Paul Ryan says Trump will not be 2024 nominee

Original Article

Posted By: Black Conservative Voice, 10/16/2022 5:45:51 AM

Paul Ryan said he does not believe former president Donald Trump would be the GOP’s 2024 nominee for president. The one-time Republican House speaker — who has had an acrimonious relationship with Trump — offered a blistering assessment Thursday during an interview with Teneo, a D.C. consulting shop where he serves as a vice-chairman.

Comments:

One thing is for sure. Ryan will not be anything.

Ryan's opinion is worthless. What a rotten, backstabbing idiot. I have never been quite certain if he is actually as stupid and slow witted as he came across in the VP debate against Joe, or if that was an act to intentionally lose the election. Either way, it is a very good thing to keep Ryan far away from any form of political power.

On Friday, Biden addressed the 27th annual climate conference and said that the US is a “world leader” in taking actions to tackle the worsening climate crisis. However, the statement was not well received by young protesters in the audience, who erupted into protests with banners and the chanting of slogans, according to The Independent. The activists were protesting against the use of fossil fuels, and stood up to interrupt Biden by loudly chanting sounds, thus forcing the president to take a brief pause before resuming his address. Following the disruption, security officials at the scene urged the activists to lower their banners and subsequently escorted them outside the conference’s venue.

Brexit leader Nigel Farage predicted that a “titanic clash” is brewing between Donald Trump and Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, the two leading contenders for the Republican nomination for President in 2024. Speaking from the mid-term battleground state of Arizona on Wednesday morning, Nigel Farage said that while Republican gains in Congress will limit President Biden’s ability to govern, the failure of a so-called ‘Red Wave’ to materialise will likely elevate Ron DeSantis in the eyes of conservative voters as it will not provide the “huge springboard” Donald Trump had hoped for before his expected announcement of his intention to run for president again.

Senator Rick Scott, chairman of the National Republican Senatorial Committee, on Friday called the 2022 midterm elections a “complete disappointment.” “Here’s what happened to us: Election Day, our voters didn’t show up, we didn’t get enough voters. Host Sean Hannity asked, “Where did all this pie in the sky talk about a wave and a tsunami election come from? Because I never saw it.”
