President Joe Biden flies to California’s central coast on Thursday to see for himself areas that have been devastated by extreme weather.
Although it is billed as a chance to meet with first responders and survey recovery efforts, it offers a chance to escape Washington, D.C. where his administration is under intense fire for its handling of a document scandal.
On Thursday it emerged that his popularity had plunged to 40 percent, close to the lowest of his presidency.

What a waste of OUR money, flying all the way to California and back, simply to have a photo op. From the news coverage, I know all one needs to know about the devastation, but maybe Joe doesn't remember that.

He and Gov. Grecian will undoubtedly blame the rain on 'climate change'. No one in the media seems to notice they blame any and every weather event on their pet money-making scheme.

First reply apparently either doesn’t admit or recognize the success of the dumbing down of the American public. Accomplished by unrelenting combined effort of our “news media”, public and private educational systems.

Rain, drought, fires, earthquakes, landslides, and democrats.
I don't know which hurts California the most, but i expect it is the democrats.

My Rush-reminiscent take on this; every morning the ruling Junta's minions wake up saying 'where can we hide him today?'

I live in the middle of the devastation. We have a main road cut off, washed down the mountain, in both directions. A two mile drive to town takes 45 minutes now. People are riding ATVs and parking spare vehicles on the other side, and other creative means.
One of those portable bridges would get us through until the county can figure out how to fix things. They have a lot to do at this time. This is something that can be trucked in and installed by an excavator. So far, crickets.
There is no way feeble old FJB is coming to our community and we don't want him here!

Out wasting taxpayer $$ on jet fuel again and adding to the mess in the skies. I liked it better when they kept the old phart in the basement and we didn't have to look at his ugly bald head all the time.

How can his approval rating "PLUNGE" to 40% when a year ago it was reported as 30% and that was even a lie. His approval rating has not gone up in that time, and I think the true number is so embarrassing that don't want to report it.

Wherever fraud Joe arrives he'll comfort people with a story how he once lived in that place. Bill Clinton used to just say "I feel your pain" but not old fraud Joe. Maybe fraudster will get off script and tell the overused story about AR-15 owners will need F-15s to hold off his Army when they go to attack Americans wearing MAGA caps. With clinched teeth, leaning into the microphone fraud Joe will whisper "I'm here to help" after he prays in a black church that is close by. FJB

The damage is that their reservoirs are refilling ... better flush the surplus out to the ocean quick to protect bait fish.

Running off to friendly liberal blue California.
Republicans, keep the pressure on him and his administration. Investigate them and drive their legal costs through the roof. Keep asking KJP the same questions over and over until she answers them or runs screaming from the room.
MSM, welcome to the party, pal. Better late than never.
