The tensions between Barack Obama and Joe Biden are laid bare for the first time in a new biography detailing the often fraught relationship between the pair. The Long Alliance: The Imperfect Union of Joe Biden and Barack Obama reveals that the former and current President did not have a cozy 'bromance' during their nearly 20-year conncection, as many believe. Biden, who served as Obama's vice president during both his terms as president, was accused of 'betrayal' for announcing that they both supported gay marriage before his boss did.In their early days Obama thought that Biden was 'condescending'

I'm still of the opinion that it's been decided that Biden WONT be the 2024 nominee. This is just more "setting the table" to convince Biden to not run. But what do I know. I didn't think a socialist could win in 2008. I didn't think that the same socialist could win re-election in 2012. I certainly didn't think that someone could win the presidency from the basement. And I was sure that Kamala would have invoked the 25th amendment by now.

Obama used Biden as an experienced DC insider with years living in the swamp, with expected gravitas (there never has been that). Obama cares nothing for the old, white fool but he had to have somebody to prop him up because he was and is an obvious empty suit and fraud.

President Joe Biden received backlash from corporate news reporters on Thursday night after he delivered a polarizing campaign-style speech flanked by two U.S. Marines. During the speech, the president attacked tens of millions of people who voted for former President Donald Trump, describing them as extremists. “Whatever you think of this speech the military is supposed to be apolitical,” CNN host Brianna Keilar, whose husband serves in U.S. Army, wrote on Twitter. “Positioning Marines in uniform behind President Biden for a political speech flies in the face of that. It’s wrong when Democrats do it. It’s wrong when Republicans do it.” CNN Chief National Affairs Correspondent Jeff Zeleny wrote that

When candidate Joe Biden promised that if elected president he would unite the country, did he think he could do it alienating roughly half the population? Or did he mean he would unite the Democrats and independents against the “MAGA Republicans”? Thursday’s speech clearly indicates what he had in mind was the latter. Back in the 90s, at the height of the Monica Lewinsky scandal, the establishment media hammered home the proposition that the individual character of a chief executive didn’t matter. He could be a cheerful rogue and serial philanderer like Bill Clinton, but the Left insisted that was a private matter and that the only thing Americans should care about was that he was a competent and capable president (which he wasn’t, but that’s another story). In particular, the message focused on issues with the secure handling of sources and apparent errors made by CIA case officers that had led to the compromise of their sources. If true, this news ought to alarm every American, and drastic, corrective action ought to be taken immediately. CIA is taking a lot of hits these days. It should. Its leadership has gone dangerously astray and gotten involved in domestic political matters which should never be the province of a foreign intelligence organization.
