When the Biden administration wanted an Instagram account mocking Dr. Anthony Fauci taken down last year, an official reached out to parent company Meta and got action literally within seconds. The July 20, 2021 incident, revealed in a newly surfaced email exchange, underscores the close communication between the Democrat White House and solicitous social media giants. “Hi there – any way we can get this pulled down? It is not actually one of ours,” wrote Clarke E. Humphrey, digital director for the Biden administration’s COVID-19 response team in an email time-stamped 1:24 p.m. Humphrey didn’t have to wait long for a reply.

The very definition of Fascism. The most enthusiastic Fascist of the 20th century, Benito Mussolini, stated that Fascism is the combining of government and corporate power. Facebook jumped very quickly at the government's command. They are Fascists and don't know it.

I thought the 1st amendment was to prevent the Government from censoring speech. I guess it's okay to use a middle man to censor speech on the Governments behalf. Doesn't Facebook enjoy a certain privilege that protects them from being sued by users because the Government gave them that protection? Like protecting Big Pharma from lawsuits surrounding the "Vaccines". The Government sure seems hellbent on protecting useful idiots from laws imposed on the rest of use. Go figure!

This is the definition of fascism, government directing private businesses and ordering them to do the government's dirty work.

Democrat Mary Peltola defeated Sarah Palin in the Alaska Special election to replace Rep. Don Young in Congress. She is the FIRST DEMOCRAT to win the House seat in solid red Alaska in 50 Years! Ranked-choice voting and mail-in ballots were implemented by referendum in 2020. Republicans allowed this to happen. Now the state is likely lost forever to Democrat cheating and maneuvering.

President Joe Biden’s speech was an attempt to vilify and demean conservatives who do not support his failed policies, Rev. Franklin Graham said Thursday. “Tonight President Biden said that MAGA threatens the very foundation of our republic. Really? I want to see America great again,” he wrote in a Facebook post. (snip) Graham also noted he did not want America turned into a socialist nation: "I don’t want to see it fail. Does believing in freedom, justice, opportunity, less taxes, and smaller government make me an extremist? Absolutely not. The ones who are extremists are the ones who want to take that away from us!"

Last night I got to thinking about how many posts I’ve written for Hot Air. I’ve looked at the total before but it never sticks in my mind. Big numbers seldom do. My guess was 15,000. The reality: 36,590. That’s six per day, every day. For 16 years. My takes may be terrible but I make it up on volume. This post, number 36,591, will be the last. (snip) Lastly, to those who spent the last seven years barking insults at me in the comments for not genuflecting to Trump, I’ll give you this: You’re not phonies. You believe what you say. We have that much in common.

The court ruled in favor of the archdiocese, which ordered the school to fire Payne-Elliot for breaking the contract.

Iowa Republican Sen. Charles Grassley excoriated the Biden Department of Justice and Attorney General Merrick Garland over a memo sent to DOJ employees warning them to go through an internal office when dealing with Congress. Garland issued the memo on Aug. 30 reminding personnel of longstanding DOJ policy that communications with Congress go through the Office of Legislative Affairs. (snip) The Attorney General insisted the memo was not intended to discourage whistleblowers from reporting issues to Congress, but it came amid a string of whistleblower allegations from within the FBI both before and after the bureau raided former President Donald Trump's estate.

Judge Dabney Friedrich, in a Thursday ruling, dismissed the suit.

Democratic House Speaker Nancy Pelosi repeatedly said abortion restrictions are “sinful,” standing in direct contradiction to her Catholic faith. When candidate Joe Biden promised that if elected president he would unite the country, did he think he could do it alienating roughly half the population? Or did he mean he would unite the Democrats and independents against the “MAGA Republicans”? Thursday’s speech clearly indicates what he had in mind was the latter. Whenever political leaders lose all political capital due to their misgovernance and have no real issues to base their campaign on, they often resort to focusing on the symbolic — usually referring to "the soul of the nation." This happened before in the U.S., it happened in India, it happened in the U.K. and it happened again in the U.S. This is most typical of the left. Instead of being humble and conceding their mistakes, they attack voters for thinking of voting against them while overlooking the myriad catastrophes they presided over. They often blame their opponents for what they are guilty of — bigotry, violence — and then end with the "soul" plea.

Republicans slammed Biden's speech as divisive while Trump said Biden was 'insane.' Biden toned down his tough talk on Friday, defending supporters of the former president.
