It looks like the Justice Department might have just thrown Joe Biden and the White House under the bus big time.
Fox’s Harris Faulkner was speaking about the matter on the “Faulkner Focus” on Thursday. She ran video of an interview with former federal prosecutor Brett Tolman, who said a “crime had occurred” and there was no requirement that there be any “intent” to do anything bad with the documents. Faulkner noted that the White House has continued to dodge questions about the scandal. I wrote on Wednesday about how White House Karine Jean-Pierre was refusing to answer reporters’ questions, punting and saying they can’t comment on an “ongoing investigation,”

When did Moderna start developing its COVID-19 vaccine? Moderna’s CEO Stephane Bancel already made headlines at World Economic Forum’s (WEF) elitist Davos 2023 conference by saying he wants an mRNA vaccine factory on every continent and by confirming his negotiations with the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) to bring Moderna’s COVID-19 vaccines to China. But there’s more: Bancel admitted on CNBC at Davos that Moderna was already working on a COVID-19 vaccine in January 2020 before the virus had reached most countries and before it even had a specific name.
Bancel went on CNBC at Davos to discuss a new Moderna RSV vaccine. But something far more interesting slipped out.

Antifa protesters in Atlanta are calling for 'Night of Rage' against cops after shooting near training facility dubbed 'Cop City' left one man dead and a state trooper injured. In a press conference, Georgia Bureau of Investigations director Michael Register confirmed that the shooting was in self-defense, with the protestor opening fire 'without warning' at the trooper. But activists are now calling for a 'Night of Rage' and bloodshed against the police following the shooting – threatening to enact 'reciprocal violence' against the authorities.

New York City is amongst some of the top crime-ridden places in the U.S., thanks to soft-on-crime policies and Democrat-run leaders.
A new law is forcing prosecutors to release suspects, putting them back on the street sans consequences, only making the city’s crime problem heighten.
According to a new study obtained by the New York Post, 69 percent of criminal cases were dropped due to justice “reforms.”
In 2019, the year new “discovery” rules were adopted by state lawmakers, 44 percent of cases were dismissed, rising to 69 percent by mid-October 2021, according to the Manhattan Institute.

Exclusive photographs reveal the shocking scale of devastation in a Philadelphia neighborhood ravaged by a newly popular and dangerous drug.
Kensington, an inner city area described by The Philadelphia Inquirer as 'the poorest neighborhood in America's poorest big city', has become ground zero for abuse of an animal tranquilizer called xylazine.
Pictures obtained by DailyMail.com show addicts shooting up in broad daylight, or hunched over in a stupor. Needles and syringes litter the ground and any of those on the streets had raw, gaping wounds.

President Biden’s Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) is taking steps towards requiring state and local governments to submit “equity plans” to the federal government to display compliance to fair housing rules.
President Biden’s HUD submitted a proposed rule that would require local governments to submit plans and reports relating to civil rights concerns or else risk losing subsidies from the federal government, the Washington Examiner reported. The requirements are part of a rule called “Affirmatively Furthering Fair Housing” and are said to follow through on one portion of the 1968 Fair Housing Act, which mandated that localities “affirmatively further” fair housing in response to historical segregation.

Who leaked the Supreme Court’s draft decision on Dobbs, the case that overturned Roe? It’s been the biggest political whodunit in years, with scores of potential perps. We have waited since early May to discover the identity of the thief and the true motive for leaking it out.

And that’s pretty much it. The court threw its hands in the air just a few minutes ago, apparently for good:

After weeks of atmospheric rivers, bomb cyclones and Pineapple Express moisture, California reservoir levels have seen a steep rise.
On Sunday, the National Weather Service shared an infographic from the Department of Water Resources, which laid out just how much California’s reservoirs have filled after weeks of heavy rain.
While none of the major reservoirs are at capacity – in fact, many are still less than half full – many are at or above their historical average for this point in the rainy season. Oroville, for example, is at 54% capacity, but 99% of where it usually is in mid-January.
But three years of drought has left the state begging for more water.

As California emerges from a two-week bout of deadly atmospheric rivers, a number of climate researchers say the recent storms appear to be typical of the intense, periodic rains the state has experienced throughout its history and not the result of global warming. Although scientists are still studying the size and severity of storms that killed 19 people and caused up to $1 billion in damage, initial assessments suggest the destruction had more to do with California's historic drought-to-deluge cycles, mountainous topography and aging flood infrastructure than it did with climate-altering greenhouse gasses.

Trump or DeSantis? It doesn't matter. Phantom voters will decide 2024. The phantoms are not voting for either.
Those working deep in swing state voter rolls can tell you with 100% certainty that unless Trump or DeSantis wins with a 5%-to-18% margin in swing states, they will lose every one.
Let's do some electioneering math.
To win the presidency, about a dozen swing states matter — we all know who they are. Some will add Georgia, Virginia, and Arizona, some not.
President Trump won in 2016 because he caught the leftists off guard. Perhaps even Trump was surprised on Election Night — the surprise was so complete!

On Thursday it emerged that his popularity had plunged to 40 percent, close to the lowest of his presidency.

The U.S. is expected a hit the ceiling on Thursday, forcing the Treasury Department to start using 'extraordinary measures' so the government can keep paying bills while Congress negotiates to try and avoid an economic meltdown.
American debt is now at an eye-watering $31.38 trillion - that's 120 percent of GDP, up from 39.2 percent as recently as 2008 and 77.6 percent in 2018.
The staggering figure is the highest since the Second World War, equals $246,876 in federal debt per taxpayer and is more than the economies of China, Japan, Germany and the United Kingdom combined.

Minneapolis - Crews of state and county workers spent hours clearing a large tent encampment in Minneapolis on Wednesday morning, forcing out those who’d been staying there for months. The sprawling camp in Cedar-Riverside near 15th Ave. S and Sixth St. S had more than 80 tents at the time of eviction. Notably, it was recently equipped with portable toilets after City Council Member Jamal Osman and his staff pleaded for almost two months for state and city government to provide them. Unlike recent encampment sweeps done by the city of Minneapolis, this closure was carried out by state and county

CLAIM: Image shows that CNN published a Jan. 11 headline reading, “Doctor of Damar Hamlin confirms Cardiac Arrest was due to the 4th Booster Vaccine.” AP’S ASSESSMENT: Altered image. The screenshot was manipulated to add the fabricated headline, a CNN spokesperson confirmed. The actual headline reported on the release of the Buffalo Bills safety from a hospital. THE FACTS: Social media posts are spreading the manipulated image amid unsupported claims swirling online that Hamlin’s cardiac arrest was caused by a COVID-19 vaccine.

Imagine the following scenario: You are driving through Los Angeles when your car is inexplicably struck by another. You pull out of traffic and stop at the side of the road so you can exchange information with the other driver as the law prescribes. In speaking with the other driver, you can see he appears to be under the influence of some intoxicant, as he is agitated, speaking incoherently, and running around in the street. You are relieved to spot a passing police officer, whom you flag down and apprise of events.
“There’s the man who hit me,” you say to the officer. “He’s running around in the street

If you weighed the importance of a scandal based on the amount of media coverage generated in recent weeks, you’d think that George Santos is the biggest threat the nation currently faces. Bigger even than Donald Trump, and much bigger than President Joe Biden, who has hoarded highly classified documents in unsecured locations for the past six years.
Who is George Santos, you ask? He’s nobody. He’s just one of 435 congressmen elected in the 2022 midterms. He’s someone who would normally get zero press attention, even if he had done something incredibly stupid like lie about his background to get elected.
But Santos, you see,

As a political pundit, it’s one thing to write an article featuring one target-rich environment, but when you get an opportunity to hit two target-rich environments in the same article, it’s often comedy gold and almost always more fun than a writer should be allowed to have — with almost being the operative word.
With Joe Biden’s classified documents scandal continuing to deepen and the Democrat Party desperately standing in the breach, hyper-partisan geniuses Whoopi Goldberg, co-host of “The View,” and California Democrat Rep. Eric Swalwell on Wednesday combined their wits [rolling-eyes emoji] to concoct the most ridiculous take yet on the classified documents scandal.

A speaker at the World Economic Forum (WEF) called for one “billion” people to “stop eating meat” Wednesday, saying it would have a “big impact” on the “current food system” and help reduce carbon emissions.
“If a billion people stop eating meat, I tell you, it has a big impact. Not only does it have a big impact on the current food system, but it will also inspire innovation of food systems,” Jim Hagemann Snabe, chairman of the Germany-based conglomerate Siemens AG, said during a panel called “Mobilizing for Climate.” The WEF’s conference in Davos, Switzerland, attended by many world leaders and top business executives, started Monday and runs through Friday.

The Supreme Court rejected a bid by New York gun retailers on Wednesday to block a slew of new gun control laws in the state, which they argued violate their Second Amendment rights and hurt their businesses.
There were no noted dissents in the order or explanations from the justices for their decision.
"We are disappointed that not one of the nine justices saw fit to grant the plaintiffs some stay of enforcement of the new laws against them," Paloma Capanna, the lead attorney for the New York gun retailers, told Fox News Digital on Wednesday.
"We are challenging the ability of the state of New York to target dealers in firearms

The White House has tweaked the narrative as the ongoing discovery of classified materials at President Joe Biden’s Wilmington, Delaware home threatens to derail his agenda and dash his hopes for a second term.
With the firestorm building to the point were even Democrats have been forced to speak out about the embarrassing fiasco, questions continue to be raised about why there are no visitor logs for the residence and now the regime has flip-flopped after previously saying that official business was conducted at the house.
On Monday, the White House Counsel’s Office explained that the reason why there are no visitor logs is that Biden’s home was his personal residence.

Given the opportunity to search President Joe Biden’s office and residences, the Department of Justice declined to do so, The Wall Street Journal reports. Instead, it allowed potentially uncleared and unnamed private counsel to search for classified material after the discovery of the highly classified documents in the Penn Biden Center office. It was a decision that could benefit Biden greatly, but at a considerable cost to the department itself.
If true, the decision raises additional questions over the independence of top law enforcement personnel. This follows a litany of controversies involving both Donald Trump and Biden where the FBI and DOJ have been accused of political bias and unequal treatment.

Newly-published photos show Hunter Biden had access to Joe Biden’s beloved Corvette that the president says was kept in a “locked garage” alongside classified documents from his time as vice president.
The pictures, obtained from Hunter Biden’s abandoned laptop and verified for authenticity by the Washington Free Beacon on Wednesday, cast doubt on the 80-year-old president’s claims that the top-secret papers discovered in a garage at his 6,850-square-foot Wilmington, Delaware mansion were properly secured.
The snaps, taken on an iPhone camera just outside the president’s home, show Hunter Biden in the driver’s seat of his father’s Goodwood Green-colored 1967 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray convertible in July of 2017,

A new poll shows Donald Trump topping the list of likely 2024 Republican nominees, reflecting his enduring control of the GOP despite rising stars like Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis and other new party leaders who are likely to challenge him for the White House.
Multiple federal investigations and the tax fraud conviction of his real estate empire have failed to dissuade a plurality of likely Republican voters from siding with Trump, according to a new Morning Consult survey published on Wednesday.
Forty-eight percent of respondents said they want the former president to top the GOP ticket for a third time.
He beats out DeSantis, who is the runner-up with 31 percent support,
