Alinsky’s “Rules for Radicals” apply to all radicals, including those who take the radical position that patriotic constitutional conservativism is a good thing. Conservatives need to enshrine his sixth rule: “Make the enemy live up to its own book of rules.” That’s the wonderful move the descendants of T.C. Williams made when the University of Richmond deleted his existence. (snip) his family donated $25,000 ($803,999 in 2022 dollars) (snip) by 1920, the University of Richmond renamed the law school. Up until last year, it was The T.C. Williams School of Law.

FTA: "He also castigates the Board members for their ahistoric ignorance and arrogance in believing that they could have created a better society from humankind’s inception, making all other people throughout time moral midgets."
The Dim mantra: "we're stunningly wonderful, aren't we?"

This is a good start but the next step is to close down both Yale and Vanderbilt Universities and turn them into Section 8 housing for the descendants of slaves. Elihu Yale was a slave trader and Cornelius Vanderbilt owned numerous plantations. Both universities are horrendously woke and they need to suffer the consequences of their own wokeness.

A strongly worded letter isn't going to do a bit of good.
They need to file a lawsuit.

#2 - that's reparations I can agree with. Make sure they toss in their endowments as well.

Remove the name, take the money. This will force the university to either reveal their hypocrisy and absurdity, or show the bankruptcy and idiocy of their woke philosophy.

Nice demands, but what's to keep the University from telling this family to go pound sand?

#6 and others, I'm not a lawyer, and can't cite the cases, but the courts have ruled that a school can do whatever it wants with donations, no matter what promises were made. (I beieve Hershey was involved in some of the cases. He believed in donating money to help white male orphans.)

From Find-A-Grave, here's a bio of Thomas C. Williams, Sr. born VA 14 Aug 1831, died VA 2 Apr 1889 (sorry, I don't know how to shorten the address):
https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/17081917/thomas-c.-williams?_gl=1*1qt6yk9*_ga*MTA0ODcyNTcwOC4xNjYxNzg5NDcy*_ga_4QT8FMEX30*MTY3NTI2OTI1NC45NC4xLjE2NzUyNzQ0NDguMTguMC4w*_ga_B2YGR3SSMB*ZTQ1NDg4ZjAtM2M0Mi00MmYzLWEzNzUtNjViZTc1MjczNmNkLjExMS4xLjE2NzUyNzQ0NDkuMTguMC4w
Looking at what I can find on Ancestry.com, Thomas and brother Adolph were tobacconists (I'd call them tobacco manufacturers) and both still lived at home with their father, Jesse, older brother Elisha (both originally brick-layers) and other family members on the 1860 census, Henrico Co, District 3, Virginia.
Looking at the 1860 Census Slave Schedule, it looks like Jesse had 15 slaves and Elisha had five. (Unusually for records I've looked at, all were mature adults, except a 14-year-old boy, and only 4 women.) T.C. was also a friend and business partner of James Thomas (if I got the right one, 55 slaves). However, there is no indication on that schedule that T.C., himself, owned any slaves.
So, University of Richmond School of Law, guilt by association now, is it?

I would close the rest of the ivy league schools, too. And Oberlin College in Ohio. These indoctrination centers don't belong in this country.

More decedents of "cancelled" historical figures should do the same. These colleges don't want their names, then don't sully their institutions with "tainted" money. Claw it all back. The statues that southern cities put away into storage, those families should just retrieve them and put them up on their own front lawns. The "left" has been giving patriotic Americans the proverbial middle finger for sixty years; give it back to them with both hands. I'm done with it all; slavery reparations, black lives matter, open borders to the world's wretched, recycling, climate change, plastic bags, masks, hand sanitizer, outrage for outrage sake.
My new motto and response to anything lefty, "Let's not and say we did. You're in my way."

There will always be self appointed carries of their truth...it is true...make the ruling elite live by their rules and WE will finish the job...as testified by mayor of New York...he doesn't know what to do with the illegals aliens who are clogging the upscale hotels with flith and drugs....and soros goons showed up with their umbrellas to demonstrate....sounds desperate to me...
