Even some kin of Coretta Scott King hate the new $10 million sculpture just dedicated to her and her iconic civil-rights-leader husband in Boston — with a cousin claiming it “looks like a penis.”
The massive bronze piece, titled “The Embrace,” features two sets of arms holding each other, an artistic interpretation of the classic photo of Coretta and hubby Martin Luther King Jr. hugging (snip)
“The mainstream media … was reporting on it like it was all beautiful, ’cause they were told they had to say that,” Seneca Scott, Coretta’s cousin,(snip)
“But then when it came out, a little boy pointed out — ‘That’s a penis!’

Well, it’s fitting since he was a serial adulterer.

Who gets to see the preliminary models before the construction? Someone made a very expensive mistake.

Still not as bad as the statue in Washington that makes MLK look like Uncle Mao.
I don't wanna hear a word about the man's alleged faults.
The South was a powder keg after Tillis.
Do you have any idea what could have happened to this county if Dr. King hadn't insisted on non-violent protest but floated reparations and violent conflict like today's race hustlers? Or like his contemporary, X? It is literal ignorance to not understand that.

To me one of these photos looks like the old meme where a guy is bent over with his head up his backside.
Of course this would be typical for the woke liberal mindset that approved the design.
I do have to admit that the technical aspect of the way the sculpture was crafted looks impressive.

At first glance I thought it looked like one of those 'head up the keister' memes brought to life as art. I suspect the artist is laughing all the way to the bank and beyond, for he pulled off a great con.

Too funny, all that for 10M. The left will tear it down in a few years anyway, the last thig the left wants to do is judge people by content of their character, MLK was the opposite to the BLM.

In one view it resembles a heart and that is kind of cool. I like statues where I recognize who and/or what it is. I would not know that this was Dr. King and his wife.

A perfect statue for the chronic two timing Reverend and a great black leader that changed the direction of the black community for the better. Now we have Rev. Jackson, Maxine Waters, Scamming Abrams, Fake Rev. Al Scrapton, Sen. Clymer, Doorknob Hussein, and the rest to carry on the Rev.'s legacy. Such a legacy can happen only in America.

Ever since mankind reached a state where he no longer had to be the fittest to survive he's been de-evolving; hence, stupid stuff like this statue.

“When we recognize that all storytelling is an abstraction, all representation is an abstraction, hopefully it allows us to be open to more dynamic and complex forms of representation that don’t stick us to narrative that oversimplifies a person or their legacy,"-The 'artist' explains that MLK was/is overly simple.
Though the quote itself could be the marching banner of nearly all media, it certainly was the entire basis of Biden's MLK sermon...

Is there not one man in Boston with a truck who could tear this thing down? ANTIFA proved that all statues can be torn down without punishment.

So how many million$ will the King family need to be paid to assuage their hate of the sculpture? That family is like a vacuum cleaner around money.
