Senate Republicans to Vote on Mitch McConnell’s
Leadership Reelection November 16

Original Article

Senate Republicans will hold its leadership vote on November 16, an election that will determine whether Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-KY) will remain the top Republican in the Senate, Politico reported. McConnell has stated he wants to remain the GOP leader, which would pave the way for his top lieutenants to remain in their positions. Sen. John Thune (R-SD) is reportedly planning to remain the Senate whip and Sen. John Barrasso (R-KY) the chair of the Senate Republican Conference. Sen. Steve Daines (R-MT) is reportedly expected to replace Sen. Rick Scott (R-FL) as chair of the National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC).

Mitch McConnell does not deserve to remain as the Republican Senate Majority Leader. Mitch McConnell did nothing to assist with the Republicans regaining the Senate Majority. By all appearances, he lent little to no support to Republican candidates and went as far as abandoning some. McConnell seemed to not even know that there was an election going on with possible control of the Senate up for grabs. He seemed more interested in drinking Kentucky Bourbon in the back rooms with his Democrat friends and making deals to keep his power than winning back the Senate and helping his Republican colleagues.

It should be an easy choice. Forget McConnell’s unpopularity with Americans. His total inability to communicate. His lack of any vision. Forget all that, even though these flaws make him unfit for leadership. Focus instead on the millions of dollars he showered on Lisa Murkowski instead of spending the cash to get Blake Masters and Walker a win, which would give the Republicans control of the Senate. With no money spent Alaska will send a Republican to the Senate. McConnell has screwed his own people. For that alone he should go.

Ditch MITCH as quickly as possible. In fact, do not EVER allow him into any position of leadership. He is way more of a democrat defender than a promoter of republican values and issues and people. And ditch all of his stooges, like Barrasso and especially Thune and then a guy named Daines? Never heard of that guy. Yeah, he's a real standout. Quite frankly, while I like Tim Scott, once again Trump is wrong about personnel. Tim Scott is totally wrong for the position of majority leader. We need a gutter fighter. Someone that can get down in the mud and wrestle with the scum democrats. Someone that is not afraid to mix it up, someone who is not afraid to be gutted like a fish by the criminal democrat media. Someone with HUGE shoulders and balls, man or woman. Tim Scott, nice guy, just doesn't have it. I would much rather see Rand Paul, Ted Cruz or Josh Hawley. Unfortunately, I can't think of a take no prisoners woman Republican senator that would also fit that bill. So sorry Sarah Palin is not in the Senate. Ditch Mitch and his stooges as quickly as possible.

Nevada voters have chosen Republican Clark County Sheriff Joe Lombardo to replace Democrat Gov. Steve Sisolak rather than experience a second term under his leadership, the Nevada Independent projected on Friday night. The Nevada Independent projected Lombardo’s victory several days after the midterm election, following vote counting delays in several counties. The New York Times shows Trump-endorsed Lombardo a little more than two points ahead of Sisolak, 49.2 percent to 47.0 percent with 93 percent of the vote counted.

China is close to introducing its most advanced stealth bomber yet, as the country continues to expand its air force. The H-20 bomber is seen as China's answer to the US B-21 Raider. The US defence department estimates a cruising distance of more than 5,300 miles for the H-20, the last in China's "20 series" new-generation warplanes, which will double the country's strike range. "The aircraft is ready to be introduced, it's just a matter of choosing the right timing," an insider, who requested anonymity due to the sensitivity of the matter, told the South China Morning Post.

The very trip she lied about, claiming she had landed “under sniper fire.”

The Torah describes the wickedness of Sodom as being pervasive enough to be punished by G od's destruction of the city. There were not even ten righteous people in the entire city. When the men of Sodom surrounded Lot's home with the intention of doing harm to Lot's guests, the Torah informs us that the wicked group included "both young and old, all the people from every quarter" (Genesis 19:4). Is it really possible for an entire city to be so steeped in evil? How can we imagine a town so corrupt that not even ten good people lived there?

The president made his bold (and likely unrealistic) pronouncement during his post-midterm election press conference on Wednesday when recalling how a congressman in the state of Pennsylvania asked if his infrastructure plan would include a high-speed rail between the two cities. “We can. First of all, it will make it a lot easier to take a lot of vehicles off the road, and we have more money in the pot now already out there that we voted for than the entire money that we spend on Amtrak, to begin with,” he said.
