The Left, the NeverTrump Right, and many independents are tiring of Donald Trump’s recitations of prior, however justified, grievances at the hands of the media, the Democratic Party, the administrative state, and hard-core Left. The conventional wisdom runs that Trump’s whines and victimization recitations reveal deep paranoias, and increasingly to an obsessive degree. We are told that his near neurotic obsessions with the unfairness of his critics are alienating the independent voter, who finds Trump’s strolls down 2020-21 memory lane the same-old, same-old ad nauseam.

VDH seems to have lost his way recently with his own relatively mild case of TDS. He writes, "Trump was certainly reckless in cheering on volatile demonstrations on January 6, 2021." Where is the evidence for this? President Trump urged his followers to be peaceful in exercising their Constitutional rights.

I always viewed Trump was painted the equivalent of the WWE wrestling villain. Now, everybody boo. The irony is many of the 'bad guys' in wrestling were more popular with the audience than the 'good guys'. Regardless, it's a stage production. So is the vilification of Donald Trump Millions of people fell for it. Don't forget to boo Trump now.

VDH going squishy is concerning. He's been hanging out with the media too much since his retirement from academia. Donald J. Trump is not Captain Queeg. You would think a historian of his stature would recognize a transformative historical figure living in his own time. President Trump is a great man, but he is still a man. He's a man of extremes; in his physique, intellect, humor, foibles, strengths and weaknesses. He loves America with a passion so huge he sacrificed a personal golden life of luxury to save her from sure destruction. He has given his all to Make America Great Again. He has sacrificed the privacy of his home, his family's security and put his personal freedom at risk for every American...even those that hate and despise him. His enemies will do everything in their power to keep him from his rightful presidency. He will not give up. He will not give in. We can not let him stand alone. Our country was founded on the sure belief in God and His Providence. We must return in faithfulness to God. First in our homes; begin daily prayer with your families. Second, return to your churches; invite family and friends to join you. Public, communal worship is important. For the unchurched, there is a faith community out there for you - an ember alone soon looses its glow. Read and meditate on Holy Scripture; pray and fast. First and foremost we are in spiritual warfare; without prayer fortification first, our political efforts will not bare fruit. We live in exciting times. Its the First Week of Advent. Our Savior is Coming! AMDG then MAGA!

A conservative site did an unscientific poll about GOP candidates and 2024 last week; DeSantis was at the top almost 2:1 over Trump. After the shock wore off I had to say that while I want Trump back because his track record cries out for a second term, one has to wonder if we also need the obstructionism of the GOPe and the TDS crowd to stymie us when we're up to our gluts in alligators? I don't trust DeSantis as far as I can throw him but if Trump doesn't get out there and give us a vision instead of a rehash of the 2020 larceny then I can see the Dems lined up to help him secure the nomination, just as they have in other places. We've seen that the red wave was nothing more than a old guy with an enlarged prostate

10, I see no difference between a non-conservative Republican and Pelosi, AOC and the rest of the America hating trash. I -only- vote for people I -want- to win. I -never- vote for the lesser evil. You get to the same place, just a little slower. I will -never- vote for the lesser evil. They are still evil and undeserving of my support. My voting for those horrible people you are saying with your vote you want more of what they've already done to this country. I do not. Given a choice between, say, Mike Pence and AOC, I will leave that part of the ballot blank by writing in Mickey Mouse. Thank you, this is great advice... if you want conservatives in office. If you aren't really conservative then go ahead and vote for Pence. That's on you when he does a George Bush and wrecks the country. I will not vote for such a man. Summary: A vote is a positive affirmation of voter's desire for candidate to be in office. I do not desire non-conservatives in office. Therefore I will not vote for non-conservatives no matter what silly meaningless letter is next to their name. I can explain what it means to be a conservative. It's a life philosophy. Can you explain what it means to be a Republican? I can't. It's just an empty word.

Yesterday morning, Resident RINO Mitch McConnell addressed a crowd of reporters; but instead of embracing the role he’s hired to do — advance political conservatism — he took the opportunity to attack President Trump. For many Republicans, the final midterm election results were surprising— especially in the states of Arizona, Nevada, and Pennsylvania. Based on polling, it looked likely that Kari Lake, Adam Laxalt, and Mehmet Oz would win their contests. I believe that there are only three likely explanations for the unexpected results: late campaign surges, polling error, or aggressive ballot-harvesting. A late surge? Some Republicans are falling for an illogical narrative put forth by Democrats and the mainstream media.

The United States Senate voted to enshrine the right to same-sex and interracial marriage into federal law on Tuesday.  The Respect For Marriage Act passed on a 61-36 vote. Eleven Republicans voted with Democrats on the measure. It now heads back to the House of Representatives, where it's likely to pass the Democrat-controlled chamber swiftly enough to head to President Joe Biden's desk before the current Congressional term is over.  Democrat Senator Tammy Baldwin, who helped spearhead the bill, appeared emotional on the chamber floor before the final vote.

The 55th speaker of the House is in a position to set policies and priorities in contrast to Joe Biden, and in the process make the case that a Republican belongs back in the White House in 2024. Doing so means that McCarthy and his lieutenants will have to demonstrate they understand the value of playing the long game. Even in a complicated political environment,

Several top conservatives are warning that if House GOP leader Kevin McCarthy, the Republican nominee for Speaker of the House, does not win the speakership election on the floor of the House on Jan. 3, 2023, a “doomsday scenario” could emerge where Democrats undercut GOP power. In such a scenario, concerns are rising that so-called moderate—or establishment Republicans—are willing to band together to make a deal with the Democrats to elect a moderate Republican as speaker with Democrat votes in exchange for a House rules change that hands the incoming Democrat minority significant power over how subpoenas can be issued.

WASHINGTON — President Joe Biden hails unions at almost every turn, often declaring "unions built the middle class" and that his goal is to be "the most pro-union president" in U.S. history. But as he urges Congress to intervene in a labor dispute to avert a freight rail strike before the holidays, the president is facing a backlash from labor allies. Union workers hoped to secure paid sick leave in a final contract, among other assurances, but congressional action pushed by Biden would force some terms they oppose. "The actions speak for themselves. Don't tell me what you are. Show me

CNN This Moring co-host Don Lemon travelled over to CBS and The Late Show with Stephen Colbert on Tuesday to promote the show and insist that “I don’t think we were liberal” when speaking about the pre-Chris Licht era. Colbert asked about changes to the network under Licht, “The word on the street is you guys aren't allowed to be liberal anymore? Is that the case?” (Video) Lemon laughably argued that, “I don't think we ever were liberal.” After a somewhat surprised Colbert replied with a simple “What?,” Lemon doubled down, “Yes, I don't think we ever were liberal.” Not only was CNN liberal, it still is, but trying to get Lemon to expand

New York - New York City Mayor Eric Adams says the NYPD, FDNY, and other city agencies will start forcing homeless people who are determined to be suffering a "mental health crisis" off the streets and out of the subway system. They will be taken to a hospital for evaluation even if they refuse to go on their own. Adams says, "It is appropriate to use this process when a person refuses voluntary assistance and it appears that they are suffering from mental illness and are a danger to themselves due to an inability to meet their basic needs. We believe this is the first time
