The city of Chicago has threatened to revoke the licenses of contractors that process cargo for airlines at O’Hare airport if they don’t open to union organizers, putting two-thirds of cargo traffic at this major international hub at risk of being stranded and stressing supply chains for an undetermined period. Cargo airline executives warn it could take months to find replacement ground handling agents, leading to long backlogs at other overstretched facilities and forcing them to hunt for alternative airports that might permanently retain some of the $200 billion worth of annual imports and exports moving through O’Hare. “There is no good short-term solution if this happens and

Mayor Pete’s problem, is that he is “hard at work”, but unfortunately he doesn’t know his ass from a hole in the ground when it comes to transportation management.

The City of Chicago is creating a problem where none exists as a way for the Chicago DEMOCRAT MACHINE to pander to their Union bosses and maintain their blessings and cash flow. With few complaints from the employees the city bosses had to do something to please the union. You need da union or you are being cheated! I can just hear it now. The only only people who will gain from the cargo workers at O'Hare Airport unionizing are the politicians and union bosses. Employees will find much less friendly, less flexible workplace with a portion of their pay going to the union.

So why is the city of Chicago pushing union admissions. It's not their job nor should they have any skin in that game, unless there's a big payoff for them. But who would think the people running Chicago would be that corrupt. Wake up already.

I once created a crisis at some trade show hall in Chicago by plugging a monitor into an electrical outlet at our booth (that we paid a LOT to have power to) and some worker bee saw me do it. Next thing I know some bully came over and told me I needed to get an electrician to do that. I told him obviously I didn't because I just did it without an electrician. He got mouthy with me and told me there would be trouble. OK, whatever. A little while later some exec of the large company I was with who was involved in organizing our show came over and asked me what was going on. As there was not much going on I said not much. He looks at me and says no with the electrical problem. I told him there was no problem. He says well some union guy found me and said there was a problem here. i told him again, no problem. So he asks what happened, I told him I plugged in that monitor and some guy saw it, some other guy came over and got sh...tty with me and I told him I did not need an electrician to plug in a monitor or computer or anything else in the outlets we had paid a lot for. He rolled his eyes and said well OK just don't do it again. Yessir, yah right, OK whatever you say. Apparently there was a fee to have a guy come over and plug stuff in, imagine that.

What's the problem? Lay off half your people. Sell off half your equipment to companies at least two states away. When your license is pulled, close down and dump the rest of your material handling equipment, again, way far away. Give Chicaga what they want. A union...with no jobs.

A fed-up Brooklyn deli owner has come up with a new way to try to stop a group of local teens from repeatedly shoplifting at his popular Park Slope store — public shaming. Majeed Arbahri, the proprietor of Green Olives Deli & Grill Juice Bar on Seventh Avenue, has begun displaying a “Thieves of the Week” video behind the counter, hoping it discourages a troublesome group of local high school girls from robbing him blind. (Snip) He said he even spoke to the school principal and sent him the video. “He said they did it outside the school so there’s nothing they can do,” Arbahri said.

They also found a lesion on her chest, which appeared to be basal cell carcinoma, and doctors extracted. They later confirmed it was that type of skin cancer.

With the reported discovery of a second batch of highly classified documents connected to President Biden, the decisions of Attorney General Merrick Garland are fast moving from the inexplicable to incomprehensible. Garland was presumably briefed that classified documents were discovered in Joe Biden’s old office on Nov. 2. He also presumably knew about the Biden documents when he appointed a special counsel to investigate the classified documents at Mar-a-Lago 16 days later. At the time of the appointment of Jack Smith, some of us noted the inexplicable refusal of Garland to appoint a special counsel to look into alleged Biden influence peddling and other crimes.
