Republicans are keeping a firm grip on their attempt to retake control of Congress, showing a massive lead over Democrats just three weeks away from the midterm elections, according to a new Rasmussen poll. Forty-eight percent of likely U.S. voters reported that they would vote Republican if the election was held today, compared to 41% who said they would vote Democratic, according to the poll. The poll shows a continuously climbing lead for Republicans compared to last week when Republicans were at 47% and Democrats were at 43%.

Comments:

This poll shows that 41% of the people polled are idiots. Trump is the victim of non stop harrassments, persecutions from the radicals, communists.. What is this RESIDENT in the WH doing to this country??? Massive bidenflation, drug cartels, outpouring of fentanyl in every state's, homelessness.. when are the Americans going to open their eyes???

Opinion polls are irrelevant, other than as a tool to get people to sit in their recliner. The voting polls are irrelevant as long as Dominion machines are still in 27 states.

We're believing polls again. FTA: "Breaking down the electorate by income categories, Democrats lead by 12 points, 51% to 39%, among voters with annual incomes over $200,000, while Republicans have a 12-point advantage among those earning between $30,000 and $50,000 a year." The well-heeled are the "commies", the proletarians "reactionary"...a real role switch. FTA: "Republicans now hold strong majorities among both government employees and retirees, while private sector workers are almost evenly divided, with 44% for Democrats and 43% for Republicans." This must include state and local bureaucrats in fly-over country. Teachers and Federal employees/retirees...not so much.

President Joe Biden stayed overnight in downtown Portland and tried to give a morale boost to Oregon Democrats anxious about losing their 36-year hold on the governor’s office. The president’s visit was part of a West Coast tour designed to shore up what traditionally has been a reliable bloc of blue states. The president today delivered remarks at the East Portland Community Center on lowering the costs of prescription medication—a win he shared with U.S. Sen. Ron Wyden (D-Ore.). He also made a now-traditional stop for ice cream—at a Baskin-Robbins in Gresham.

For the last eight years, a group of publicly unknown activists in Ukraine have been compiling lists of ‘enemies of the people’ with impunity. Hundreds of thousands have been declared criminals without trial. Among them are not only Russian citizens, but also Ukrainian opposition figures and bloggers, European politicians, and US citizens. At the very least, being added to this list is a stigma that makes life difficult in Ukraine, but it can also serve as justification for imprisonment or, in some cases, even being killed. This is exactly what happened last summer to Daria Dugina, who’s name also can be found on that list.

It was hand-selected by the partisan January 6 committee to show the American public on primetime cable television. There are still 14,000 hours of footage from January 6 that the Department of Justice won’t allow the American people to see, presumably because it would damage its ability to prosecute J6 political prisoners in court. Approximately thirty seconds into CNN’s presentation of the Democrat-selected footage, there is a suspect appearance of “mystery man” Ray Epps.

Politics is fun, isn’t it? You can play with the truth all you want, and, as long as you’re a member of the right party, you can throw all the crap you want against a wall just to see what sticks. And no one of any significance will say a word. Of course, that’s only true if you’re a Democrat. That’s why when Joe Biden deadpanned that prices would rise if Republicans were elected, no one laughed — out loud, at least. “Here’s the bottom line. So please hear this. When it actually comes time to do something about inflation around the table, Republicans in Congress are saying ‘no,'”

Only 33% of Americans would vote to reelect President Biden if the 2024 election were held today — and 54% would cast their ballot for another candidate, according to a Fox News poll released Sunday. The 33% who would vote for Biden — 21% definitely and 12% probably — mark a drop of 3 percentage points since January, while the percentage who would opt for someone else fell from 60% to 54% in that period, the survey found. The poll also shows that while 71% of Democrats would vote to reelect the president, 19% would not, along with 91% of Republicans and 54% of independents.

Talk of a second civil war among liberal journalists, television personalities and lawmakers has become increasingly commonplace following the raid on former President Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home on Aug. 8, after which liberal pundits repeatedly claimed on-air that evolving distrust for the U.S. government among Trump supporters would lead to escalated political violence. The segment clearly aimed at demonizing the Republican stronghold state governed by possible 2024 contender Ron DeSantis, a strategy that host Tiffany Cross has routinely employed on her show. Cross really leaned into it this time, introducing the discussion by calling Florida a "haven of hate"
