Will the Republican Party Tell the GOP

Who needs those icky rank-and-file Republican voters who ring the doorbells, make the calls, and write the checks? Not the Republican Party! At least that’s what some at the top of the party pyramid think. Some of this elite cabal is utterly disregarding what amounts to the base’s effective unanimity that current GOP Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel needs to go away. After three terms of ignominious failure, she is pushing for a fourth go ‘round as the Republican National Committee (RNC) head honcho

Comments:

I've had a bellyfull of Ronna McRomney's sad excuses for why the GOP prefers to lose instead of win. And if I hear "That’s not who we are" once more as an excuse, I will throw up!! We DEFINITELY need someone who has new ideas and isn't afraid to ruffle some feathers to see them work!!

Personally, I refuse to believe the weasley, RINO, backstabbing, so-called "leaders" of the Republi-Can't Party for another second!!!!! Voting McConnell & Mc Daniel back in & this last trillion $$ vote has convinced me the DC elite republicans are 100000000% out of touch. The 17 republicans who voted for this Biden mess should be voted out. Very depressing. They had the nerve to say Nancy pushed Obamacare w/o reading it when they passed a trillion $$ mess w/o reading a word! People like Hawley, Trump, Rand Paul, Cruz & a few others give me hope.

The Republican support of the omnibus bill is a middle finger to the electorate, especially Republican/Conservatives who voted to change Congress in Jan 2023. This proves they do not respect their party and are acting independently. Time to go to an America First Party and dump the GOPe.

Been reading this type of stuff here since the beginning, yet somehow these louts stay in power. Turns out that the people most likely to spout off on the internet are usually the same ones who sit on their ample behinds and do nothing (or better yet, call the men who do take action, “misogynist, homophobe, Nazi”, etc.). This nation has earned everything it’s receiving. Merry Christmas.

We hear from them constantly before an election, begging for money using all electronic means and the post office. It's like a bombardment of begging and promises. After they gain re-election, they turn silent and the promises are forgotten. Little Marco Rubio was pathetic when he thought he was going to lose. Let's see how they fare without our financial support.

CoRonna McVirus is the chosen Judas Goat to lead the party to the slaughterhouse. Some twisted favor to Mittens, maybe. Why do the Repubcapons insist on running a losing game? Well, just like in the movies, there are heroes and there are sidekicks. The RNC is content to serve as a lackey, a toadie, a footman to the party of the Evil Left. They are content to subsist on the crumbs that fall from their table. They further the Left's aims...while pretending to oppose them.

Trump showed them how to win, but eGOP didn’t like it. They helped to destroy him, now they can revert back to their natural swamp creature state. Try to reform from within, or pull the plug? Whether we have a democrat or eGOP at the helm, the country is spiraling down, the pubbies just want to go a bit slower than the democrats. But either way we’re going to auger in, it’s just a matter of time. So maybe it is time to abandon the GOP. recognizing that this will elect democrats and hasten the crash? At least political accountability will be clear. It’s risky as there Is no telling what comes out on the other side.

With support for the Omnibus bill, the Republicans proved they are not anything more than charlatans able to reap the rewards of office like any other politicians. It doesn't matter who the chair of the GOP is. It matters who is elected and sent to Washington and your state houses. When Senate seats are somehow worth $400 million (see PA) you know someone is making out hugely - and it's not YOU.

The only thing McDaniel has done over these last years as RNC chair was enrich herself, lose some weight, looks like she got a face lift and yes, got those Trump girl type highlights. Other than that, not a friggin' thing. Like her pal McConnell she delights in giving the rabble base Republicans the middle finger. Just as McConnell and those traitorous republicans all voting for the so-called omnibus bill and supporting Biden, McDaniel will continue to do more of the same. It is incredibly frustrating that we base republicans cannot get rid of McConnell, McCarthy and McDaniel. These feckless, self promoters, believe that the base has no where else to go. You stick with them, or the country moves even further left and the destruction continues a pace. The entire situation is outrageous and gut wrenching frustrating.

I quit the Republican party when they let the Dems steal the 2020 election from Trump. I haven't given to the RNC in years and don't intend to start. From the Gospel According to Luke, Chapter 2, Verses 1 through 20: And it came to pass in those days, that there went out a decree from Cæsar Augustus, that all the world should be taxed. (And this taxing was first made when Cyrenius was governor of Syria.) And all went to be taxed, every one into his own city. And Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth, into Judæa, unto the city of David, which is called Bethlehem; (because he was of the house and lineage of David). To be taxed with Mary his espoused wife, being great with child.

If you live in the United States, chances are you have probably encountered a Salvation Army volunteer ringing a bell outside of a supermarket. Dressed in red, standing alongside a donation pail hanging from a chain, Salvation Army volunteers are a sign Christmas is near and a great reminder it’s always better to give than to receive. Most volunteers are only known to their communities and are rarely known on the world stage. But that wasn’t the case outside of a Publix in North Tampa, Florida. Super Bowl champion head coach for the Indianapolis Colts Tony Dungy was spotted by several football fans ringing bells for charity.

Police in a Tennessee city showed the true holiday spirit as well as outstanding service to their community when they pitched in to replace a child’s gifts after a human Grinch stole them and then set the family’s Christmas tree ablaze. Earlier this week, the Dyersburg Police Department said on Facebook that they had arrested a man after they responded to a call at a local apartment complex where the suspect was observed purloining the presents by an observant neighbor, also torching the tree in an act that reportedly stemmed from an “altercation” between the perp and the victim that took place prior to the incident.

Once again, Americans rank Christmas as their favorite holiday, and half of U.S. adults plan to attend religious services this season, a Rasmussen Reports poll found. Sixty percent of 1,100 American adults polled between Dec. 19-21 say Christmas is one of our nation’s most important holidays, up from 59 percent in 2021. The margin of sampling error is ±3 percentage points with a 95 percent level of confidence. “Christmas has consistently been rated the most important holiday by Americans, usually followed by the Fourth of July and Thanksgiving. This year, however, Veterans Day jumped into second place,” the poll report states.

I have many pagan, atheist, or agnostic friends who bypass Christmas, dismissing it as a commercial and religious quagmire in which they would rather not partake. But when December 21 (or whichever date is designated as the precise time) rolls around, they are big on the Winter Solstice wishes, rituals, and festivals. The Winter Solstice, also known as “Yule,” is a celebration of the sun, renewal, rebirth, and the continuation of life. It is the shortest day and the longest night of the year. Yule has been considered the “Festival of Light,” or “The Festival of the Sun,” as it celebrates the return of the sun

I don’t know exactly when I became a fan of Charlie Brown and the “Peanuts” characters, but I can remember them being a huge part of my elementary school years, along with a group of friends who loved the comic strip. One thing I do know: A Charlie Brown Christmas has always been a part of my holiday celebrations, including this Christmas. Dr. Biden read Ezra Jack Keats’ “The Snowy Day” before the Bidens visited with children and their families in the cardiac intensive care unit. “Thanks for coming and listening to me read and have the president hold the book,” she said after reading, as Biden deadpanned, “It’s my job.”

Former President Donald Trump has released a five minute video in which he rambles on how the January 6 Committee findings were a 'monstrous lie'. 'The unselect committee did not produce a single shred of evidence that I in anyway intended or wanted violence at our capitol,' Trump said. 'The evidence does not exist because the claim is baseless and a monstrous lie.
