Black Republican hits back at Democrats

VERY tense border hearing

Lawmakers clashed as Democrats again accused Republicans of being racist for focusing committee hearings on the southern border crisis. The second hearing for the Oversight Committee in the 118th Congress on Tuesday zeroed-in on handling of migration at the southern border – it was the second hearing focusing on the migration crisis, coming just one week after the Judiciary hearing on the same topic. Chairman James Comer of Kentucky defended the hearing, noting that the powerful Oversight Committee's job is to make sure Congress is addressing issues properly, and that the hearing Tuesday is the first time the panel is hearing from government workers responsible for securing the border.

The leftist Democrats are a joke when it comes to mass uncontrolled illegal immigration as they claim to be looking out for their Black American constituents. In reality mass uncontrolled illegal immigration is certainly adverse to the welfare of Black Americans, as every time an illegal alien is hired into an American job at a lower wage than American workers of any race can accept and maintain their traditional U.S. standard of living. So common sense will tell you that if illegal aliens were not in the country to get hired to American jobs, many of those jobs instead would be available to Black and other American workers at a living wage.

The DNC is all about race baiting and divisive class warfare. Pitting classes against each other was a mainstay in communist revolutions, and the DNC uses that playbook in their political agendas.

The black conservative radio host appears to want to address some race issues in the U.S. from the conservative perspective.

WASHINGTON — A trio of former bigwigs at Twitter told the House Oversight Committee Wednesday they could not recall major facts about the decision to suppress The Post’s bombshell October 2020 stories on Hunter Biden’s laptop — though one claimed the decision was based in part on the social media giant’s own echo chamber rather than the demands of federal law enforcement. Under questioning led by Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio), former Twitter deputy general counsel James Baker, ex-head of trust and safety Yoel Roth and former policy director Vijaya Gadde took turns deflecting allegations of “collusion” between the FBI and Twitter to censor The Post.

President Joe Biden said Wednesday that he didn't believe the House GOP's probe into his son Hunter and brother James' foreign business dealings would have an impact on his presidency.  'The public's not going to pay attention to that. They want these guys to do something,' Biden said. 'It's not going to go very far.' The president sat down for a wide-ranging post-State of the Union interview with PBS NewsHour's Judy Woodruff, which included the admission that he hadn't made a final decision to run in 2024. 'I haven't made my decision, that's my intention, but I have not made that decision firmly yet,' he said.

Former President Donald Trump is ahead of his potential 2024 Republican challengers by double digits, a Tuesday Morning Consult survey found. The survey showed Trump leading his closest potential challenger, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R), by 18 percent, garnering 49 percent support compared to the governor’s 31 percent.  No other potential challenger comes close, as former Vice President Mike Pence falls to third place with just seven percent support. Former U.S. ambassador to the U.N. Nikki Haley, who is reportedly slated to announce a presidential bid this month, comes in fourth place with three percent support, followed by former Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY) with two percent and Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX)

On Wednesday, former top executives at Twitter appeared before the House oversight committee to give testimony regarding the social media giant’s management of information related to the interference of the 2020 election and Joe Biden’s son. The hearing marks the start of the agenda of the newly-Republican controlled House, highlighting their focus on long-standing claims that major tech companies exhibited a bias against conservatism. At one point during the hearing, Republican Rep. Lauren Boebert appeared to catch former Twitter executive Yoel Roth in a lie. The moment came as Boebert was discussing how her Twitter account had previously been suspended.

The numbers are in for Joe Biden’s State of the Union address on Tuesday evening, and they aren’t good. According to CNN’s post-speech poll, Biden’s divisive, dishonest spectacle scored the lowest ratings of any State of the Union since 1998, with just 34 percent saying they had a “very positive” reaction.(Tweet) The press, including CNN, did their best to spin the numbers in Biden’s favor, choosing to focus on the topline number showing 72 percent had a positive reaction. Context is everything, though, and the context of that number is that it’s actually very low compared to other modern presidents, including Donald Trump. Audiences traditionally have a largely positive reaction

Regardless how complex or critical the issue, I could always count on Rush Limbaugh’s entirely rational and moral analysis, delivered by an apex professional with genuine compassion, even for those with whom he disagreed. He was ensconced behind that golden EIB microphone; a master of ideas and argument. From his lofty height, he engaged with every thorny problem with an equanimity that drew a placid sagacity from an ocean of experience, and confidence. After all, Rush was “documented almost always right 99.7% of the time.” He was a compass that always pointed the precise bearing to truth. He was the constitutionalists’ loadstar.

Somehow, the weirdest thing that happened at the State of the Union was not Joe Biden proclaiming that he’ll veto any legislation that raises the cost of “frisizhnjubs,” a line I’m still trying to figure out. Instead, it involved a pre-speech kiss delivered by Jill Biden to Kamala Harris’ husband, Douglas Emhoff. Honestly, I have no idea what happened here. When I first saw that, I tried to rationalize it. Maybe non-family members kiss on the lips like that routinely and I just missed it all this time. But the more I think about it, the more I don’t think I missed it. Rather, it’s just incredibly strange.
