President Biden met with congressional leaders of both parties on Tuesday to discuss lame-duck session priorities, including passing legislation to avert a looming rail strike that could devastate the U.S. economy.
'I asked for Congress, whether they'd be willing to come in and talk about what we're going to do between now and Christmas in terms of legislation,' Biden said at the top of the meeting. 'There's a lot to do in resolving the rail strike,' Biden said.
'Congress has to act to prevent it. It's not an easy call, but I think we have to do it - the economy's at risk.'

Joe claimed he's solved this right before elections. He lied. But the Union let the lie stand. Scroo'm. Tiny Tim already has lots of toys.

After decades of lie-beral indoctrination, unions are full of spoiled lie-berals who know they have all the power.
If you force them to work, expect skyrocketing "error" and "accident" rates, out and out sabotage, lots and lots of union members suddenly "sick" several times a week, and basically anything and everything they have to do to totally shut down the system without "going on strike".
Anyone with more than 6 working brain cells would know this. But Senile Joe bidet and his entire administration don't have 6 working brain cells between the lot of them, so that is kind of a moot point...

This is more of Biden's idiotic former boss Obama's saying of don't underestimate Joe's ability to fluck things up.

There never was a "Deal", the only agreement was to kick the can down the road until past the election,where/when if Dems were victorious(with the help of $MILLLIONS$$$ of RR Union donations)....they would force the dirty rotten, capitalistic Corporations to unconditionally surrender and grant any wish the Dems/unions demanded.. The glitch now is that RR's, many owned by Warren Buffet et al, ALSO donated $$MILLIONS to Dems, If Repubs don't vote to "Cover" there will be an intraparty knife fight between the two sets of beholden Dems.

May be a trap for Republicans set by Biden and unions. If Republicans don’t support and they strike, it’s all the Republicans fault. If Republicans support and strike is stopped Biden wins.

If a rail strike "...could devastate the U.S. economy"
then why would Biden stop it. In fact it would only speed up
what he/they want to happen to the U.S anyway.

The administration makes a mess and expects the Congress to fix it.
Congress makes the laws.
The administration administers the laws. If the administration recognizes its inability, staff changes need to be made.
(Too many members of this administration self-identify as teen-agers. They do nothing and expect other people to carry their load.)

From what Schumer and Pelosi said after the meeting at the White House it appears that the wimpy Republicans are going to cave and help the Democrats pass a bill to stop the possible railroad workers strike from occurring thus getting Biden off the hook for pushing the railroad workers strike beyond the Midterm election.

Typical Slo Jo. Screaming for someone else to clean up his mess. Reminds me of a five-year-old child. Destroy the toys by taking them apart piece-by-piece and then scream for Mommy and Daddy to fix everything. Beyond Pathetic.

Bidet calls on others to do his job so he can blame them for not doing it since he has failed to do it.

Whoa, didn't Lame Duck fix the railroads? He told us so. So did he and KJP lie to us? Yep they did. The Republicans should bargain for something before providing support. But they won't.

This seems to be looking more of a set-up.
They want to blame the Republicans, but they won't take over the House until January.

Lesson to the American people who vote: don't vote for someone who is approaching senility, is corrupted beyond recoverability, continues to have episodes of mirage appearances, is morally undeveloped, constructs facts and figures to fit any and all situations, is held together with some kind of injected material that enhances his/her memory uptake etc - in other words anyone not a demcommie but preferably someone named Trump
