Nevada incumbent Sen. Catherine Cortez Masto survived a challenge, defeating Republican Adam Laxalt and helping Democrats hold onto U.S. Senate, according to the Associated Press call of the race.
Nevada was one of Republicans' top targets as they tried to break the Senate's 50-50 split, and Cortez Masto's reelection was a toss-up coming into the election. She was running neck and neck with Laxalt, Nevada's former attorney general who has been endorsed by former President Donald Trump.
Cortez Masto served two terms as Nevada's attorney general before becoming the first Latina ever elected to the U.S. Senate in 2016. She campaigned on women's reproductive rights,

Eff Democrats—every single one of them. Same to RINOs too. McConnell, Tillis, Burr, Graham, Collins, Romney, Thune, etc.

That's not even a 1% margin. How is that not an automatic recount?

Good Job Mitch "MultiUseless" McConnell. Chuck Schumer hopes that you'll be the "Leader" till you're 100 years old even though you're turning 81 in February. Now, get back to writing those stern letters underneath your desk and Chuck will edit what stays in, what stays out. Hey Mitch, what's on the lunch menu today?

Republican strategy is to convince their supporters to go vote. Democrats go into the field with fistfuls of ballots, find anyone with a live body, fill the ballot out, and take the ballots to a dropbox. Democrats hold the race open, get fed the number of votes they need, and go into the field to get them. Republicans wait for the results to come in, which will always be they lost by a small margin. As things are going, if the Republicans even take the House, it will only be by a couple of seats.

In the article NPR reports that the Associated Press calls the election for the Democrat. I was unaware that calling the winner for all to report was the AP"s job. Isn't the State of Nevada responsible to name their winners? What if the AP is wrong?

How about that -- every time (not just most of the time, but every time) there is a close election that requires counting mail-in ballots, the Democrats prevail. In the past two days, 11 of the most recently decided races have gone to the Democrat candidate (and none to the GOP candidate). The Dems might win the House after all. We're being robbed blind and our Republican leaders don't say or do a thing -- they just sit there and let it happen. And if any of us says anything about fraud, we're election deniers.

I fully expected rampant fraud, but still held out hope that large numbers of highly-motivated, dissatisfied voters could overcome the fraud in some areas. That hope is gone. Democrats have taken what they need. The House won’t flip either and Kari Lake isn’t going to prevail in Arizona and expose the election corruption. These are dark days. I weep for my children and grandchildren.

#5 - Don't lose any sleep over it. Nevada was among the hardest hit states after the housing collapse and in 2010 had one of the highest unemployment rates in the nation, yet they re-elected the crook from Searchlight (for the fourth time) over Sharon Angle.

Another time they prove if they can drag it out long enough, they will "somehow" muster enough demonrat votes to pull it off. I'm sick of these cheaters!

This election was again rife with voter fraud of which Republicans cannot and will not talk about. Results in Nevada and Arizona are highly suspect. Michigan results are the usual joke. Nothing will be done. Republicans are too gutless to address this. Get used to losing.

Of course she won. The sorry ass RNC and Mitch McCain weren't going to settle for anything else. They don't want their gravy train derailed.

Laxalt should demand a recount. He may not win, but citizens in Nevada will see for themselves how corrupt their election system is. Their new governor is a Republican and a former sheriff. He'll ask the state legislature for changes, especially if the people demand them.
Meanwhile, (and this is fascinating,) people in blue states who are disgusted with Dems in general and their cheating in particular are moving to red states. There are super-majorities in Florida, Texas, South Carolina, Tennessee, Arkansas and others. I'm cheered that New York now has 11 Republicans in Congress! Could New York become a purple state?
The cheating is infuriating; the law of unintended consequences never occurs to the dummy Dems.
