As a white child, I not only grew up in abject poverty and found myself homeless often, but also living in majority black projects from time to time as my family was evicted from 34 homes by the time I was 17 years of age. With some of those moves, I was either the only white child in my class or one of the few. During those years, single black moms working two or three jobs to support their children while sacrificing their own happiness not only became my heroes, but enduring role models. Black lives do matter; should matter; and need to be protected. And yet, many on the left

Rulers don't allow such information, they classify it as disinformation. Why? Because it interrupts their pre-natal to post-grave complete rule of their subjects not citizens. Let them eat cake, if they can find cake.

Good article. Fat is killing people every day. It got my dad at 49. 100 pounds over weight when his heart got even with him. Now we have people like Lizzo being celebrated for being lard butts. A little shaming might save their lives.

FTA: "To put this crisis into jaw-dropping perspective, just in the city of Chicago over the course of the last six decades, there have been more than 40,000 murders. 40,000." That doesn't include NYC, Philly LA, and a handful of other large urban cities run by democrats. Perhaps the democrat-led cities should construct its own memorial wall, like the Vietnam memorial in DC to memorialize the casualties of the Progressive's war on American cities.

When I was growing up, most all blacks either lived in shacks out in the country, or "newtown" as it was called then. They almost all had mothers and fathers in the homes. We moved around a lot cause my Dad would not be able to pay the 10 or 12 dollars rent that shacks we lived in cost in rent. No matter where we went though, we were always the poorest family in the neighborhood, white or black.

A handful of Republicans could save Rep. Ilhan Omar’s, D-Minn., seat on the House Foreign Affairs Committee as Speaker Kevin McCarthy tries to fulfill his promise to eject her over what he described as antisemitic remarks. McCarthy is meeting with holdouts Monday in an effort to persuade them to vote for his resolution to give Omar the boot over her repeated comments against Israel that she has since apologized for. Last week, McCarthy unilaterally removed Reps. Adam Schiff, D-Calif., and Eric Swalwell, D-Calif., from the House Intelligence Committee, a select committee, citing national security concerns.

Next week, President Joe Biden will address Congress on the state of the union , as the Constitution dictates. He ought to take an honest look at the country and the many problems it faces — problems his administration has either created or worsened. Over the next week, the Washington Examiner will report on a few of the important problems plaguing the country and how they are affecting the public every day. The most glaring crisis our country faces today is at the southern border , where hundreds of thousands of immigrants are crossing into the country illegally every month, overwhelming immigration officials and border towns.
McCarthy blasts Biden, Schumer over omnibus:

House Speaker Kevin McCarthy, R-Calif., tore into his Democratic rivals and Republicans who helped pass the omnibus package, saying President Biden appears to believe there is not a cent of waste in current government spending. On "Life, Liberty & Levin," host Mark Levin asked McCarthy whether the Democrats' playbook for fending off conservative Republicans' calls for budget cuts is to add hundreds of billions of dollars in new debt, then accuse the GOP of trying to shut down the government when they advocate for clawing back some of the new spending. "That's exactly the trick," McCarthy said. "But you've got to think about too, who are the senators who

On Christmas Eve, members of Shenzhen Holy Reformed Church, who fled China several years ago, had their celebrations abruptly cut short. The congregation had initially sought refuge in South Korea, but was denied a haven there after three years of immigration court proceedings. The next port of call was Thailand, which they hoped would be a peaceful, if temporary, home before being granted sanctuary in the United States. But on December 24, the landlord for the apartments where the 64 church members – roughly half adults and half children – were staying suddenly informed them that Thai police had demanded copies of all their passports, IDs, and visas.

In a recent appearance on Fox News, Nikki Haley, the former South Carolina governor and former U.S. ambassador to the United Nations, listened while host Sean Hannity listed some of the potential Republican candidates she might have to run against if she decides to seek the White House in 2024. After he named former President Donald Trump, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, Virginia Gov. Glenn Youngkin, former Secretary of State and former CIA director Mike Pompeo, and Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas, Haley paused and then said with a smile, “Most of them are my friends. … Let the best woman win.” It was a clever line, but does it hint at

On President Biden’s first day in office, then-White House press secretary Jen Psaki vowed that the administration would “bring transparency and truth back to government.” What a useless promise. The Biden administration has turned out to be one of the most opaque, secretive and nontransparent in decades, creating the overt appearance of impropriety. After Republicans won control the House of Representatives and promised to investigate Mr. Biden’s son Hunter’s overseas business dealings, among others, the White House told incoming House Oversight Committee Chair James Comer and House Judiciary Chair Jim Jordan to pound sand.
It was not race, but bad policing that

The release of the videos from the lethal arrest of Tyre Nichols, 29, is shocking for its lack of professional tactics and procedures. This looks like adrenaline-filled rage … from the officers. At certain points, it is the suspect who sounds to be trying to de-escalate the situation. It is unfortunately not unique. In physical encounters, officers can escalate violence and lose control with lethal consequences. The footage helps establish a number of legal points. The force is clearly and undeniably excessive. It was a complete breakdown of training and supervision. It is hard to look at this tape objectively and analytically given the emotional impact of the scene. Yet

It’s always the way with political memoirs that everyone sifts them for the high-grade gossip. So it is with Mike Pompeo’s memoir, “Never Give an Inch” released this week. Media reports have understandably focused on the former CIA director and Secretary of State’s opinions on Donald Trump, John Bolton, Kim Jong-Un and a bunch of other folks. But as is often the case, one of the biggest stories in the book has so far been overlooked. When Pompeo was Secretary of State he took probably the most hawkish view any American official has yet taken towards the Communist Party of China. In a speech in October 2019, he told an audience

She was sitting with Roger Goodell, the commissioner of the NFL. Joe Biden went to their home in Wilmington on Sunday afternoon after spending most of the weekend in Camp David as I reported, raising questions as to why was he only going there for the evening when presumably he’s just heading back to the White House on Monday.
