the military gets are people who don't think they have any other options, which may explain why Biden is trying to destroy the US economy.

Radical left turns on woke New York Times 1 reply

Under attack by transgender radicals from inside and outside the paper, top editors of The New York Times face a problem so difficult, I feel sorry for them. Well, almost. The hesitation is warranted because the editors have only themselves to blame. After abandoning standards of fairness to push a crazy woke agenda, they are suddenly discovering that appeasing the far left is impossible. The crash course in common sense comes with the lesson that the more you give the radicals, the more they want. And they don’t ask, they demand and make threats.

As Lightfoot seeks a second term in the upcoming February 28 election, some business leaders concerned about the continuing crime wave say they don't think she is up to the task.  In rallies on Saturday, Lightfoot told the South and West side residents who don't support her to not bother voting at all. Chicago's South Side is a historically-black area. 'Any vote coming from the South Side for somebody not named Lightfoot is a vote for Chuy Garcia or Paul Vallas,' Lightfoot said.
