No Easy Road for Men of God

Last week, Pope Benedict XVI was laid to rest. The world media were forced to cover the event, barely containing the vitriol they always had for the man. Why was such a kindly and humble scholar always the subject of such scorn? Most of it, I think, was that worldly commentators so hated his predecessor, but St. John Paul II's charisma simply washed over everyone, like a tidal wave. So they took it out on his successor. There is also a lot of academic jealousy by insiders.

IMO Pope Benedict left because of a corrupt College of Cardinals and that group of corrupt Cardinals elected the man now holding the position . To put it simply the Church and the United States have something in common. They both traded great leadership for Pope Francis, and Joe Biden.

I have never bought into the idea that Benedict resigned. I think that he was too conservative and the globalists, including 0bama who was president at the time, made him an offer he couldn’t refuse. They had seen the hand that JPII played in bringing down communism and they feared that Benedict, being from Western Europe, would reinvigorate the Church in those countries.

Ephesians 6:12 “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” We may never hear, read or know all of the wonderful and inspiring words written by mankind that might have enlightened & uplifted us through the ages. We may never know their names or learn of their heroic deeds, or know of their suffering & sacrifices for the sake of others. But, as much as man may have endured and sacrificed, no mortal man has yet to suffer what Jesus the Christ, the sinless Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world, suffered for truth itself & ultimately sacrificed himself at the hands of sinful men during His short time on this earth - neither the vicious hatred nor evil deceptions, devices or deeds. He suffered all temptations to know what we suffer, He remained obedient to God & sinless through all that He suffered to become the One sacrifice we need to cleanse us of every sin we have committed and to save all who will trust and be obedient to Him. Thankfully, all of mankind can have access to the most inspiring and Holy Spirit inspired words of the Truth of Almighty God, our Creator and Redeemer, in the Holy Bible. That good Book assures us that we can all know & understand its Truths alike, & tells us that we must do so, because there is only One Way to the salvation of our souls. The words in this Holy Book are the words that will judge us in the Last Day. It will be the standard by which it is determined whether we spend eternity in heaven with God, or in hell with Satan. So, although we are surely blessed to have many wonderful sources of information, both religious & secular, that can help us to grow as individuals, and be of use to mankind. In the end, if we do not know & understand the information in the One Book, with the One Way to salvation; if we have not prayerfully studied it with all readiness of mind to see if the things we have heard are true regarding its contents; &, if we have not believed & obeyed the words contained within its pages, nothing else we have seen, heard or done will save us when our life on earth is over. The saddest thing of all is that we all have such easy access to this information (it is not obscure or hidden), yet so few take the opportunity to read it and apply it to their lives. Doing that would make all of the difference in unifying us, changing our country and our world for the better in the present, & assuring that best of eternal places in our individual futures. Please help us all to be one in Christ, dear God, sanctified in Thy truth. Thy word is truth.

The fact that the GOP revealed disunity does not in any way prove that “it is a party that to some significant extent loathes itself.”

The gleaming promise of new technology and its uses blinded us to the insidious extent imperiled elitists would go to protect their unmerited power, wealth, and status. We were naïve. Yet, even if one could have foreseen the metastasizing tyranny brought about by the digital age, it would have strained credulity to watch Americans—especially the young—not merely acquiescing to it, but embracing it. Though we are now inured to its novelty, it bears recollecting that from the late 20th century to the present, we have lived through a worldwide communications revolution. Profoundly affecting the individual and society, the full impact of this revolution remains unclear.

Kevin McCarthy and his bid for the speakership. “Months ago, these members made clear that this established way of doing things was no longer acceptable,” the Conservative Action Project letter said. “Rather than engage them in a good faith negotiation, Rep. Kevin McCarthy has instead maligned both the requests and the messengers. He has publicly and through proxies leveled attacks against members of his own party, including threatening to deny committee assignments for those who continue to oppose him.”
