Who needs those icky rank-and-file Republican voters who ring the doorbells, make the calls, and write the checks? Not the Republican Party! At least that’s what some at the top of the party pyramid think. Some of this elite cabal is utterly disregarding what amounts to the base’s effective unanimity that current GOP Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel needs to go away. After three terms of ignominious failure, she is pushing for a fourth go ‘round as the Republican National Committee (RNC) head honcho

Jeb Bush going into the 2016 primaries thought he didn't need the Republican base either, and look what happened to him.

Me too. I may be cutting off my nose to spite my face, as my mother used to say, but I going to register as Independent.

It's time for conservatives to leave the Republi-Can't Party, and to start a conservative Patriot's Party with actual real conservatives to lead it!!!!!
Personally, I refuse to believe the weasley, RINO, backstabbing, so-called "leaders" of the Republi-Can't Party for another second!!!!! This $1.7 trillion inflation boondoggle is the final straw!!!!!!

Voting McConnell & Mc Daniel back in & this last trillion $$ vote has convinced me the DC elite republicans are 100000000% out of touch. The 17 republicans who voted for this Biden mess should be voted out. Very depressing. They had the nerve to say Nancy pushed Obamacare w/o reading it when they passed a trillion $$ mess w/o reading a word! People like Hawley, Trump, Rand Paul, Cruz & a few others give me hope.

it's happening now and has been growing since 2016 when our President wrested the control of the repubs from the establishment and gave it to MAGA, I'm Independent now but ...
I'm ready to go MAGA any time now, Mr. President

They just partnered with the Dems to insure that this inflation will not go away soon. $17T worth of gas on the inflation fire.

The Republican support of the omnibus bill is a middle finger to the electorate, especially Republican/Conservatives who voted to change Congress in Jan 2023. This proves they do not respect their party and are acting independently. Time to go to an America First Party and dump the GOPe.

They already told us all to go to hell basicly. I am registered Independent, who votes Republican, they for sure are dead to me also. Until they do something about the spineless, traitorist leadership, who betrays us at every turn, they are the ones who can go pound sand. Mitch McConnell has done as much harm to this country as Joe Biden, and that is saying something. No more donations from me.

Been reading this type of stuff here since the beginning, yet somehow these louts stay in power. Turns out that the people most likely to spout off on the internet are usually the same ones who sit on their ample behinds and do nothing (or better yet, call the men who do take action, “misogynist, homophobe, Nazi”, etc.). This nation has earned everything it’s receiving. Merry Christmas.

We hear from them constantly before an election, begging for money using all electronic means and the post office. It's like a bombardment of begging and promises. After they gain re-election, they turn silent and the promises are forgotten. Little Marco Rubio was pathetic when he thought he was going to lose. Let's see how they fare without our financial support.

CoRonna McVirus is the chosen Judas Goat to lead the party to the slaughterhouse. Some twisted favor to Mittens, maybe. Why do the Repubcapons insist on running a losing game? Well, just like in the movies, there are heroes and there are sidekicks. The RNC is content to serve as a lackey, a toadie, a footman to the party of the Evil Left. They are content to subsist on the crumbs that fall from their table. They further the Left's aims...while pretending to oppose them.

They just did with the senate pork bill vote. Retiring senator Ron Portman R-Ohio voted aye, may his gravestone show his perfidy, as did a number of other to be former senators. Absolutely inexcusable for this to pass.

Trump showed them how to win, but eGOP didn’t like it. They helped to destroy him, now they can revert back to their natural swamp creature state. Try to reform from within, or pull the plug? Whether we have a democrat or eGOP at the helm, the country is spiraling down, the pubbies just want to go a bit slower than the democrats. But either way we’re going to auger in, it’s just a matter of time. So maybe it is time to abandon the GOP. recognizing that this will elect democrats and hasten the crash? At least political accountability will be clear. It’s risky as there Is no telling what comes out on the other side.

We can whine all we want, but the truth is, Conservatives are in the minority. The Left, which includes many in the GOP, are the majority and are willing to cheat, lie, and murder to have their way. How bad off are we? Well, our best bet for a comeback just gave a party for anti-Christian homosexuals. We have not reached bottom yet, but we are well on our way.

My bleeding heart side did not want the long knives broken out against Ronna. I turned 180 degrees. She has to go. I believe Ronna is an open border chamber of commerce Republican. Her uncle Mitt is an open border guy. So was Orrin Hatch. So is Jeff Flake. See a pattern here?

So many people in the public eye get away with so much lately and they are truly offended when anyone dares to question their actions - good or bad. They really believe it is none of our business. Think John Boehner and others like him. They manage to stay in positions of power for so long. They do so much damage and dance away without even a slap on the wrist,
D.C. needs its own exorcist, or an army of them.

With support for the Omnibus bill, the Republicans proved they are not anything more than charlatans able to reap the rewards of office like any other politicians. It doesn't matter who the chair of the GOP is. It matters who is elected and sent to Washington and your state houses. When Senate seats are somehow worth $400 million (see PA) you know someone is making out hugely - and it's not YOU.

At the state level, in Louisiana, the geniuses of the GOP endorsed a candidate for Gov. almost a YEAR before the 2023 election. I know, LA. is "unique" in more ways than one. And, it was BEFORE Sen. John Kennedy says he will probably run for Gov. Hillary was right: to the REPUBLICAN elite, snobs, we are 'deplorable.'

not will but have. See McConnell's actual words during the election. They hate their voters for not being good little robots falling in line and voting then shutting up when who they elect don't exactly govern the way they talked.

A reminder: Ronna McDaniel is a granddaughter of Michigan Governor and
businessman George W. Romney and a niece of Massachusetts Governor
and U.S. Senator Mitt Romney. The Romneys and their ilk want to transform the GOP into their own mold.
(What is it with the 'Mcs?) McConnell, McCarthy and McDaniel

The only thing McDaniel has done over these last years as RNC chair was enrich herself, lose some weight, looks like she got a face lift and yes, got those Trump girl type highlights. Other than that, not a friggin' thing. Like her pal McConnell she delights in giving the rabble base Republicans the middle finger. Just as McConnell and those traitorous republicans all voting for the so-called omnibus bill and supporting Biden, McDaniel will continue to do more of the same.
It is incredibly frustrating that we base republicans cannot get rid of McConnell, McCarthy and McDaniel. These feckless, self promoters, believe that the base has no where else to go. You stick with them, or the country moves even further left and the destruction continues a pace. The entire situation is outrageous and gut wrenching frustrating.

I live in a former red state that thanks to Californians and stoners, is now solidly blue and getting bluer with each election. I quit the Republican party when they let the Dems steal the 2020 election from Trump. I haven't given to the RNC in years and don't intend to start. I've voted Republican for many years, but I'm seeing the futility of it in my state, and frankly, nationally. Why bother? I'm glad I'm old.

I've had a bellyfull of Ronna McRomney's sad excuses for why the GOP prefers to lose instead of win. And if I hear "That’s not who we are" once more as an excuse, I will throw up!! We DEFINITELY need someone who has new ideas and isn't afraid to ruffle some feathers to see them work!!
