All is not well for Ukraine

The delivery of tanks, advanced air defense systems and potentially long-range ground-launched bombs may be a response to Ukraine’s dire requests, but it also brings with it a new load of problems. These hastily and urgently provided supplies indicate that all is not well in Kiev and that it is closer than ever to losing the war with Russia. (snip)The US decision to ship upgraded nuclear bombs to Europe also will convince the Russians that tactical nuclear war may be NATO’s response if Ukraine collapses. Compared with the US and NATO, Russia has a massive arsenal of tactical and strategic nuclear weapons.

Will they now stop calling those of us who knew this was another bad situation for our United States “Putin lovers”? How mindless. All rah-rah and no memories of follies past. No serious thinking. Like watching thoughtless little children run their trikes into the street...

Fools all. Many of us spotted the reality of the Ukraine war from the beginning, just as we spotted the reality of Covid-19, from the beginning. Those who think they can beat Russia have never studied history. The reality of the situation is that the Global Governing Elite believe that they are invincible. In this situation, they have bitten off more than they can chew, and may have flown too close to the sun.

So it turns out installing a corrupt, senile sociopath as President of the most powerful country on Earth really is the best way to destroy civilization.

From Mark Wauck: Stephen Bryen is as Deep State as they come: Center for Security Policy Senior Fellow Stephen Bryen is a leading expert in security strategy and technology. Dr. Bryen has 50 years of experience in government and industry. Had hoped to cross the Rainbow Bridge without glowing in the dark. Don't mind dying if it's for a good cause. But the Borscht Belt Hatfields vs the McCoys isn't it. The Ukraine has no strategic significant to MY country the USA. By sending billions of dollars in aid and war materials to the Ukraine all we have done is prolong the bloodshed and property destruction. So why is The Vegetable giving carte blanche to the Z man. Simple. It is a distraction away from the chaos at our border. our economy in the tank, crime out of control, and our nation turning into a banana republic. Plus the Ukraine is vital to the Bidet Crime Syndicate. No need to listen to Quid Pro Joe's State of the Union address. As long as he is around it is the pits.

Putie and the russkies have won this war of attrition. It will become more apparent after a few hundred thousand lives have been lost. Look for the war to end by mid-year. Look for biden the cheater to slow-walk the surrender to russkie forces. That makes it two in a row for him. Look for biden the cheater to prepare for war in Iran and China afterwards. It amazes me how medical science has kept this vegetable on his feet this long.

Num 8 is right! We're feeding the Military Industrial Complex, per President Eisenhower's warning in his final address. Like it or not, the defense industry is America's largest money maker, selling military equipment to allies and developing new hardware for our own forces. Unfortunately, the Democrats keep giving away our newest, secret hardware to our enemies forcing us to spend billions more to develop newer and better capabilities. Biden just did that in Afghanistan. Clinton did it in Serbia when a F-16 and F-117 were shot-down doing stupid ill-planned missions and giving new onboard defensive hardware to the enemy. Same is happening in Ukraine, this time were giving it away to the Russians who will either capture it in a battle or buy the hardware directly from the corrupt Ukranian forces on the black market.

They say that NATO including the USA sent all sorts of modern military equipment and weapons systems into Ukraine. What would happen to all that military material if the Russians prevail militarily? If that were to occur, would the situation arise where China ended up with a lot of top flight NATO and USA weapons systems to reengineer to the future military benefit of China and their current partner Russia?

While most corporate media coverage of last week’s Republican National Committee (RNC) meeting was devoted to the contested leadership race between Ronna McDaniel and Harmeet Dhillon, the organization’s conference yielded a significant win for election integrity. During the meeting, RNC members unanimously passed a resolution rejecting the use of ranked-choice voting (RCV) in U.S. elections. In an RCV system, voters rank candidates in order of preference. If no candidate receives a majority of first-choice votes in the first round of voting, the last-place finisher is eliminated, and his votes are reallocated to the voter’s second-choice candidate. Such a process continues until one candidate receives a majority of votes.

On the literal eve of a House vote to end the COVID emergency through legislation, the White House announced they would end the COVID-19 Emergency Declaration on May 11th. [pdf here] The managers of Biden knew they would face a bipartisan vote to end the power of the dictatorial fiat known as the COVID emergency, so they quickly rushed to give Democrats in congress cover for voting against the legislative end. In the end this is all a matter of pure politics and posturing for narrative control, because the Democrat controlled Senate is not going to take up the House bills

Important and laudable as it was at the time (1975), we must conclude that the Senate’s vaunted “Church Committee,” under Sen. Frank Church (D-Idaho), ultimately failed in its mission to reform the CIA, FBI, IRS, and the National Security Agency (NSA) anywhere near permanently. Now, 48 years later, we’re in a similar, and arguably worse, situation with the same—and more—three-letter agencies, the only serious difference being that this time Democrats are trying to cover things up while back then it was largely the Republicans. I hesitate to use Wikipedia, given its reflexive bias, but its summary of what the Church group found seems accurate:
