A Seattle official has been handed a sarcastic award for banning city workers from displaying Christmas or Hanukkah decorations in their own homes while on Zoom calls to avoid offending colleagues with different beliefs.
Gloria Ngezaho is the workforce equity manager for King County, which encompasses Seattle, and was handed the Ebenezer Award from the Becket Fund for Religious Liberty.
Ngezaho's draconian edict was first revealed in November, and he was handed the award last week over his 'Guidelines for Holiday Decorations' rules.

If you invent positions such as "workforce equity manager", the person occupying that position is going to look for problems where there are none, to justify their existence. Classic example.

One more good reason to end that work from home scam. There was never a good reason for it and that reason is past. I have to put up with the total lack of service from HR and other admin types because they are all "working from home", which means they arent working.
Dont like the decorations? Open the office back up.

Of course, #2, a man with a hammer, etc. He will find something to justify his overpaid, worthless, POS of a “job”.

Allowing the Knotseez to operate within city government is what they cherish. Will you send them an unforgettable "message"?

Fight back with their own weapons. Claim to be offended by anything the PC crowd does. Soon, this nonsense will collapse under its own weight.

Sheer madness. Or is it? I posit that this kind of offense-taking is another totalitarian way for Lefties to shut down everyone they don’t agree with. Because religion places God above all, Lefties view the State as threatened by Him. Religion’s got to go. Besides, they believe Christians and Jews are crazy for believing in God. Yet Lefties have their god as well: the State.

About the biggest violation of the first amendment in the Bill of Rights there is. The government can not deny you your right to freely celebrate your religion in your own home.

Recent African transplant needs to go back home where such stupid ideas and rules are common. How about muslim decorations, doctor? Oh, that's right, they worship a Sixth Century Pedophile, not Jesus, no problem there. Why do Americans think it is smart to elect foreigners to office? Omar, Obama and noteable others have caused nothing but grief. We have plenty of stupid home-grown politicians without importing them.

What happens when an employee shows up at the office wearing a Cross or Star of David?
I wonder if Ngezaho had any idea what his first name means.

This Seattle official's attitude is the same attitude that crucified Christ. He was executed to mollify the Jews offended by His claims of divinity. So, anything that offends must be removed.
