Joe Biden uses $500,000 federal funds

Border walls, who needs border walls? Apparently, only Joe Biden does, the rest of us can go without. According to a furious editorial by the New York Post: President Joe Biden is all for open borders — except when it comes to the one around his own vacation spot. He’s stuck taxpayers with a bill for close to half a million for a security fence around his Delaware beach house, a project ongoing since last September, contracted out to a local builder by the Department of Homeland Security. The irony is rich: The same agency Biden has used to help erase the US southern border is overseeing a wall

Did Oliver North stop the construction of a wall on our southern border? Funny I must have missed that. Let Biden have his wall for protection. But He needs to get out of the way so the border wall can be finished.

From what I have seen of his beach house where is this wall going to go? It seems to be on a residential street with houses and driveways. It's right on the street not set way back on a large lot. The ocean has to be out in back of the house...are they walling off the ocean? What about neighbors and their ocean views? They are calling it a wall rather than a fence, I would assume you can't see through it. Why does it cost $500K, why do we have to pay for it? Can't Hunter just whip up another painting? He wouldn't be the first President to ruin a neighborhood. Obama's house in Chicago, which he still owns and is still guarded 24 hours a day by Secret Service, has wreaked havoc on the neighborhood is still going strong. They have moved the concrete barricades in a bit to allow easier access to the neighbor's homes, but the SS still will stop visitors and ask for I.D. I assume were are paying protection for his 3 other homes too.

From a contemporaneous NYT article showing impeachment charges the Dems brought against Nixon for billing the government for fences on his private property- Two charges were made in the article dealing with the President's financial irregulars‐ties The first was that the Federal Government spent money at the President's homes in California and Florida and paid for travel by the President's family that did not relate to Mr. Nixon's official functions,.

This should be a major GOP ad: Split screen with a fence being built around Estate Biden and drug- and human-traffickers coming across the border. I am NOT saying all people crossing illegally are traffickers. The vast majority are not, I am sure. But without appropriate barriers to and procedures for entry, we have no control over the border to prevent ne'er-do-wells from entering.

Like the good narco-guerrilla he once was, Colombia's loathsome leftist president, Gustavo Petro, is proposing an old goal of the drug lords of yore for Colombia: decriminalizing cocaine. According to the Washington Post: Two weeks after taking office, the country's first leftist government is proposing an end to "prohibition" and the start of a government-regulated cocaine market. Through legislation and alliances with other leftist governments in the region, officials in this South American nation hope to turn their country into a laboratory for drug decriminalization. Has the Border Patrol gone from a guardian of America's borders to a valet service for illegals? Sure looks like it, given what Fox News's Bill Melugin and Adam Shaw observed in Eagle Pass, Texas, on Wednesday: Border Patrol agents on Wednesday opened a gate that had previously been locked by members of the Texas National Guard, in order to allow a number of illegal immigrants deeper into the United States. Fox News witnessed members of the guard close and lock the gate, which is situated on private property and had previously been open, to deny entry to migrants who had crossed illegally and were expecting to be allowed into the U.S.

Here's the alarm: Just as the AR-15 rifle has become a sacred object for Christian nationalists in general, the rosary has acquired a militaristic meaning for radical-traditional (or “rad trad”) Catholics. On this extremist fringe, rosary beads have been woven into a conspiratorial politics and absolutist gun culture. These armed radical traditionalists have taken up a spiritual notion that the rosary can be a weapon in the fight against evil and turned it into something dangerously literal.

Is nothing sacred to the left? Suddenly, St. Joan of Arc has been rewritten into a transgender icon, according to wokester elites in the arts, who've decided to culturally expropriate the Catholic saint and national patroness of France for the god of transgenderism on multiple fronts. They've even expropriated from the title of Robert Graves's most famous book, I, Claudius. Instead of being the Maid of Orleans, the Liberator of France, and a great symbol of feminine chastity, beauty, innocence and courage, she's now some creature whose bravery consists of contemplating her genitals and displaying her wokeness in the trendy new definition of heroism.

Many Tijuana residents took shelter Friday evening after burning vehicles appeared throughout the city in what is suspected to be a coordinated act of organized crime. At least 19 vehicles, including both privately-owned and public transport, were ignited in different cities in the state of Baja California, according to local authorities, and in some cases blocked the roadways. Similar vehicle fires were used earlier in the week in the states of Jalisco and Guanajuato to send a cartel message to the Mexican government after the detention of several cartel members in an operation by the Mexican military. It is not clear whether the acts of violence in Tijuana are related.

He reminded me that when engaged in a philosophical debate, as opposed to the 9th grade Debating Challenge, the point is not simply to vanquish one’s opponent but to find the truth. In order to do the former one may use any means fair or foul to destroy the opponent. For the latter one must do the exact opposite and represent one’s opponent’s position in the strongest terms possible.

They suggest, “the way to seek real freedom will be to use procedures consistent with popular rule.” Of course, the piece is polished sewage: tyranny of the majority is a very real, and very dangerous threat to the individual, (perhaps they should go read Federalist 10, but they likely wouldn’t understand that either).
