The school year has just begun but already pro-life college students are being targets of hostility on campus. On Wednesday, pro-life students at the University of Iowa said an angry student flipped over the College Republicans’ table and attempted to flip over the tables of two other conservative pro-life groups before smashing some of their materials with a bicycle helmet, according to Campus Reform. Vandalism and violence against pro-life advocates has skyrocketed in recent months in response to the U.S. Supreme Court overturning Roe v. Wade. LifeNews has documented more than 165 acts of pro-abortion violence since May.

I sometimes wish I was a college student in this day & age, instead of decades ago. It would be quite satisfying fighting fire with fire. I would be in a defensive posture only until the first move to violence against me or the table I was sitting at. I would do my very best to quickly change a smirking bully into a very repentant student.

These little thumb-sucking, basement dwelling trolls commit these violent assaults because they know they can get away with it. Start taking their pictures, post their pics, follow them, find out where they live. They won’t always be protected.

I remember when traditional, God-fearing conservatives knew how to fight and would at the drop of a hat, when provoked. Otherwise, they minded their own business and looked out for their friends, family, and neighbors.

I am seeing a great deal of parallels with what is going on here in the USA and Weimar Germany in the early 1930's. Maybe brown shirts aren't being worn, but the attempt to intimidate is the same. I also see the display of the "pride" flag just like the red flag with the white circle and black symbol in the middle.

Republicans on the House Foreign Affairs Committee have released their report on the U.S. military's final, problematic withdrawal last summer from Afghanistan that concludes no senior Biden administration officials have been "held accountable" for the "tragic" departure and warns the county has again become a safe haven for terrorists. "The choices made in the corridors of power in D.C. led to tragic yet avoidable outcomes: 13 dead service members, American lives still at great risk, increased threats to our homeland security, tarnished standing abroad for years to come, and emboldened enemies across the globe," read the 115-page interim report titled “‘A Strategic Failure’: Assessing the Administration’s Afghanistan Withdrawal.”

In the wake of the 2020 election, many questions arose about the power of the vice president of the United States during the counting of the electoral votes. The 12th Amendment provides that, in the counting of electoral votes, the president of the Senate (the vice president) shall “in the presence of the Senate and House of Representatives, open all the certificates and the votes shall then be counted.” The clause is ambiguous; clearly, the vice president is tasked with opening the certificates (the electoral votes certified by the states).

But first, here’s breaking news about a dangerous insurrectionist who has been sentenced by Judge Royce Lamberth in Washington DC for her dastardly role in subverting our democracy. Thank heavens, our country is safe — for the next 60 days, at least — now that this 69-year-old grandmother, self-described “citizen journalist,” retired substance abuse counselor and breast cancer patient, Pam Hemphill from Idaho, is confined to a California prison. She’ll have three years of probation after that.

Many RedState readers will recall our exclusive series covering the bullying and harassment Kamdin Hernandez, a 4th grader in Simi Valley, California was subjected to by teachers and school administrators because he was unable to wear a face mask fully over-the-nose throughout the school day. Due to Kamdin’s attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), wearing a face mask so distracted him that he was unable to concentrate on his school work, yet teachers and administrators berated him in front of classmates, physically blocked him from entering the door into the school, locked him out of his classroom, physically pulled the mask up over his nose against his wishes, and more.

When candidate Joe Biden promised that if elected president he would unite the country, did he think he could do it alienating roughly half the population? Or did he mean he would unite the Democrats and independents against the “MAGA Republicans”? Thursday’s speech clearly indicates what he had in mind was the latter. Last week, Biden smeared Donald Trump supporters, calling them semi-fascists who practice “burn-it-all-down politics” and face “backwards full of anger, violence, hate and division.” One of the most appropriate and fitting responses we saw

Hayes said, “President Joe Biden just delivered an argument on behalf of American democracy. President Joe Biden’s Thursday evening speech targeting supporters of former President Donald Trump was mocked on social media, with many users poking fun at the stage. The speech, held in Philadelphia, marked continued attacks on supporters of Trump, reiterating earlier attacks in which he claimed Republicans embraced “semi-fascism” at an Aug. 25 fundraiser for the Democratic National Committee in Maryland, and also attacked “MAGA Republicans” during a Tuesday speech in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. Biden called “MAGA Republicans” a threat to democracy and doubled down on his rhetoric calling supporters of former President Donald trump “extremists.” WMAL talk show host Larry O’Connor threw the epithet Biden directed at Republicans back at the president.

If state Rep. Marcus Evans has his way, Chicago will enter the race to build the first offshore wind farm on the Great Lakes. Evans has introduced a bill that lays the groundwork for a proposed wind farm in Lake Michigan, about 10 miles from the shores of the Southeast Side. The bill sets up a fund that would help the state to compete for federal money, including $230 million for port infrastructure projects available from the U.S. Department of Transportation. Illinois would enter the race behind Ohio — where the Icebreaker wind farm in Lake Erie recently won a court battle that should allow construction of a demonstration project

Back in the 90s, at the height of the Monica Lewinsky scandal, the establishment media hammered home the proposition that the individual character of a chief executive didn’t matter. He could be a cheerful rogue and serial philanderer like Bill Clinton, but the Left insisted that was a private matter and that the only thing Americans should care about was that he was a competent and capable president (which he wasn’t, but that’s another story). These assertions have become the conventional wisdom since then, but Old Joe Biden is now putting them to the test. On Tuesday, Fox News’ Lisa Boothe enunciated a simple truth that shows

A recent top-secret cable sent by CIA Headquarters to its field stations apparently warned in stark terms of the loss of a substantial number of assets. In particular, the message focused on issues with the secure handling of sources and apparent errors made by CIA case officers that had led to the compromise of their sources. If true, this news ought to alarm every American, and drastic, corrective action ought to be taken immediately. CIA is taking a lot of hits these days. It should. Its leadership has gone dangerously astray and gotten involved in domestic political matters which should never be the province of a foreign intelligence organization.
