The Biden administration said Thursday it will try to super-charge its monkeypox response by making an additional 1.8 million doses of the Jynneos vaccine available to states, starting Monday, and setting aside tens of thousands of doses for places that are hosting gay pride events.(Snip) “We are working to meet demand wherever we may find it,” White House monkeypox coordinator Robert Fenton said. Mr. Fenton said states will be able to request federal assistance if they need help administering the vaccines. “More shots in arms is how we get the outbreak under control,” he said.

The U.S. Marshals Service is drafting a sanctuary policy that would limit the agency’s ability to hold illegal immigrants for pickup by ICE, The Washington Times has learned. Under the policy, marshals would not be able to hold illegal immigrants for pickup by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement on the say-so of an immigration warrant, or “detainer” request. Once the Marshals Service is finished processing an immigrant for its custody purposes, the person is to be released even if ICE has asked for a hold.

The media and others on the left were of course thrilled with the Republican leader’s “notable quotable” disparagement of Republican candidates and the voters who chose them, which somehow came off even worse on video.
What was McConnell thinking? What in the world was he thinking?
Just in case you needed yet another reason not to take the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) seriously, this story should suffice. The agency released a study on Friday recommending that people wear face masks, among other measures, to avoid catching monkeypox.
The problem? The precautions the CDC suggested do not line up with what the data shows about the spread of the illness.
This week’s Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report (MMWR) contained research on the spread of the monkeypox virus through contaminated surfaces. The study centered on two patients who lived together and had contracted the virus.

They say this has nothing at all to do with Gay men having wildly promiscuous sex with any and all comers, and yet the focus is on giving shots to "men who have sex with men." And not one word or thought is given to asking these people to keep their pants on for 5 minutes for The Greater Good, which would be 100% effective, unlike how everyone else was forced to wear stupid masks and sacrifice basic liberties in order to flatten the Corona curve.
