Biden Warns That If Republicans Are Elected,
'Prices Are Going to Go Up'

Original Article

Politics is fun, isn’t it? You can play with the truth all you want, and, as long as you’re a member of the right party, you can throw all the crap you want against a wall just to see what sticks. And no one of any significance will say a word. Of course, that’s only true if you’re a Democrat. That’s why when Joe Biden deadpanned that prices would rise if Republicans were elected, no one laughed — out loud, at least. “Here’s the bottom line. So please hear this. When it actually comes time to do something about inflation around the table, Republicans in Congress are saying ‘no,'”

The inflation is already cooked into our economy regardless of who is in charge thanks to F Joe Biden's policies. It will likely never go away. If we are lucky GDP will eventually rise to a level that will offset it. That's not likely either as long as the government keeps on spending money they don't have.

Re: reply #1 got it right. The policies that Biden and the Democrats have rammed through in the last year and a half will take even longer to reverse. And, with Biden in office for two more years, he will do everything possible to to obstruct the Republicans efforts. The best that can be expected is that the inflation will be reduced from what it would be if the Democrats retained total control. Obama famously said, “You can never over estimate Joe’s ability to f*** things up.” With the Democrats backing everything Biden does, it is like the House and Senate are controlled by an army of Biden clones. Heaven help us if they are not voted out of office.

Slow Biden's comment is correct because when Republicans are elected they immediately ignore their campaign promises and begin going after as much money as they can while they can. Once elected, Republicans are no different than Democrats when it comes to the country's financial condition and taking action to correct it.

Back in 1980 everyone thought inflation would never go away. At first when Reagan was elected inflation got a bit worse but within a year you could see signs it was breaking. By the time Reagan was running for his 2nd term everyone could see that we had turned a corner on inflation and the economy was starting to grow like it had not done in years. It took 35 years for the Democrats to screw it up again.

UNTIL the mid-terms, then watch 'em take off! Then, as the increased cost to produce and transport everything increases with the fuel cost, the price of everything has gone up. In a couple of weeks, John Fetterman will be back home in Braddock, Penn., in his loft apartment, playing with his kids and continuing to recover from what we now know was a devastating stroke. It’s what he should have been doing since he suffered the stroke in May. But because he and his campaign hid the severity of his condition from the media, his party, and especially his opponent, Mehmet Oz, it came as a shock to see the 49-year-old giant of a man in such a confused state. Whether it was due to hubris or simple denial of reality, Fetterman’s vulnerabilities were exposed for all to see.

So few of the policies comport with basic common sense that I'm asked the same question over and over: Is Biden intentionally trying to take a wrecking ball to the economy? Biden keeps saying that he wants to be a historic president who will "transition" the country into a new worker's paradise where no one uses fossil fuels or electricity or cars and equality is paramount, ahead of growth and prosperity.
