Meta, the corporate parent of Facebook, has announced its plans to control the flow of information on the site where most voters get their news. You see, the public has to be protected from “misinformation” and the omniscient sages of Meta are just the folks to decude what is and isn’t worthy of being shared with the public. I certainly do not get my information from facebook. I may state my opinion there but my opinion comes from a far more decent source. I do not believe that facebook really cares about information they are more interested in putting their slant on the information provided.

The only way to stop the censorship is for these platforms to be declared common carriers, and therefore unable to discriminate. I am sure Mitch McConnell is on top of it.

One of my younger sisters, many years ago, suggested that the siblings all get Farcebook accounts so we could stay in touch. I deleted my account within a few months. She's gone now, but my older sister and I still converse weekly, by phone. We have email for pictures and don't have to wade through hundreds of ads and recipes. My wife kept her account for the local homeowners news, the church site and the classic car clubs site that we belong to.

Zuckerberg and Big Tech understand their customers better than anyone. Social media is a global watercooler, where everyone gathers to discuss issues. The trick is to direct those looking for the popular path to a particular viewpoint. It's Marketing 101. Let's take something like tattooing. How did "inking" become popular, nearly ubiquitous in those under 30? Social media removed the stigma using pop culture and particularly celebrities to expand this practice. Television featured it in "reality" programming, and people actually want to emulate fools like Snooki and anyone named Kardashian. It's hard to educate the willfully ignorant. It's easier to create a pop phenomenon. Hire some "influencers" and let it rip.

So why aren't leaders of the GOP not taking Zuckerbucks and Meta to Court in an effort to stop this company from censoring political speech? Is this company not in the USA? That same company will bend over backward for the Chinese Communist Party rules, but not for the U.S. Constitution?

If anyone thinks a patriot's message would be posted in our technical oligarchs websites has to be an idiot. All Conservatives need to get off the left wing websites so they lose the advertising revenues. This includes buying through Amazon. Go to your local businesses even if it does cost a little bit more money. You are helping Americans be stronger.

This site and a few others are reliable sources for news that you won't see anywhere else. Surprisingly, the news is what is current based on certain events that come up each day, and certain stories take precedent over others at times. That is the nature of things. JoeBamaVegetableBiteMe just "moves on" and hopes we all forget. It is impossible to simply forget thousands left behind last year while we bugged out without a plan. We never seem to actually "circle back", just go on to the next cover up story to take our attention and forget because it is not in the current news "stack of stuff" Many of those fakebook stories make it to L.dotcom because they are the current stories, but posters have many often unique points to provide thought and analysis which is quite valuable! The biggest concern with FB is so much how they "cultivate" the stories of the day, but rather how opposing viewpoints are silenced, de-platformed, put in "jail", "shaddow banned", not allowing ALL their audience to see posts made, or how they are hidden away by "fact checkers" who they admitted in Court testimony are not really experts of facts, but rather are trying to manipulate the presentation of reality. FB/Meta are largely responsible for the corrupt money that allowed for unattended dropboxes to be used by the "2000 Mules" to overturn the vote in the last election as well, so don't EVER trust THEM as your only source of news!

Border walls, who needs border walls? Apparently, only Joe Biden does, the rest of us can go without. According to a furious editorial by the New York Post: President Joe Biden is all for open borders — except when it comes to the one around his own vacation spot. He’s stuck taxpayers with a bill for close to half a million for a security fence around his Delaware beach house, a project ongoing since last September, contracted out to a local builder by the Department of Homeland Security. Has the Border Patrol gone from a guardian of America's borders to a valet service for illegals? Sure looks like it, given what Fox News's Bill Melugin and Adam Shaw observed in Eagle Pass, Texas, on Wednesday: Border Patrol agents on Wednesday opened a gate that had previously been locked by members of the Texas National Guard, in order to allow a number of illegal immigrants deeper into the United States. Fox News witnessed members of the guard close and lock the gate, which is situated on private property and had previously been open, to deny entry to migrants who had crossed illegally and were expecting to be allowed into the U.S.

Here's the alarm: Just as the AR-15 rifle has become a sacred object for Christian nationalists in general, the rosary has acquired a militaristic meaning for radical-traditional (or “rad trad”) Catholics. On this extremist fringe, rosary beads have been woven into a conspiratorial politics and absolutist gun culture. These armed radical traditionalists have taken up a spiritual notion that the rosary can be a weapon in the fight against evil and turned it into something dangerously literal.

Is nothing sacred to the left? Suddenly, St. Joan of Arc has been rewritten into a transgender icon, according to wokester elites in the arts, who've decided to culturally expropriate the Catholic saint and national patroness of France for the god of transgenderism on multiple fronts. They've even expropriated from the title of Robert Graves's most famous book, I, Claudius. Instead of being the Maid of Orleans, the Liberator of France, and a great symbol of feminine chastity, beauty, innocence and courage, she's now some creature whose bravery consists of contemplating her genitals and displaying her wokeness in the trendy new definition of heroism.

Many Tijuana residents took shelter Friday evening after burning vehicles appeared throughout the city in what is suspected to be a coordinated act of organized crime. At least 19 vehicles, including both privately-owned and public transport, were ignited in different cities in the state of Baja California, according to local authorities, and in some cases blocked the roadways. Similar vehicle fires were used earlier in the week in the states of Jalisco and Guanajuato to send a cartel message to the Mexican government after the detention of several cartel members in an operation by the Mexican military. It is not clear whether the acts of violence in Tijuana are related.

He reminded me that when engaged in a philosophical debate, as opposed to the 9th grade Debating Challenge, the point is not simply to vanquish one’s opponent but to find the truth. In order to do the former one may use any means fair or foul to destroy the opponent. For the latter one must do the exact opposite and represent one’s opponent’s position in the strongest terms possible.

No doubt still sulking over the Roe v. Wade reversal — the opening sentence of their recent op-ed published in The New York Times is, “When liberals lose at the Supreme Court — as they increasingly have over the past half-century” — two Ivy League professors laid out their claims for an America without Constitutional limitations. They suggest, “the way to seek real freedom will be to use procedures consistent with popular rule.” Of course, the piece is polished sewage: tyranny of the majority is a very real, and very dangerous threat to the individual, (perhaps they should go read Federalist 10, but they likely wouldn’t understand that either).
