PORTLAND, Ore. – Betsy Johnson is not running for Miss Congeniality. The longtime Democrat now running for governor of Oregon as an unaffiliated candidate is more likely to drop a swear word than a political platitude. When voters asked if she would repeal Oregon's drug decriminalization law, she responded, "Hell yes." On education, she declared, "Let's not worry about pronouns. Let's worry about mathematics."I am not beholden to any political agenda or ideology, and I'm certainly not running to do something other than fix a place I love," Johnson told Fox News.

A blue dog D'Rat. Who knew? I thought they were extinct. Maybe just enough votes to make sure Oregon elects a Republican?

This tactic is a tried and worn Democrap trick...another Democrap sounding somewhat conservative will only take votes from the REAL Republican...DO NOT FALL FOR IT!

Actually OP, I think she is being 'encouraged' to pull a Ross Perot and divide the vote. Drazan is pulling far enough ahead, and combine that with all the polls that are leaning right this year, I think Johnson is an arrogant you-know-what who is going to completely finish the job that Brown started. The worst disaster would be if Kotek gets elected. She is hard core lesbian, and known in political circles as a very nasty female. She will make John Kitzhaber and Brown look like Sunday school marms.

Sounds to me like another RAT trick. They're worried some of the folks on the usual D plantation will decide to vote for the Republican and that just isn't allowed. So, throw a second candidate in the race and hope some of the D plantation dwellers in Portland and elsewhere think they can go that direction instead. That way, one of the D candidates will get 34% of the vote. Which one, who cares?

Maybe Kotek(x) is a bridge too far, even for liberal Oregon. Drazan just picked up some much-needed campaign cash from Nike's Phil Knight.

I always thought Kalifornia led the country in weird liberal ways, but in the past couple of years, it's been apparent to me, that Oregon is the stealth leader in political craziness.

Are Democrats trying to incite an insurrection? The party's rhetoric on the "existential threat" of so-called climate change has grown increasingly radical and vitriolic of late, its policy solutions alarmingly anti-democratic in nature. Given the way some Democratic politicians have implicitly endorsed subversive tactics to enact their controversial agenda, one can't help but wonder why outraged liberal voters aren't storming the U.S. Capitol building at this very moment.

On June 28, Illinois held its gubernatorial primary election, which featured several Republican candidates, including Aurora Mayor Richard Irvin, State Senator Darren Bailey, and political outsider Jesse Sullivan. Irvin, a popular local official who happens to be black, had been the favorite among the GOP candidates. But a funny thing happened in the months leading up to the vote. When the ballots were tallied, Irvin ended up in third place, well behind Bailey and the upstart Sullivan.

And these worries aren’t partisan, with a majority of all political groups, including Democrats, now expressing concern. In early August, we asked Americans: “Some people are concerned about President Biden’s mental health. How concerned are you about President Biden’s mental health?” At the time, a number of public displays of unsteadiness, confusion, and verbal gaffes seen in the media suggested to many that the nation’s commander-in-chief’s mental acuity was questionable.

The Democrat media, in conjunction with their allies in the polling industry, have driven the false narrative that the Democrats are likely to defy both history and their historically awful record and do fairly well in the midterms, particularly in Senate races. To borrow a word from Mr. 10%, this has always been malarkey. According to the outlet, the 30,000 cards were sent to non-citizens because of a mix-up with the formatting of the query involving DMV records. In Colorado, illegal immigrants are able to obtain a driver’s license, which was apparently the nexus of the issue. The postcards were mailed to residents last week who had non-citizen Colorado driver’s licenses. The state sends postcards every two years to Coloradans it believes are eligible to vote but not yet registered.
