President Donald Trump on Friday ridiculed a report suggesting he had classified documents about nuclear weapons at his home at Mar-a-Lago, which prompted the FBI raid on Monday. “Nuclear weapons issue is a Hoax, just like Russia, Russia, Russia was a Hoax, two Impeachments were a Hoax, the Mueller investigation was a Hoax, and much more,” Trump wrote on social media. The Washington Post cited “people familiar with the investigation,” who claimed the FBI was searching Trump’s home for “classified documents relating to nuclear weapons.” No other details were provided.

One wonders what price the Chinese had on these "nuclear" documents. When the warrant is finally released to the public, it will be interesting to note where the erasures and overtypes were made. When a subject's lawyers are only allowed to see it from a distance, one must wonder why. Are District Court Magistrate Judges any more foolish, gullible or unquestioning than FISA Court Judges, who are sull-fledged Federal Judges? We'll find out.

They lie about this claim. Not even remotely credible. Just another lie, this time a stupid one, desperate to try to deflect the widespread anger of ordinary people from their purely political KGB action. This is pure desperation.

I would like to add that magistrates are not real judges. The judge delegates various routine tasks to the magistrate to free up the judges’ time for more important things. It’s really incredible to me that a federal judge would let his or her assistant handle a matter of such high profile. Was the judge informed that this magistrate was embarking on such a quest? Did the judge specifically assign it to him? Somehow I feel a real judge should have been involved.

Who are these "people familiar with the investigation"? Names? Or is it illegal to release contents of a warrant without the judge's permission? So the WaPo is facilitating illegal acts? But, wait, I thought no one is above the law!

Building the narrative, it's nukes this time but remember there's some low IQ liberal who thinks they are intelligent watching CNN who will believe this bull stuff story. This will never end until the threat of Trump is exterminated one way or another. Explain the interest in Melania's wardrobe and undergarments did they think top secret nukes were stashed there to spend that much time in her room. The FBI was planting evidence pure and simple nothing else.

Top Secret nuclear documents are required to be secured in a two-person control safe with regularly scheduled inventories and change of combinations. A log would be kept documenting anyone who had access. Access would only be on an operational need-to-know basis and with the correct level of security clearance. If such materials have been sitting in boxes in a basement that would be a major insecurity with grave implications for the security officials who were entrusted with safeguarding the materials. FBI field agents viewing such information recovered in a raid would be a compromise of the material, since they do not have operational need-to-know.

Seems to me the Secret Service logs alone would put the lie to these claims. The SS tracks PDJT's whereabouts the minute sweep as who he meets with. Even if Federal Bureau of Instigation, Intimidation, and Incarceration were to forge names on the boxes paper trail,it would only take one discrepancy to hugely blow the accusation out of the water. Brevard County Sheriff Wayne Ivey announced this week that officers in county schools will carry long guns and will be prepared to “meet violence with violence” and win the day. Florida Today quoted Ivey saying, “You are not coming into my schools and killing our children.” He noted, “I firmly believe that if you do not meet violence with violence, you will be violently killed.” Ivey posted a video to Facebook in which he announced that officers will have long guns on their persons, in order to save time that would have been wasted running to a squad car to retrieve the firearm during an attack.

The search, according to multiple people familiar with the investigation, appeared to be focused on material that Mr. Trump had brought with him to Mar-a-Lago, his private club, and residence when he left the White House. Those boxes contained many pages of classified documents, according to a person familiar with their contents. To make matters worse, there are cheers inside the Biden White House when they found out about the news.

Constitutional law scholar Jonathan Turley of George Washington University Law School has proposed an alliance among conservative “red” states to engage in counter-boycotts against any liberal “blue” state, such as California, that boycotts first. The proposal is a response to efforts by blue states to ban state-funded travel to red states that enact conservative laws on issues such as transgender bathrooms in school, biological men participating in women’s sports, and restrictions on abortion. California, for example, currently bans state-funded travel to 22 states. While such bans are difficult to enforce —

One thing we must give Democrats credit for is their unity. Yes, certain members of the party such as Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV) and Sen. Kyrsten Sinema (D-AZ) will occasionally diverge from the party line and oppose particularly radical pieces of legislation, but when it comes to big moments and key votes – on impeachment, for instance – Democrats circle the wagons. Contrarily, Republicans tend to fracture at the most inopportune moments, which is why it was refreshing to see virtual unanimity amongst the GOP after Monday’s outrageous raid on former President Donald Trump’s residence Mar-a-Lago. Almost all notable Republicans supported Trump after the ordeal; all except for one.

It is helpful to think of political developments as moves on the chessboard made to advance an objective. In chess, the objective is to win the game, chess being zero-sum. Politics is like that, too, though participants often claim it's not, that they're acting for the greater good, principles at the foundation of democracy, motherhood and apple pie and all that — which is true in some cases but never if Democrats are in the game. This brings me to Attorney General Garland's claim that the Mar-a-Lago home invasion wasn't a raid at all.

Medical education, medical research, and standards of competence have been upended by two related hypotheses: that systemic racism is responsible both for racial disparities in the demographics of the medical profession and for racial disparities in health outcomes. Questioning those hypotheses is professionally suicidal. Vast sums of public and private research funding are being redirected from basic science to political projects aimed at dismantling white supremacy. The result will be declining quality of medical care and a curtailment of scientific progress.
