Only 33% of Americans would vote to reelect President Biden if the 2024 election were held today — and 54% would cast their ballot for another candidate, according to a Fox News poll released Sunday. The 33% who would vote for Biden — 21% definitely and 12% probably — mark a drop of 3 percentage points since January, while the percentage who would opt for someone else fell from 60% to 54% in that period, the survey found. The poll also shows that while 71% of Democrats would vote to reelect the president, 19% would not, along with 91% of Republicans and 54% of independents.

Missing Princeton student Misrach Ewunetie was found dead Thursday — six days after she vanished, local officials announced.
The 20-year-old’s body was found behind the tennis courts near the edge of the Ivy League campus by a facilities employee, the office of the Mercer County Prosecutor said.
Authorities said they do not know her cause of death but noted that “there were no obvious signs of injury and her death does not appear suspicious or criminal in nature.” Her body was located around 1 p.m. Thursday.
The Ivy League school also said in a statement that police do not believe there was foul play in Ewunetie’s death.

Kotek said that residents "need to feel safe" in the state and that she has "always supported" Oregon's police but thinks they should be held "accountable." Republican opponent Christine Drazan countered that Kotek "did not support police even when rioters were attacking a police station" during Portland's 2020 George Floyd-inspired protests. She called Kotek "the original defund-the-police candidate."

The Social Security Administration announced this week that people will now be able to select the sex that most aligns with their “gender identity” in records going forward.
According to a press release from the SSA, the policy was created to be more inclusive to “transgender” and “gender diverse” Americans.

White House Chief of Staff Ron Klain praised Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell on Thursday for supporting Ukraine in combating Russian aggression.
Klain said McConnell has been the one of the administration’s “strongest supporters” in voicing support for Ukraine and its fight against Russian President Vladimir Putin’s aggression, arguing that condemning the war should not be a partisan issue.
