Rep. James Clyburn of South Carolina, a kingmaker in Democratic Party politics, vigorously endorsed President Biden for re-election on Wednesday and warned members of his party against challenging the sitting president. "I'm all-in for President Biden," Clyburn told CBS' Robert Costa in an interview. "I think he's demonstrated, in these two years … that he is deserving of re-election. And I do believe he will be re-elected irrespective of who the Republicans, they put up."
Clyburn is the assistant Democratic leader in the House and a well-respected and influential ally of the White House. His endorsement of Biden in 2020 is widely credited with delivering South Carolina

He can't see the back stage drama. He's hitched his wagon to the wrong star this time.

FTA: "Clyburn is the assistant Democratic leader in the House and a well-respected and influential ally of the White House."
Well-Respected my rear-end. Everyone with a modicum of integrity and a smattering of intelligence knows he's a Democrat hack without a trace of honor!

People, from Clyburn down to the lowliest snarkist in his basement, are allowed to say anything these days and not be called on it. Clyburn can't be that stupid, so I assume that his saying Biden deserves re-election is political. Clyburn gets some political benefit for voicing support of Biden..... personal benefit for Clyburn and maybe secondarily for his congressional district.

One of the puppet masters cheerleading for the empty headed puppet. If someone else gets in the race and wins - - - Brother Clyburn might not be able to hold any influence over the "new guy". Don't want to lose that control.

Clyburn uses his control of the black vote to clear the field. Late spring-early summer 2024 Biden steps aside for health reasons. Michelle waltzes in to save the party. She's given the nomination by acclamation

Clyburn is an election-denier (2004 election), and therefore unworthy of serious consideration, according to present media standards.

Clyburn can be bought. He is an influence peddler.
Biden has been a pawn since he became President. Everyone knows what happens to pawns in a game of chess. They get sacrificed. Clyburn wants a seat at the table where the kingmakers sit.

All that tells me is that Clyburn is in it up to his neck with Joe and needs access to a pardon.

If elections were really decided by voters and not by phony mail in ballots that disappear upon request and by rigged voting machines, then please run Biteme again.

#6 nails it. This is all about Clyburn, not the demented buffoon in the Oval Office who doesn't know what day of the week it is. If not for Clyburn, the imbecile-in-chief would not have received the nomination and wouldn't be CIC. That gives Clyburn tremendous sway with the current administration.
If a challenger who doesn't need Clyburn comes along and wins the nomination, Clyburn loses all that influence. That's what this is about.
Then again, if he can sell his 'people' on a low IQ corrupt serial liar like Biden, I suppose he can sell them on anyone.

Get used to it, folks. Biden runs again, Democrats cheat again, Biden wins again, Republicans protest and show smoking guns again, media calls them election deniers again, Democrat judges obey orders and dismiss cases again. Again, have I left anything out?

"And I do believe he will be re-elected irrespective of who the Republicans, they put up." He's right, you know. Elections are no longer a contest between candidates to see who can garner the most votes. Elections are merely part of the approved rituals that our memetic society requires. The candidate chosen by the powers that be will "win," in the sense that he or she will be installed in whatever position was "vacant." Democrats, being the more unscrupulous of the two major political parties, have no compunctions against manufacturing "votes," so they will prevail unless the republicans are able to put aside such moral scruples that may remain and cheat as hard as the democrats. Of course, whether the candidate put up by the republicans is any better than the one foisted upon us by the democrats remains in dispute.

So Clyburn likes open borders and fentynal, economic stagnation, inflation, lax law and order, etc. People, especially blacks, being much worse off than under the previous administration. Wow.
