Flu off to an early start as CDC warns
about potentially severe season

Original Article

Reports of flu and other respiratory illnesses are higher than what would normally be seen in the U.S. at this time of year, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said Thursday. "We've noted that flu activity is starting to increase across much of the country," especially in the Southeast and south-central U.S., the CDC's director, Dr. Rochelle Walensky, told NBC News. "Not everybody got flu vaccinated last year, and many people did not get the flu. So that makes us ripe to have potentially a severe flu season."(Snip)"Flu is on the rise, but it's also all of these other viruses that got knocked off kilter," Esper said.

Comments:

CDC is now counting the flu as the flu again and not Covid-19, as they did when they were hyping The Great Pandemic. That, coupled with people's immune systems being ruined thanks to the shots they pushed, means they now say the flu and a variety of other viral diseases are on the rise. CDC is funded through our tax dollars. Has even a single Republican vowed to shut it down?

"Rochelle" can't be trusted to be honest about being male or female, and we're supposed to trust him to be honest about politically-compromised medical issues? Our media are still pumping out a continual stream of propaganda for the covid "vaccine", and that propaganda keeps the memory fresh in my mind of how the CDC drove the dampanic hysteria and draconian governmental reactions. I don't know if I'll ever trust the medical establishment again after that long and swampy experience. "and many people did not get the flu." Plenty of people got the flu last year and the year before -- virtually every case of flu was recorded as another case of covid-19, though (which is part of the same family of viruses, anyway).

The CDC has a budget in excess of $12 billion and approximately 15,000, including 6,000 contractors. Far more than 50% are "working" from home and it is probable none has lost a cent from the COVID. These are excellent examples of federal government waste and inefficiency. If these were reduced by 90% no one would notice except these individuals.

So, what to do, Walensky? Either bombard my body with another covid vax booster as you and the left prefer or hit my 70-year old system with yet another flu vax as you again prefer? Sorry, CDC, I am not sold on your flu warning. Is this just another "follow the money" beg-a-thon? If legit (how would I know?), fine, but show me the beef first.
