It will be interesting to re-read these gaslighting stories about the "insurrection" in the future when, as I believe will happen, the reality of what the intelligence community, media execs, Big Tech CEOs, and TDS infected officials did to steal the 2020 election becomes common knowledge. Who will be the heroes and who will be the villains in this future story? I just hope I live long enough to see the scales fall from the eyes of the ignorant and they finally perceive the enormity of the damage to our Republic that they defended.

I think if someone with some non politicized go-power were to look at all of the various characters who were arrested following the demonstration that turned into a riot at the US Capitol building, they would find that most had never been to DC before that January 6th and that the vast majority of them had little actual knowledge that they were breaking the law by entering the Capitol building the way they did, especially since there is evidence that the Capitol Police waived a lot of them into the building, and it now appears that there were some law enforcement paid agitators within the crowds who appear to have encouraged a lot of those really low information people to enter the building, where some of the rioting got out of control and turned violent, who have since been arrested and find themselves as defendants in pending criminal cases. If that turns out to be so, the real culprit there is the person in charge of the Capitol building, namely Nancy Pelosi, who refused law enforcement and military reinforcements in the days before January 6th, and who after January 6th did everything she could think of to try and cover her politicized butt.

I haven't seen the exact timeline...at what time exactly was the Capitol "Closed", When and How was that announced? It had been "Open to the Public" leading up to, and until that point, certainly was publicized as being open in the days before 1/6 when people began to make plans to travel and attend the Rally nearby. The doors have electromagnetic locks/latches, centrally controlled. At what time exactly was the order given to lock those doors? How many people were already inside..before the doors actually locked? How and when were those inside informed of the "Change"?

George Washington University law professor Jonathan Turley told FOX News on Monday evening that it is a "menacing thing" for the FBI to declare that "combatting disinformation" is one of its top priorities, and explained how Elon Musk revealed potential first amendment violations in the bureau's relationship with social media companies like Twitter. (snip)JONATHAN TURLEY, GWU: What’s interesting is that there is really a loss of space in the last few weeks for many of the censorship apologists that are in Congress and the media. For years, they denied there was any censorship, that there was any shadowbanning, there was any blacklist. All of that was just formally denied. Because of Musk, we now know that all of that were lies. That, in fact, there was an extensive censorship system that was being directed in part by the FBI.

JERUSALEM  - Majd Ramlawi was serving coffee in Jerusalem’s Old City when a chilling text message appeared on his phone. "You have been spotted as having participated in acts of violence in the Al-Aqsa Mosque," it read in Arabic. "We will hold you accountable."Ramlawi, then 19, was among hundreds of people who civil rights attorneys estimate got the text last year, at the height of one of the most turbulent recent periods in the Holy Land. Many, including Ramlawi, say they only lived or worked in the neighborhood, and had nothing to do with the unrest. What he didn’t know was that the feared internal security agency,

To the shock and horror of the left, The New York Young Republican Club gathered last week to celebrate its joyous solidarity in the face of overwhelming evil. Gorgeously clad attendees of the 110th Annual Gala strode past mobs of protesters braying the usual insults (“Nazi!” “Fascist!” “White Supremacist!”) from behind police barricades. “One party in the country wants to put the other party in a gulag, and the media carries their water,” Donald Trump Jr. told the crowd, delivering somber analysis with perfect comic timing. “We have a political party pushing pedophilia, as the schools attack mothers…

This was a hard year for conservatives. In 2022, we mourned the loss of a host of influential and important thinkers on the Right. The intellectual wing of the conservative movement has always been a vital force for inspiring, presenting, and driving home conservative ideas. The conservatives we lost in this past year all played a part in this dynamic exchange, in newspapers, at think tanks, in academia, on the judiciary, and in entertainment. The voices they provided helped conservative ideas get heard — and for that we can be grateful.

When I watch TV with my husband Steve, a former athlete, I see superb ballplayers in basketball, baseball, and football exhibiting what immense discipline went into their sculpted bodies, what sacrifices they made to achieve their goals, what tremendous––almost superhuman––talent they have in effecting that three-point shot from mid-court, that spectacular triple play, that “you’ve been Mossed” catch in the endzone. The Biden administration has quietly finalized a rule allowing employers to funnel workers’ 401(k) funds into investments that support woke causes that address issues such as climate change and diversity. The Labor Department approved the rule last week, just two days before the Thanksgiving break. It will affect roughly 150 million workers and $10 trillion in assets covered under the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974. The rule says asset managers and retirement plan administrators should consider environmental, social and corporate governance (ESG) factors when selecting investments.

As Canada prepares to expand its euthanasia law to include those with mental illness, some Canadians - including many of the country's doctors - question whether the country's assisted death programme has already moved too far, too fast. Dr Madeline Li can recall the first patient she helped die, about one month after Canada first legalised euthanasia in 2016. "I remember just how surreal it was," she said. A psychiatrist at Toronto's Princess Margaret Hospital, she recalled checking on her patient that day, asking if she had the right music and final meal, and if she was sure she wanted to go ahead.
