New York State Attorney General Letitia James campaigned for office on her plan to use all the prosecutorial resources of the office to investigate and prosecute Donald Trump. (snip) James, however, has not limited her attack to Trump or his businesses. James also issued a letter threatening a church hosting an event by a Trump-favorable group that included Eric Trump in advance of the event warning that her office was monitoring the event and would act if any civil rights or other laws were broken. (snip) The group in question is the Reawaken America Tour that has traveled through cities across the country since April, 2021,

Comments:

This was an event that was held about a week ago, in a large rented "revival" tent that was constructed on the parking lot of the church. Yesterday, I watched a Rumble post-event video of Steve Schultz interviewing Eric Trump and Clay Clark (the event promoter) about the event. Clay Clark played a video clip from the event, which showed a bald eagle circling over the tent for about 5 minutes, at the exact same time that Amanda Grace was on stage with Eric Trump, and was praying "over" him and for President Trump. Some parishioners told Clark that they had never before seen a bald eagle fly over the church property.

Actor Alec Baldwin appeared on CNN after the latest developments in his fatal shooting of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins on a New Mexico movie set last October and once again showed that former President Donald J. Trump continues to live rent-free in his head. Following a newly-released FBI forensics report that concluded that the 64-year-old television and film star pulled the trigger on the “prop” gun that brought an end to Hutchins’ life during the filming of the western “Rust,” Baldwin played the victim by claiming that he feared that Trump would “instruct” his followers to act out violently against him after the tragic accident.

According to one theology professor, the Bible is neutral when it comes to abortion. On July 20, Melanie A. Howard, Associate Professor of Biblical & Theological Studies at Fresno Pacific University (FPU) in California, published an article in The Conversation explaining her view that the Bible neither condemns nor supports abortion. FPU claims to be the only accredited Christian university in California’s Central Valley. “In the days since the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade,” writes Howard, “some Christians have cited the Bible to argue why this decision should either be celebrated or lamented. But here’s the problem: This 2,000-year-old text says nothing about abortion.”

Laredo, Texas, citizen journalist Priscilla Villarreal was arrested for questioning police in 2017 after she was able to confirm the names of subjects in stories she wrote by contacting a Laredo Police Department officer.
