Republicans are calling out the FBI and the Justice Department (DOJ) after a leaked internal FBI memo revealed that the agency had plans to label Catholics as 'potential terrorists." A coalition of 20 GOP state attorneys general, led by Virginia attorney general Jason Miyares, is demanding answers from FBI Director Christopher Wray and U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland, saying they are "horrified" to learn that the FBI's Richmond office circulated a report linking "radical traditionalist Catholics" to white supremacists and violent extremism.

On Friday, the U.S. Supreme Court (SCOTUS) will consider for a second time whether to hear Raland J. Brunson v. Alma S. Adams, a case that alleges Congress had a duty to investigate claims of fraud and impropriety in the 2020 national election, and that member votes against doing so amounted to treason. While some of the reasoning and suggested remedies in the complaint seem hyperbolic, it is aimed at accountability for those in leadership positions who are derelict in their duty to protect the American electoral system from manipulation.

On Tuesday, Biden falsely claimed that inflation, including food prices, is on the mend. However, the inflation report revealed that prices increased during January.
"Today's report on inflation shows the good is that inflation in America is continuing to come down," Biden claimed. "Food prices at the grocery store are coming down."
However, the price of grocery store items rose 0.5 percent since the beginning of the year. Over the past 12 months, food prices went up 10.1 percent.

U.S. intelligence officials were tracking the spy balloon that was shot down earlier this month since it lifted off from the south coast of China, U.S. officials said Tuesday.
According to U.S. officials, after takeoff, the spy balloon drifted east in the direction of Guam and Hawaii and then went north to Alaska and entered U.S. airspace on Jan. 28.
