On Friday’s broadcast of HBO’s “Real Time,” host Bill Maher said President Joe Biden’s student loan program will make income inequality worse and the issue is higher education is sold “as a golden ticket to be in the upper middle class, but they’re not really getting any education.” He also argued that “education is to Democrats what tax cuts are to Republicans, they think it solves everything.”

It's not about more education for the left. Education is a tool for their kind to make money, indoctrinate, and dictate. These evilenes care only for empowering and enriching themselves; everything and everyone else is only useful to those causes for them. Can you understand the anger of the people who strung up Il Duce after he was executed?

Maher is right in this instance and is often a voice of reason. College has become a scam: a 4+ year summer camp which promises even wastrel offspring knowledge and wisdom in service to a better life. Dollar-for-dollar a college education may be the biggest scam in world history.

Is there any institution in this world that has not been corrupted by the love of money?

Actually it should be illegal to hire a college graduate. They don't know what a woman is. They're not sure what bathroom to use. And they firmly believe that only electric vehicles should be allowed AND all electricity generating plants should be shut down.

What is truly sad is these people think the handout is about forgiveness of student debt. When, in my humbled opinion, it is about something else. First, colleges and universities are needing a bailout and secondly, this handout makes a person indebted to government come tax time.
The subject of forgiveness is something that perplexes me. There is a counterpart to forgiveness and that is repentance. Taking ownership of a wrong. We have a lot of people running around saying you have to forgive but they forget about the aspect of admitting wrongdoing.
My concern for people receiving this student debt forgiveness is they now have a target on their back. Democrats don't just give free stuff, they expect something in return.

A truly educated person is a threat to the democrat party. No one who can think and reason would ever vote Donkey.

How about just awarding a college degree upon birth and forgetting the 4 year nonsense that is posing as education today?

He’s right but he doesn’t mention the true reason for this loan “forgiveness”. It’s nothing but vote buying for the demonrats. They see via the polls that young people are moving to the right so they have to bribe them to come back to the left.

Maher is a hateful, anti-Christian and quite obnoxious. But, occasionally he tells the truth.

The people off the hook are the ones who got a nice fat loan but dropped out with no degree. Doesn't matter ... they weren't paying the loans back anyway. It's probably rayysist to expect them to.

Education, from K-PhD, is an industry. It lost its esteemed status many years ago when the game changed to provide the gullible with the "golden ticket", and employers the opportunity to hire "highly qualified" affirmative action dolts with great fanfare. The middle class was first trained to push college as the only real choice in career development. turning many prestigious schools into diploma mills into the doctorate levels. And government subsidized the scam with grants and loans, expanding that to include every living human within our borders. Like housing, it was "good for the economy" and "socially just". That bubble just burst on the taxpayers and those who actually paid off their loans.

I'm a brain surgeon and I called a Plumber to my house last week because all my plumbing was stopped up. After working for 2-3 hours he finally cleared all the drains and everything got everything working again. Her handed me an invoice for $5k. I told him that was ridiculous. I told him I was a brain surgeon and didn't even make that kind of money. He said "Tell me about it. I used to be a brain surgeon too...."

In the '90's when I was looking to change jobs, all headhunters wanted college grads. I trained college grads as part of my work. They could not read script nor count a column of numbers.
