New Study Has Some Bad News for Wind Energy Advocates

Original Article

Posted By: DVC, 12/2/2022 11:06:44 AM

A new peer reviewed study from German scientists found that offshore wind farms — the sort of supposedly "green" alternative to existing energy sources with which President Biden and Democrats want to fill America's coastal waters — are not as safe for marine ecosystems as their proponents may argue.  The researchers looked at one area and ecosystem in particular — the North Sea — where the world's largest offshore wind farm (OWF) opened earlier in 2022. Relying on modeling and simulations in order to see what the "systematic, large-scale, time-integrated response of the ocean to large OWF clusters" {snip] introduced factors that negatively impact sea life.

Comments:

Bad news for the ecocrazies. Wind farm in the oceans are estimated to cause a substantial disruption of wide ecosystems. They are NOT totally benign as the ecocrazies like to imagine.

So what? Wind farms in this country chop up raptors like cuisinarts and the enviros don't care, because "saving the planet" is more important than a few big birds. Their concern for endangered species and the environment is selective - if a nuclear power plant killed one raptor, it would be shut down. Wind farms get a pass.

Can anyone explain what the "bad" news is here? Seems like a collection of harmless speculations generated to renew a grant to me,

Re #3, the point, obviously to those with an open mind, which apparently is unavailable in Iowa, is that the exact same sort of "computer modeling" that is trusted by the ecocrazies when predicting dire events in "climate change", shows that wind farms are not harmless, as ASSUMED. Of course, somehow "computer modeling" is converted to "harmless speculation" when crossing the border into Iowa,

Maybe there is hope! If it's proven that a fish is disturbed in any way it may all be shut down. Witness California salmon and minnows as opposed to hydroelectric dams and irrigation water.

It's only bad news for the Eco-crazies if their lapdog media report this and stick with it until the ineffective and unsustainable "green" policies change to reflect this. As long as those with a say-so about content and tone of reporting are dogmatic watermelons, the 'green' fraud will survive to steer human society into the ditch.

I find it amazing that "political science experts" can shown scientifically that solar farms and wind generators are good for the environment. They insist that CO2 which enables plant growth is bad while not paying any attention at all too how solar and especially wind generators will effect movement of wind and water effecting weather patterns in all sorts of ways and ocean currents to boot.

It is currently 15F at my domicile. Less than 20% of available power is from wind and solar and 0% from storage backup - expended overnight. The sun is up but wind is diminishing. The materials needed to build these "eco friendly" generators must be mined and processed, smelted and preformed, machined, assembled and installed and requiring "fossil fuel" transportation at every stage. They all have a lifetime expectancy of around 20 years and begin losing efficiency immediately. Immense amounts of concrete must be poured for the wind generator foundations. The energy expended will likely never be recovered. But they create "good jobs". Amazing how the pols and greenies claim concern about future generations while they pocket their share today

Mitt Romney’s niece, Ronna McDaniel, cannot be very happy. The current head of the Republican National Committee failed to lead Republicans to a massive victory in a mid-term election that should have been a sure thing, she’s been exposed for presiding over extravagant spending with donor money, and she’s fighting for her seat against Harmeet Dhillon, a lawyer and highly respected defender of conservative interests. McDaniel is in a hole, but she couldn’t resist trying to take a dig at Charlie Kirk, the founder of Turning Point USA and a Dhillon supporter. Kirk walked away unscathed. McDaniel ended up buried.

Fresh from a court victory granting her the right to examine a random sample of Arizona's ballots from its skeezy midterm election, Kari Lake has managed to notch another advance in her quest to halt the obviously fraudulent election of her Democrat rival, Katie Hobbs. According to Just The News, citing the results of a public records request from America First Legal Foundation: Recently disclosed internal communications between top election officials in Arizona's Maricopa County in the immediate aftermath of Election Day reveal that they struggled to reconcile a discrepancy of almost 16,000 in outstanding ballot totals.

Authorities are investigating at least three shootings this week when the victim of a robbery or burglary shot the people allegedly committing the crimes. Since Sunday, three people have been shot in Houston while authorities say they were attempting robberies. Of the three people shot, two of them died. "The way society is going, more and more people are going to look to that and say hey look, the officers can’t defend us because there’s not enough of them to be here," said Douglas Griffith, President of the Houston Police Officers’ Union. "So, they are going to take matters into their own hands."

The Climate Cult worships two green idols: electric vehicles and wind-solar energy. This is part of a futile U.N. scheme promoting "Net Zero Emissions," which aims to cool the climate of the world by waging war on CO2 plant food. Green worship is the state religion of all Western nations. It is promoted by billionaires with other agendas and endlessly repeated by the U.N., the bureaucracy, all government media, state education, and most big business leaders. The promotion of electric cars and trucks will cause a great increase in the demand for electricity to replace diesel, petrol, and gas.

The huge protests engulfing China right now against lockdowns have left a lot of people wondering if these are just protests. The size, and scope, and vehemence, and fearlessness of the Chinese public against their very oppressive communist masters has made them appear to be a mass movement. In Shanghai, they are calling for the ouster of the entire Communist Party of China. When a billion-strong nation rises up on a cause that has unified them such as this, there's clearly the scent of revolution in the air. The New York Times did a huge spread on the matter this morning, and it is worth looking at here.

On October 19, in the heat of an election campaign, President Biden told the American people, “We need to increase oil production.” He went on to say, “My administration has not stopped or slowed U.S. oil production.” It was a disingenuous statement from a man whose sense of reality, fact, and fiction have become an undecipherable narrative. Biden failed to mention the executive order he issued which stipulates, “the Secretary of the Interior shall pause new oil and natural gas leases on public lands or in offshore waters.” This pause is ongoing.

Probably an unprecedented number of Americans with grown children will be alone this Christmas because their children will neither visit them nor invite them for the holiday dinner. In some rare instances of horrific parental behavior, this may be excusable, but when the reason is politics, it is inexcusable.(snip) In virtually every case, the parent is conservative, and the child is on the Left.
